Ok, so this is one of those times that I am more than a little late… I’m blaming the day job, but really its because my organisation system has gone out of the window, my head has been in the shed, and I quite simply forgot! Today I’m sharing the card I made for Valentines!

I could have course let it go and missed the card off my blog, but it’s so damn pretty that I just HAD to share it with you.

This card was totally inspired by the lovely Dena Rekow over at The Creativity Cave. The hearts are from the Heart Happiness stamp set, after each one was stamped I added a wash of water to create this pretty Faux Watercolour look. The hearts are stamped onto Shimmery White card stock, which is just perfect for watercolour techniques, PLUS it makes your projects sparkle!

Can you believe that this is also my very first Eclipse card (talk about late to the party!)… This is such a fun technique! It is a fun way of adding a subtle sentiment, by die cutting your word from your stamped piece, and then inserting it back but popped up onto dimensionals! (and what is even better…. that YOU die is FREE during Sale-a-bration! Awesome!)

The rest of the sentiment is stamped with the Labeler Alphabet stamp set, and a hint of splatter added to find the card.

I have been loving doing some memory keeping projects recently. I’ve been working on my One Little Word album, and I have some 12 x 12 traditional scrapbook layouts to share with you soon too. Hello! I hope that your week is of to a great start! I have a quick project for you today, using one of the fabulous items from Sale-a-bration…

The Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes are available for FREE with a £45 order before the 31st March. They coordinate with the Tutti Frutti Suite in the Spring Summer Catalogue. This fabulous suite contains a really cute stamp set and coordinating dies, Designer Series Paper, Card Stock, Mini Stampin’ Spots, and Adhesive Backed Sequins.

The Tutti Frutti cards and envelopes are a pack of 16 cards and matching envelopes in Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Basic Black. I’ve pulled out the Basic Black and combined them with the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and some Basic Black stamping with Beautiful Day.

I gave you a bit of a sneak peak of this card on Wednesday… but I have made another version for todays (special) video!

This card features the Double Embossing technique. I am LOVING this at the moment, I think it really adds a wow to an embossing folder and it works so well with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder that is part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle available for FREE during Sale-a-bration!

Today’s video is special for a few reasons; 1. spot the sneaky first appearance of my new Stamparatus! (there WILL be more of that very soon… I am LOVING it!) 2. I have been playing around with my video editing, and I would love to hear what you think of the new format! Let me know in the comments here or on the video itself on YouTube!

I would suggest a couple of top tips for this one….

Make sure you’re embossing folder is clean before each use… I think that is why there is a LOT more embossing powder on the Night of Navy card than the Early Espresso one, I didn’t remove the first layer of Versamark ink in between cards!
Rub your card stock with your Embossing Buddy before you run it through the embossing folder… stop that powder sticking in places you don’t want it!
Take you time, Versamark is very slow drying, you have plenty of time, don’t rush!

I am LOVING the Colour Combination for Inspire.Create.Challenges #013….

This colour combination was totally inspired by the Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper which is currently available for FREE with a £45 during Sale-a-bration. I know that the Inspire.Create Design Team will have some fabulous projects with it… you can find them HERE!

Because the colour combination was inspired by the Designer Series Paper I thought I would use the paper on my card. This is the second time I’ve used this paper this week, you can also find it in this weeks Make It Monday video!

This card also uses the Lovely Inside and Out stamp set. I have been really enjoying some of the pre-printed cards in Stampin’ Up! kits recently, and thought it would be fun to re-create the look with stamps, so the card base is stamped with one of the stamps from Lovely Inside and Out in Bermuda Bay ink for a cool tone on tone effect.

This week I have 3 fabulous cards using the Blossoming Basket Bundle for you! I am LOVING this stamp and embossing folder bundle, the stamp set is just so pretty, and the embossing folder so versatile that I can see this one being inked for a long time yet!

This first card is super simple, with some fun stamping and a hint of Copper trim. I LOVE this colour combo though…

The second card might be one of my favourite creations recently… I was channelling the fabulous Emma Goddard with this one. I love the colour combo here to actually; Sahara Sand, Inland Indigo and Tranquil Tide!

I added a hint of watercolour to this one, I started with a simple wash of colour over the flowers, and then added darker and darker areas for shadows. I really enjoyed a bit of watercolouring, haven’t done it for ages… this will look fabulous on proper Watercolour Paper and some vibrant colour, except that I’ve run out of Watercolour Paper! I know, I can’t quite believe it either!

The 3rd card is a sneaky peak of the card coming on Friday… So I’m saying nothing more than that!

I don’t know about you but I have started to prepare for Easter.. (I probably should be preparing for Mother’s Day to, but I haven’t even thought about it yet! and its on Sunday!!!). I LOVE making cute little bags and things for chocolates for the people at work, and I think I might make a batch of these for our work Spring Fair at the end of March. I have a plan to put mini chocolate eggs in them, but they would be lovely with some bath salts or mini soap too!

These both use the lovely Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper (available for FREE during Sale-a-bration!), and I think these bright colours make these bags awesome for kids party favours or a school fair! Anyway, the Bubbles and Fizz paper also coordinates with the Bubble Over stamp and die bundle in the Spring Summer catalogue this year. The paper features images that the dies cut out! How cool is that!

Hello! So, I recently I have been evaluating a few things in my business… because this blog is my business, and by purchasing Stampin’ Up! goodies through my online store you keep this blog (and my videos) coming! This has led me to change things up a bit… my emails have reduced to once a week, and I am committed to more Facebook Live events and my VIP group… and my Friday videos are going to change a little too, rather than them be totally techniques focused they are going to start being a little broader…. and today is the start of that!

I have been having HEAPS of fun with the Springtime Foils Designer Series Paper, and I know that you guys are LOVING it too!
