Make It Monday

Hello…. welcome to Make It Monday!

I have another 3D project for you this week, I am on a bit of a 3D item kick at the moment… I think it’s got something to do with the build up to the Autumn Winter Catalogue! (I have a whole stack of these in my Craft Room… let me know if you want one HERE!)

Make It Monday Gift Bag using Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

One of the things about making more 3D things is that I am also LOVING this years selection of Designer Series Papers…. these two in particular are some of my top picks; Naturally Eclectic and Be Merry. I have paired that lovely festive Be Merry paper with Christmas Pines and its coordinating die set. While the Naturally Eclectic version (made in the video) uses the Eclectic Layers thinlits and Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp set

Delightful Daisy Birthday Card

Happy Birthday Card using Delightlful Daisy and Happy Birthday Thinlit from Stampin' Up!

I have been feeling really rubbish recently, and have spend a LOT of time scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram in an attempt to stay crafty…. and in the process came across THIS card from Teneale Williams

Happy Birthday Card using Delightlful Daisy and Happy Birthday Thinlit from Stampin' Up!

This stylish card uses the pretty Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Happy Birthday Thinlit die. The card base is Sahara Sand, and I layered the Daisy Paper onto a piece of Whisper White Card stock to add some stability to it as it is popped up on Dimensionals. The Happy Birthday is die cut 3 times, twice in Daffodil Delight and once in Whisper White, all layered together for some more dimension! I loved Teneale’s uses of Vellum, it just adds a special soft something to this card. And the whole thing is finished with a linen thread bow!

Technique Series : Masking with Tape

Techniques Series Video Tutorial Masking Technique using Sticky note tape and Delightful Daisy from Stampin' Up!

Stamping Techniques Series

Hello! oh, I am loving doing Techniques Videos for you again! I have missed doing these, but things have recently changed with my day job (for the better!) leaving me more time to stamp, blog and spend time with you. I cannot wait!

This week I am continuing my Masking series, and this week we are looking at using tape as a mask. Did you see my card yesterday, which used the same technique….

StampinByHannah Technique Series Masking technique using Delightful Daisy from Stampin' Up!

As I discussed last week, I love masking as a technique, I think it’s because I LOVE a good bit of white space. This version of masking is super simple; using a piece of sticky note tape (or low tac masking tape, use what you have on hand!) to cover an area before stamping. Check out the video for all the details…

This card also uses a strip of that beautiful Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, along with the Daisy Delight stamp set. Now, I have a confession here: this stamp set coordinates (and comes bundled with the pretty Daisy Punch) however, it is currently not available, it’s just so popular Stampin’ Up! can’t keep it in stock! But, I don’t want you to miss this stamp set, yes there is a cost saving bundle, but it only saves you £3.25…. and you NEED the stamp set now! I will of course let you know when the punch is available again.

Techniques Series Video Tutorial Masking Technique using Sticky note tape and Delightful Daisy from Stampin' Up!

I hope you are loving this technique’s series as much as I am. I would LOVE to know what Techniques you would like me to explore, let me know in the comments below

One Sheet Wonder!

One Sheet Wonder using Fresh Florals from Stampin' Up!

I love crafting with my crafting friends…. we don’t get chance to get together very often, but I just LOVE it when we do. A few weekends ago we got together at a fabulously crafty retreat, and my lovely friend Heidi shared a great One Sheet Wonder project.

I had so much fun putting this project together, although the cutting was stressful!

We had a choice of colour, and I picked the beautiful Fresh Fig and the Thankful Thoughts Stamp set to make these fun cards

One Sheet Wonder using Fresh Florals from Stampin' Up!

This fabulous project uses just one sheet of Designer Series Paper and gives you 14 fabulous cards! but can you spot my mistake…. hadn’t noticed until I came to take the photographs! Oops!

I have a video on a very similar project from earlier in the year…. that you can find HERE where you can also find a full cutting guide PDF download too.

Short and sweet today… but don’t forget that you can find all the card stock and Designer Series Paper that I used here over on my webstore, and the links to the products are below!

Make It Monday | Square Bottomed Gift Bag

Make It Monday Square bottomed gift bag candles chocolate lipstick using A Whole Lot of Lovely from Stampin' Up!

Make It Monday

Hello! Welcome to this weeks Make It Monday!
A few weeks ago I attended a Crafty Retreat with 40 of my Stampin’ Sisters, and the next few Make It Mondays are things that have been inspired by project from that weekend. This particular project was inspired by a Swap I received from the lovely Jane Carroll.

Make It Monday Square bottomed gift bag candles chocolate lipstick using A Whole Lot of Lovely from Stampin' Up!

This fun mini gift bag starts off as a pretty standard bag, the trick is in the closing….. Instead of pinching the top, or punching a hole and threading some ribbon, the box is flattened. I have kept it closed with a staple, but you could us a clip or ribbon.

Measurements:

Designer Series Paper – 5 1/2 x 6″ (14 x 15.5 cm)

Score on the short side at: 1 1/4, 2 1/2, 3 3/4 and 5″ (3, 6, 9 and 12 cm)

Score on the long side at: 1 1/4″ (3 cm)

Make It Monday Square bottomed gift bag candles chocolate lipstick using A Whole Lot of Lovely from Stampin' Up!

The Designer Series Paper for the black bag is from A Whole Lot of Lovely, while the white one is Naturally Eclectic. The sentiment is taken from Lovely Inside and Out.

My favourite part of this bag though has to be those cute paper bows. They are super easy to create using the Bow Builder Punch; check the video for how I put them together. I do have a couple of tips though, I would use TomBow glue to stick them together (rather than the glue dots I used for speed in the video), and give the pieces time to dry before assembling the bow. Use a bone folder to create a natural bend in card stock, and use card stock rather than Designer Series Paper.

Make It Monday | Mini Chocolate Pouches

Pootles Papercraft Team Craft Retreat Swaps using Happy Birthday Gorgeous from Stampin' Up!

Make It Monday

Hello! I am super excited for this week at StampinByHannah…. I have BIG plans for the upcoming month, and we have a couple of totally AWESOME offers from Stampin’ Up! too

Pootles Papercraft Team Craft Retreat Swaps using Happy Birthday Gorgeous from Stampin' Up!

How cute are these?! I made 45 of these for my Stampin’ Sisters that attended our team Craft Retreat last weekend… I hope that they liked them. Actually I know that one of the recipients loved them – I made a few extra for some of the Pootles children, and one of them did a lovely video to say thanks (yes, it made me cry… a lot! but that’s me at the moment, very emotional, I’m putting it down to extreme stress….. hoping that is going to be over really soon…but that’s a completely different story!)

The actual swaps used the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper, but I think I have seen a little TOO MUCH of that paper recently and just couldn’t face making them again! So I have changed things up a bit for the tutorial and have used the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper instead…. Enjoy!

Just a quick video from me on this Monday…. but I have another 2 videos coming to you this week, so I hope that that makes up for it!

Measurements:

Designer Series Paper – 3 1/2 x 4 ” (9 x 10.5 cm)

Make It Monday

Hello! Well, this weekend was a busy one…. I have been away on a Team Crafty Retreat with my Stampin’ Sisters. I LOVE spending time with my crafty buddies, talking stamping, and making lots and lots of pretty things…. I will be sharing more of what we got up to later in the week, along with my little team swap!

Back to today, I have a quick video for you this week! I made a stack of these cute envelopes for the lovely ladies who shopped with me in May, I hope they arrived safely!

Make It Monday Video Tutorial How to make Cute Envelopes with the Envelope Punch Board from We are Memory Keepers using Delightful Daisy from Stampin' up!

Ok, so I have a confession to make…. I filmed this weeks ago, and I haven’t been able to post it because this fabulous Daisy Punch is currently out of stock! I hate showing you things that you can’t get your hands on…. but I have run out of filmed projects! I know, I know, I really need to get back on top of things this week…. Filming days already scheduled for Saturday! I hope that the punch will be back really soon… in the meantime though, the stamp set is available, as is that super pretty Designer Series Paper!

Sending Lots of Love

Sending Love card using Lots of Love and Colour Theory from Stampin' Up!

I have a super quick card for you today… I will admit that this week I have not been particularly organised, I am blaming the fact that I have had one random night shift at the day job AND that I am away on a team crafty retreat this weekend and so have been busy making swaps for the ladies who will be joining me on Saturday…. although I’m not sure that either is a particularly good excuse!

Sending Love card using Lots of Love and Colour Theory from Stampin' Up!

This card is another one of the samples I made for Stampin’ Up! OnStage Live in Amsterdam back in April. This is actually the very first card I made with my goodies and I love it! There is one gorgeous stamp set at work here – Lots of Love, that sentiment…. it just sings to me! So, the sentiment is stamped in Archival Basic Black ink, and then I have added the leave details in Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide.

The background of this card is Designer Series Paper taken from the Colour Theory paper stack. I am loving this pack of Designer Series Paper; it features four colours (Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim, and Old Olive) and a variety of paint effects including this fab crackle and some pretty ombre!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet today, please check back again tomorrow for a fabulous blog hop!
