An Oops!

Hello! So, I have a bit of an Oops! for you today… I had planned to restart my Christmas Countdown series this week. But, for several reasons I haven’t managed to get the video filmed and uploaded. This is partly down to my poor planning, but also, do you remember on Monday I promised a video, and that it’s also yet to be seen….. yeah, well, I’m having some upload issues. I should have them resolved over the weekend (when I’ve worked out what is going wrong) and I WILL have extra videos for you next week to make up for it! PROMISE!

An Update

I am SO excited, tomorrow is World Card Making Day! My favourite creative celebration! and I have 2 celebrations to remind you of….

Happy Mail!

I LOVE getting cute things in the post, and last week I received 2 gorgeous cards from some of my Stampin’ Sisters…. and I just HAD to share them with you too….

This lovely card was sent to me by the gorgeous Janice Thomson of Jazzle Dazzle crafts, as a Thank You for organising out Team Blog Hop a few weeks ago. I LOVE doing these, and Thank You cards are really not necessary, but it’s still always nice to get something through the post! Janice has used the Share What You Love Suite on this card… and one of my absolute favourite pieces of Designer Series Paper!

The second card came from Sam Roberts, of Sam’s Crafty Things. Sam shared a whole week of Thinking of You projects last week and I was so excited to receive one of them! This card uses the fun Pocket Card design from one of our Team Make and Takes from our retreat a few weeks ago, paired with this stunning paper from the Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper Pack. Just Lovely!

This week I’ve been sharing bits from our fabulous Team Crafting Retreat a few weeks ago. On Monday I shared the Swaps I received, and then Tuesday was the swaps I made. Today I want to share some of the other parts of our team events…

Obviously the weekend is dedicated to crafting. This time we had 5 fabulous make and take projects like this one from Pootles Papercraft.

I have to admit that I have only actually completed 2 of the 5 make and take projects…. I spend far too much time chatting and rarely get anything made at all (I’m even worse at official Stampin’ Up! events when we have just been given a new catalogue!).

This was the other make and take I completed. As well as my fabulous team leader Sam doing her make and take, we always have other demonstrators doing some teaching as well. This card was designed by one of our German team members, Tina, although I also have a version of this card from a few months ago.

As well as all the crafting fun this time we were also treated to a leadership dinner, SO much food (it’s been 2 weeks and I am still full!), and discussions around business topics such as blogging, classes and more.

Yesterday I shared the mountain of swaps I received from the lovely ladies in that photo at our recent Team Retreat in Manchester. Today, I thought I would share the swap I gave them!

I am a big believer in keeping things simple…. especially when you have to make 50 of something. So, I resized a fun box I shared a few weeks ago to fit a popular hazelnut filled chocolate

These cute little boxes are so quick and easy to make. In fact, I recently had to attend a train the trainer day as part of my day job where we had to teach each other a skill…. and I taught these! The other ladies where mesmerised as a flat sheet of paper became a fun and useful box!

These boxes use the fun Tea Room Speciality Designer Series Paper, as it’s a lighter weight that the standard Stampin’ Up! Paper it’s easier to create the fun origami folds of this box.

Well Hello! I am SO glad to be back blogging again this morning… wondering where I’ve been?! Well, I would love to say I’ve been sunning myself on some hot beach somewhere, but alas no… just struggling with a complete lack of crafty mojo! However, I managed to craft over the weekend, and find time to write some blog posts… and so here I am!

There are some changes coming to StampinByHannah this month as we start the new Stampin’ Up! year and I gear up for the massive challenge that I have set myself this year…. to earn the incentive trip! So, Starting this week I have a weekly Facebook Live planned, along with some other fun classes, clubs and more!

Before we get to that though I thought I would share what I got up to at a recent Stampin’ Up! Team Retreat…

We had THE most fabulous time, and I have a few projects and things to share with you from the weekend over this week.

Today I thought I would share all the wonderful Swaps I received…. Swapping is one of my favourite parts of Stampin’ Up! events. It’s a chance to get a mountain of inspiration in a snap, chat with other demonstrators and bond over your favourite Stampin’ goodies! Welcome to the Leadership Blog Hop… we are a group of 5 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who are currently working together to support our other Stampin’ Sisters (and brothers) while our Team Leader is away on the Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trip to Alaska!

I had heaps of ideas of what I could share with you today…. and then my day job took over this week, and actually getting something made in time provided a little too much. However, I still wanted to let you know about some of the fun things we do as Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!

Stampin’ Up! Events…

My favourite part of being a part of Stampin’ Up! is events…. of all kinds! Every 6 months Stampin’ Up! host a fabulous Demonstrator Exclusive event; OnStage! The next one is coming in November, but tickets go on sale next month. OnStage is SO much fun… we get to spend the day with hundreds of like-minded Demonstrators, get to see the next catalogue before anyone else, get to take home an exclusive bag full of products too!

Team Events…

BUT we also have team events! Our next team retreat is in September… and we have a jam packed weekend of crafting planned in a luxury hotel in Manchester! I am SO excited…. and more than a little nervous because I’ve managed to volunteer to present too! We also have heaps of Online events… with a busy Facebook group, videos, challenges and much more!

I’ll share the challenge I’ve set the team over on my Facebook Page next weekend…. Because if I share it with you now, it’ll spoil the surprise for them.

How do I continue to receive all the great benefits?

Stampin’ Up! do have a minimum that they do ask you to meet. However, it is very reasonable, just £225 per quarter. They don’t include the quarter that you join in, so if you sign up before the end of March (and so get those extra stamp sets as part of Sale-a-bration!) you have until the end of June to meet that minimum. PLUS Stampin’ Up! don’t mind if your only shopping for yourself, or if your selling to your family and friends, or if you holding great big classes… as long as that minimum is met.

What happens if I drop?

Nothing, Stampin’ Up! do not ask for anything back, I’m not about to come after you… you just return to being a customer rather than a member of the team. You do loose access to Team groups, Stampin’ Up! events, discounts and the other benefits to being a part of Stampin’ Up!

I don’t want to sell, blog or do parties, is that a problem?

No. I would LOVE to welcome you to the team whether you want to be a happy shopper or a business builder. We all love to craft and share… and that’s all that I ask! However, if you do decided to take Stampin’ Up! on as a business I will support you, offer advice and more. I have recently set up an email training series available to every team member when they join (or later on if they choose) to go through business basics, guide you around the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator website, and more…

Why October is THE month to join Stampin’ Up!

Grabbing a Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit is a great deal at any time of the year…. but this month is extra special!

It costs just £99…. but is fully customisible with £130 worth of Stampin’ Up! products AND includes a full business start up kit of catalogues, order forms and more! Of course, you don’t have to make Stampin’ Up! your business, you are more than welcome to be a happy shopper getting that 20% discount for yourself!

But why join in October….

1. Join before the 15th to get the chance to add some fun new products into your Starter Kit! Yes, Stampin’ Up! are launching Stampin’ Blends, fabulous Alcohol Markers…. these are currently available to Demonstrators ONLY but you can add them to your Starter kit before the 15th October.

2. Your first full quarter doesn’t end until 31st March 2018! There are minimums Stampin’ Up! require you to meet to remain a demonstrator…. You must sell (or spend, Stampin’ Up! doesn’t mind if it’s you shopping or your class of 50!) £225 per quarter. Stampin’ Up! split the year into 4 quarters, and ask you to meet your minimum in each one… however, they don’t count the quarter you join in…. So if you join today you don’t have to worry about minimums until March!

3. October is the start of the Stampin’ Up! year…. so by joining this month you get a full 12 months to earn a heap of free goodies, trips and more!
