Stamping Techniques Series

This week I have shared a heap of ways to use up your Designer Series Paper before the new Annual Catalogue lands in May… and today is no different. One of my favourite packs of Designer Series Paper this past year has been the Delightful Daisy. It is a fun take on a classic floral, with a hint of watercolour. Just lovely.

This card came together in less than 15 minutes… check the video for all the details. You can find my Standard Card Measurements on THIS page.

The Happy Birthday sentiment is taken from the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp set, which is also this month’s Stamp of the Month!

Thoughtful Thursday | New Home Card with Home Life from Stampin’ Up!

Congratulations on your new home card using Home Life from Stampin' Up!

StampinByHannah Thoughtful Thursday New Home Card with Home Life from Stampin’ Up!

Stampin' Up! UK Independent Demonstrator StampinByHannah Thoughtful Thursday

This week sees the end of my Thoughtful Thursday series (for now!) as I have something super exciting starting next Thursday with some fabulous Stampin’ Friends. Don’t worry I will still be bringing you my monthly One Little Word updates… and I’m going to incorporate some of the content into Mondays and Fridays too!

How to make a bright and fun New Home card with Stampin' Up! Home Life Stamp and Die Bundle

I’ve had a HEAP of friends and family move house recently, and New Home cards have been in high demand. Luckily I have the fabulous Home Life Stamp and Die bundle from Stampin’ Up! to make them really easy. Bundles are a great way to save some £££’s… as you save 10% over buying the stamps and dies separately. I shared another fabulous New Home card a few weeks ago…

The colour inspiration was taken from the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper pack. This pack of paper is a fun selection of Berry Burst, Dapper Denim, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, and it coordinates with those fun Glitter Enamel Dots too!

Fun New Home Card using Home life from Stampin' Up!

Stampin’ Up! is all about the coordinating products… it’s one of the many many reasons why I LOVE it! Stamps that match dies, that coordinate with fun Designer Series Paper, which use colours that we have in inks, and card stock, and ribbons and embellishments. Stampin’ Up! make making coordinated projects super easy!

Saying that… the 2018 Retiring list will be released on Monday, and I am 99% sure that most of the current Designer Series Papers will be on it. So if you like a pack, grab it sooner rather than later!

Inspire.Create.Challenges 015 – Quick and Easy Masculine Cards!

Fun Masculine card for Inspire.Create.Challenges using True Gentleman Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

StampinByHannah Inspire.Create.Challenges 015 – Quick and Easy Masculine Cards!

Inspire.Create.Challenges Masculine Challenge Card Making Papercraft

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a Theme… and it’s a Theme that I think a lot of us struggle with, cards for men! They are tricky to please, and they don’t want pink, or floral, or bows… and lets be honest, that’s a LOT of our crafting! However, Stampin’ Up! to the rescue again… with the True Gentleman suite!

How to make a fun Masculine Birthday Card using Truly Tailored from Stampin' Up!

This card was inspired by another card I have made recently (that I’ll be sharing with you very soon!). I have been really enjoying making men’s card with the True Gentleman suite, the stamps and Designer Series Paper just tie together so perfectly… don’t you LOVE it when products do that, makes crafting so easy!

The card base is in Sahara Sand, and the first layer is a sheet of Night of Navy card stock embossed using the Hexagons Embossing Folder. You can find my standard card making measurements HERE!

Cool Man's card using Truly Tailored from Stampin' Up!

There are 3 different pieces of Designer Series Paper at work here too… along with a circle of DIY Designer Series Paper (stamped using the Truly Tailored stamp set). The circles are all cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits, these dies are definitely at the top of my crafty MUST HAVE list, I use them SO often!

This card is finished with a trio of strips of Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon.

I would LOVE to see you masculine creations, join in with us at Inspire.Create.Challenges!

You’re Just Lovely with Oh So Eclectic

How to make a fun card using Oh So Eclectic from Stampin' Up!

StampinByHannah You’re Just Lovely with Oh So Eclectic

I have made SO many cards this with the Oh So Eclectic Stamp and Die Bundle! I LOVE the bundles in the catalogue, not only to they ensure you get stamps and dies that coordinate, they are also a great way to save cash! When you order a bundle (with its special order number) you save 10% over buying the items separately.

Fun ways to use Designer Series paper with StampinByHannah Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Yesterday I shared a fun way to use up some of those smaller scraps of Designer Series Paper. This card also uses Designer Series Paper, but you’re going to need a slightly bigger scrap. Good then that Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper comes in two sizes… most is 12 x 12″, while some is 6 x 6″… both are perfect for card making!

The Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set coordinates perfectly with the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper, as well as some other fun goodies…

Naturally Eclectic Suite…

You're So Lovely with Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

The flower in the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set matches the one in the Designer Series Paper perfectly, particularly when stamped in Peekaboo Peach. The sentiment is heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Just a quick heads up… we are due to get the Stampin’ Up! 2018 Retiring List this coming weekend (keep an eye on my Facebook Page for up to date news!)… but Designer Series Paper very rarely carries over… so if you love this paper as much as I do, I’d be grabbing it sooner rather than later as once that Retiring List goes live ALL items will go into While Stocks Last status… and I wouldn’t want you to miss out on your favourites!

Make It Monday Video Tutorial How to make a fun birthday card using Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Designer Series Paper Birthday Card

Make It Monday

This weeks Make It Monday video tutorial is the perfect card to make with the left overs from your April Stamp of the Month Club kit! This month’s kit features a heap of goodies from the Picture Perfect Birthday suite, and is perfect for making Birthday cards for all your friends and family! (yes, guys included!)

Quick and Easy Birthday Card Tutorial Using Picture Perfect Birthday from Stampin' Up!

I have made this style of card before, and its definately not a new idea… but it is PERFECT for using up those scraps of Designer Series Paper. This is the time of year I go into over drive mode using Designer Series Paper, with Stampin’ Up! OnStage just around the corner, and a new catalogue on the way. It’s time to clear those paper shelves in preparation for some fabulous new designs that are coming really soon!

This card (believe it or not) doesn’t rely heavily on set measurements… I would suggest measuring your scraps and going from there. But here are the measurements I have used:

Measurements:

Check out my new Standard Card Measurements Page for my card base measurements!

Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper;

  • 14.3 x 10 cm
  • 6 x 9.5 cm
  • 7.5 x 4.5 cm

Pool Party Card stock;

  • 6.5 x 10 cm
  • 8 x 5 cm
  • 4.5 x 6 cm

Whisper White Card Stock;

  • 5.5 x 4 cm

How to make a quick and easy Birthday Card using scraps of Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

The sentiment is taken from the coordinating Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set, and the finishing touch is a bow in Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon.

What’s your go to Card Style for Birthday cards?

This birthday card was inspired by the recent Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This fabulous group of super talented woman are just inspiring, and I just LOVE the projects they produce each and every month.

I made this card for one of my Stampin’ Besties’ for her Birthday last week. It uses the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set and coordinating Picture Perfect Party, which will also be the StampinByHannah Stamp of the Month for April. I had heaps of fun creating this one, and I might just have had a proper play with my new Stamparatus too! This fabulous new Stamp Positioning Tool (coming in June!) just makes lining up those two step stamped images just so easy!

How to create a fun birthday card using Picture Perfect Birthday from Stampin' Up!

This card features lots of lovely layers (my current crafting addition!)… with a corner of ink blending in Berry Burst with a hint of stamping over the top, Designer Series Paper and a heat Embossed Sentiment.
