It has been AGES since I took part in one of Kylie’s International Blog Highlights, and I’ve really missed it! I’m just recovering my full crafty mojo and blogging rhythm after having a (more than) pretty rough early pregnancy, moving house and Christmas, and so Kylie’s theme of Encouragement was just right up my street!
I am LOVING the Foil Sheets that are FREE during Sale-a-bration this year. You get 8 12×12″ sheets, 4 in Lovely Lipstick and 4 in Grapefruit Grove. It’s so pretty I can’t bring myself to cover it up, so here I’ve used it as part of the focal point of this card.
The card only uses 3 colours, because I really wanted that foil sheet to sing. So the whole card is just Lovely Lipstick, Basic Black and Whisper White.
The sentiment is taken from the stamp set Amazing Life, and it has been heat embossed in White onto a scrap of Basic Black. I love this look for cute little sentiments, it really makes the sentiment pop!
This card is finished with a bow in Lovely Lipstick ribbon and a trio of Glitter Enamel Dots

Oh, yes, today the team are blog hopping again! This time to celebrate the start of Sale-a-bration! I am in LOVE with the free goodies you can earn as part of Sale-a-bration this year, and don’t even get me started on the tote bag that you could add to a Starter Kit!
I’ve been playing with the Butterfly Gala suite a lot this month as it formed the basis for my first Card Class of 2019, and so I thought I would carry on with a theme… and use the coordinating FREE Designer Series Paper for a cute bag.
These papers are stunning, with a pretty pastel palette on one side and black and white on the other, PLUS they coordinate with the fabulous Butterfly Gala Stamp and Punch Bundle too…

This week I thought I would take the opportunity to recap this year’s Sale-a-bration offers… and make 3 cards using the Hello Cupcake Stamp set.
This first card was my attempt at #simplestamping. I think this card would make a great quick make for that neighbours birthday you’ve forgotten, or change the sentiment for a fun Thank you or Just because card for your milkman or UPS man!
The second card was a slightly stepped up version of that cute note card. I swapped the card base for Mint Macaron Card Stock and added a layer of Very Vanilla. If you want to know my card measurements, I almost always us the same, you can find the over on my Standard Card Measurements Page.
Facebook Live
I mentioned in the video there are 3 parts to Sale-a-bration:
Shop – Ever time you spend £45 (on anything on the Stampin’ Up! website) between now and the end of March, you earn a Sale-a-bration credits which you can swap in for fun Stamp Sets like the cute Hello Cupcake Set I used today. There are 2 items that require 2 credits, or a £90 spend at the back of the Sale-a-bration booklet
Host – Earn extra Stampin’ Rewards when you spend over £200 or host a party that spends over the same amount
Join – Become a part of Stampin’ Up!, choose £170 worth of goodies and pay just £99 (or spend an extra £26 and get the GORGEOUS Craft and Carry Tote too!) and then get at least 20% discount on all purchases, take part in team events (like yesterday’s Blog Hop) or just be a happy shopper!
The 3rd card is further stepped up, with a fussy cut cupcake and embossed circle… but it’s not quite as stepped up and my original design which also has Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and a heat embossed sentiment.

Shop
Every time you spend £45 during Sale-a-bration you earn one fabulous Sale-a-bration credit. These credits are cashed in for FREE Stamps, Designer Series Papers, Dies or Embellishments at the same time as your order. Some items need just one credit, while a couple of the really fancy goodies need 2. Stampin’ Up! calls these Level 1 or Level 2 rewards, and you can’t complete your Online Order without choosing one… so you know you’re not going to miss out!
The second part of Sale-a-bration is Host. Host has 2 parts;
Host a party with me during Sale-a-bration and earn extra free goodies when your group orders over £200 collectively. I would LOVE to hold some parties in the first part of 2019. Just Ask Me for more details!
Place an individual order of at least £200 to earn an extra £20 worth of Stampin’ Rewards. Stampin’ Rewards kick in for orders over £150 and allow you to choose either Hostess Exclusive stamp sets, or anything else you like in the catalogue, for FREE…. when you order over £200 during Sale-a-bration Stampin’ Up! will give you an extra £20 in Stampin’ Rewards, meaning that you’ll have at least £40 of credit to spend as you choose (PLUS you’ll earn 4 Sale-a-bration credits too!)

I have had HEAPS of fun making cards with this years Sale-a-bration freebies, and I thought I would share them all with you in one blog post… just in case you hadn’t quite made up your mind about which one you wanted most! How do I join Stampin’ Up!
It’s really simple. Just follow THIS LINK… it will take you to the Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator Agreement. This document sets out your responsibilities as an Independent Demonstrator and I would encourage you to have a read, as it gives you the Demonstrator Policies. I know this sounds REALLY scary, but I do firmly believe that you need to know what you are signing up for. Stampin’ Up! expect very little from us, but they do require that a small sales (or purchase) minimum is met every quarter and that you don’t take payment from any other craft company (for example if you were paid to demonstrate for another company).
Once you have agreed to the IDA, you are then taken to a page where you are asked to Pick your Starter Kit… there is only one option to choose from, and then the form asks if you have a Stampin’ Rewards Starter Kit Code. This is for hostesses, or individuals who have placed a large order and earned Stampin’ Rewards. You can put your Stampin’ Rewards towards the cost of a Starter Kit, and if you have chosen to do this you will be issued with a code that you will able to enter here… otherwise click NO, then ‘Apply’
Stampin’ Up! will then prompt you to choose your 2 FREE Stamp sets, and add your Business Supplies pack (this is FREE and a requirement of the Kit… it includes catalogues and order forms). Then you can choose your £130 worth of Stampin’ Up! goodies for you kit.
Once you have chosen the items for you kit, you will then be asked to provide some details about yourself including you name and address, before you are asked for your payment information. The system asks you for a Credit Card, however a Debit Card will also work in the UK and Europe.
When you have submitted your Starter Kit order, there is a 7 day cooling off period before you can start to use your 20% discount. Your kit will be delivered in 3-5 working days, and I will be in touch via email to answer any questions!

StampinByHannah Sale-a-bration | Thank You Eclectic Expressions
I have been having heaps of fun with the Eclectic Expressions Stamp set. This is one of the sets that are available for FREE with a £45 order during Sale-a-bration (which ends on the 31st March!). When Eclectic Expressions first arrived in my craft room the first thing I saw was a fun Ombre pattern with those circles… and this card was born!
To create the fun Ombre I stamped two rows of each colour using the large circle stamp from Eclectic Expressions. I did try to create that mid-century circle effect… and I am sure that if I had had my Stamparatus when I stamped this I would have been more successful… but I still really love the effect created
The sentiment is also from Eclectic Expressions, and it’s stamped in Berry Burst onto a 1″ (2.5 cm) tall piece of Vellum which I wrapped around the card. I LOVE using Vellum on my cards, and this is definately one of my favourite ways of adding a sentiment too. The trick here is to stamp the sentiment FIRST… like, before you stamp anything else. This gives the ink plenty of time to dry, or you could add a layer of Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat emboss the sentiment for a quicker dry time
To stop the sentiment getting lost in all that Ombre Stamping, I added a couple of punched elements behind. There is a Whisper White Everyday Label and a Pool Party Classic Label, along with a couple of Leaves punched from Champagne foil and a trio of Glitter Enamel Dots to finish.

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Amazing You Sale-a-bration Eclipse Card
I cannot believe it has taken me quite so long to create an Eclipse card! Pinterest has been full of these for probably about 12 months, and at one point I resisted jumping on the band-wagon… until now! The Celebrate You Thinlits just lend themselves perfectly to this technique, and after I created my husbands Valentines card using it, I just HAD to make another just for you!
I am still loving the Amazing You Stamp Set and Celebrate You thinlits that are available for FREE during Sale-a-bration! That flower is just so pretty, and I am going to be really sad to see it go at the end of the month. However, the Celebrate You thinlits WILL be available in the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue… but surely its better to get them now for FREE than to pay for them in June?! right!
