In Colour Week | Tranquil Tide

Stampin' Up! 2017 In Colour Tranquil Tide Happy Birthday Card using Fresh Florals and Happy Birthday Gorgeous

Tranquil Tide is the last new In-Colour… its a beautiful deep teal colour, a colour like no other in our colour collection. It pairs beautifully with Emerald Envy, and works really well with pinks and purple tones.

This fun card was inspired by a card I spotted on Instagram a few weeks ago, and was borne from the idea of dry embossing Vellum. The vellum on this card was embossed with the Hexagon Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and is a super soft layer over the fabulous Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper.

This card uses the fabulous Delightful Daisy stamp and die bundle. I have BIG plans for this bundle…. maybe a class… maybe some tutorials. Eastern Palace | Gold Foil Surprizes

Eastern Palace Suite Gold Foiled Card using Stampin' Up! products

One of my favourite things about the Eastern Palace suite is the Gold Foiling. I do love a bit of Gold!

The Designer Series Paper has two sheets of Gold Foiled paper, and what is lovely that they are single sided so you don’t have to choose. The other colours in the DSP include 3 of the 5 new In Colours (check out yesterday’s VIDEO to see them all), Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist… and one of the In Colours from the 2016-2018 collection; Dapper Denim.

This card uses Dapper Demin and Tranquil Tide along with the Gold Foiling and a hint of Whisper White. I am sure that this is a CASE of a card by Kylie Bertucci…. but I’ve been through her blog and can’t find it! I can see this card being stepped up further with some ribbon or bakers twine… and a few Rhinestone Jewels too.

3D Friday | Tealight Box Revisited!

3D Friday Video Tutorial Pootles Inspired Tealight box using Jar of Love from Stampin' Up!

When I first started by my Blog and YouTube channel I created a cute little box for some tealights… and while the video wasn’t great and the photos were… hmmm, lets not go there! I LOVED it! So, now that my skills have vastly improved, I thought I would revisit this project from 3 years ago, altering the measurements a little for some slightly bigger tea lights!

As I mentioned yesterday I have cleared most of my craft room of things that have retiring, or are retiring… however every now and again I might reach into the box of goodies we are saying goodbye to… which I have done with one of these boxes. I filmed this video tutorial a few weeks ago, and it is impossible to predict how quickly something might sell out, and the Designer Series Paper (Blooms and Bliss) on the blue box is limited stock! Grab it now before it goes, it’s so pretty!

Measurements:

Card stock – 5 3/4 x 6 1/4″ (14.5 x 15.5 cm)

Score on the short side at – 1, 2 5/8, 3 5/8, and 5 1/4″ (2.5, 6.5, 9 and 13 cm)

Score on the long side at – 1/2, 1 1/2, 4 3/4 and 5 3/4″ (1, 3.5, 12 and 14.5 cm)

The second box, made on video, uses the Jar of Love stamp set to create a fun background in Rich Razzleberry.

3D Friday | Green and Blacks Mini Chocolate Gift Bags

I have made several confessions to you, my lovely blog readers, over the past few months…. I can’t remember if I have said this one before…. I am a chocoholic! I LOVE anything chocolate, or chocolate flavoured, or really any form of chocolate really. And that is why today’s tutorial is a bit of a miracle…. chocolate has survived in my craft room long enough for me to make a cute project using it! (actually I have more than one, keep you posted on those soon!)

3D Friday | Customer Thank You Treats!

3D Friday video Tutorial March Customer Thank you sweet treats using Urban Underground Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

Friday! Yay! I have a super quick video for you today… yes it is possible for me to make a video in less than 5 minutes. I think the main reason this one is so quick is that I had an awful tickle-y cough the day I film this and 5 minutes is about the maximum time I went between coughing fits! Oh the joys of making video tutorials! I hope you enjoy!

These sweet treat packets contain a little something for my customers, and they were part of my Customer Thank You Packs that I sent out in March. I love sending a little something to everyone that shops with me during the month. At the end of each month I make a batch of cards and a cute little something for each person who shopped with me during the month, including those who are part of my Birthday Card Club!

These particular treats use the Urban Underground Designer Series Paper and the Carousel Birthday stamp set (isn’t it fab that that stamp fits into the Decorative Label punch!). This paper is great for guy cards and projects but this dot felt more feminine to me and was perfect for these little gifts

Make It Monday Video Tutorial How to Make 6 Simple Thank You Cards using 1 sheet of Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week! I hope you have had a great weekend, I am in recovery mode after spending the weekend with my Stampin’ Sisters in Amsterdam (check out my Facebook / Instagram for what we got up to!)

I have a slightly different video tutorial for you today… making 6 cards from start to finish

Each month I make cards for my Customers as part of my Thank You packets. Everyone who shops with me receives a hand made card, along with a sweet treat and my monthly newsletter. I love sending these out, and they get even better when you use the Code Club Code! This special club starts a fresh each month, all you have to do to join in is add the monthly code at check out, and I will send you something special the following month!

I don’t usually give you measurements for cards, but I mentioned them in the video…. although I make cards in metric measurements (mainly because I use A4) so that is what I have put here

Measurements:

Card Base – Half A4, folded in half (I do this by taking a sheet of A4 and scoring on the short edge at 10.5 cm, and then cutting at 14.85 cm – this why I have scored and cut two cards at once)

Whisper White mat – 10 x 14.3 cm

Designer Series Paper – 9.5 x 13.8 cm

Whisper White stripe (which is the end of the piece of Whisper White when you’ve cut 4 pieces as above) – 1.2 x 10 cm

I love this Designer Series Paper…. so much that I have been guilty of hoarding it! However, as we approach the end of this years Annual catalogue it’s time to get that DSP used! This particular paper is Floral Boutique and it coordinates with the Floral Phrases stamp set (that also has coordinating dies!). This suite of products is just stunning and would make beautiful wedding stationary.

Right, that’s all for me today, I’m off to unpack and sort of laundry before I start back at the day job tomorrow!

3D Friday | Squishy Giftbag

I am loving 3D Friday, I hope you are too! I shared this giftbag project a while ago (it was for a Global Design Project Challenge!) but I realised last week that I never got round to filming the tutorial… so here it is!

This paper of Designer Series Paper has totally grown on me through the course of this years Annual Catalogue, I wasn’t sure fruit themed paper was really my thing, but I have found that I have used it a lot over the past 10 months! This particular pattern is my favourite, and so I have struggled to use it! But the next Annual Catalogue launch is quickly approaching and so I have started my mission to use up my left over Designer Series Paper!

Measurements:

Designer Series Paper: 12 x 6″ (30.5 x 15 cm)

Score on the long side at 3 3/4, 5 3/4, 9 1/2 and 11 1/2″ (9.5, 14.5, 24 and 29 cm)

Score on the short side at 1 1/2″ (4 cm)

Flirty Flamingo mat – 2 x 2 3/4″ (5 x 7 cm)

Whisper White layer – 1 3/4 x 2 1/2″ (4.5 x 6.5 cm)

This Designer Series Paper coordinates with the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set, which is where the stamped images are taken from.
