Hello! I love Make It Monday…. and I love it even more when it’s a quick and easy project like this one.
I love a cute note book, so handy for your handbag… although my husband rips the covers off and keeps them in his work uniform pocket!
See, I told you they were easy! This is one of those projects that Stampin’ Up! make super easy with coordinating card stock and Designer Series Paper. Here I have used the Eastern Palace suite – I am still totally in love with this DSP! or maybe its those new In-Colours….. or the dies! oh, I just love it all!
Measurements:
Card stock – 3 x 5″ (7.5 x 12.5 cm)
Score on the long side at 4 and 4 1/8″ (10.2 and 10.7 cm)

Hello! long time no see… totally my fault of course, but I am back this week with my Make It Monday video and some fabulous sneak peak projects from the upcoming Annual Catalogue
I had loads of fun making this card, which is good really seeing as I have ended up making the exact same card 3 times… I explain why in the video
Top tips for creating fun backgrounds using small stamps:
use stamps of different sizes, stamping the larger stamps first and using smaller stamps to fill the gaps
choose whether you are looking for a regular pattern like I have for this card, or something more random
Stamp the same stamps in the same colours, but make sure that there are different colours across the stamped piece…. this card would look very different if all the stamping was in the same colour
The fabulous Eastern Palace bundle offer is still available too. These 2 exclusive bundles will end on the 31st May, although the items can also be found in the new catalogue, the bundles wont be.
I am also offering a FREE Online Card Class for anyone who purchases either of these bundles. You can find all the details for those over on my Online Card Class page.

Hello! I hope you have some fun plans for this bank holiday Monday… I’m hoping for some crafty time in my craft room, but unfortunately cleaning has to come first today!
I have something really exciting to share with you this week…. as I am sure you are already aware Stampin’ Up! are gearing up to launch the Brand New 2017-2018 Annual catalogue on the 1st June! I have had my hands on this one for almost a month now, and it is fantastic! I cannot wait for you to see what is inside. However, to celebrate the launch, we have a fabulous pre-order opportunity for you! Stampin’ Up! have released a whole suite of products a month early…. giving you the chance to pre-order too!
I am loving playing with the new stamps and dies in this suite, and have a whole weeks worth of projects using it for you this week. The early release of these great products comes in two exclusive bundles, each of which include FREE products!
As it is Make It Monday I do of course have a video for you today, hopefully explaining the whole thing!
The Premier Bundle offers a further opportunity; its £94 plus postage and packing of £4.95….. why not grab the Stampin’ Up! Starter kit for £99 and get a host of other benefits too. The Starter kit contains £130 worth of products of your choice (so, add your Premier Bundle and £36 worth of other goodies) comes with FREE postage and packing, and gives you 20% off all Stampin’ Up! purchases during your membership! and you will also get your hands on the new catalogue before anyone else, and get to participate in the pre-order that starts on 2nd May too. What are you waiting for… you can grab your Starter Kit HERE!
This card is my April Customer Thank You gift. From June I am changing my Customer Thank You system slightly. You will continue to receive a handmade card, but I will also be sending you a pack of paper craft project tutorials via email when you order… more about that soon!
I love a clean and simple card… with lots of white space (or Very Vanilla in this case). This card is super simple to make, with only two colours; Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide, along with the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set and Eastern Medallion Thinlits dies

Hello! Welcome to another Make It Monday here at StampinByHannah! I have a great card project for you this week, along with a quick, simple and fun technique using heat embossing!
I found this card on Jennifer McGuires Blog a few weeks ago, and thought it looked simple enough! So I had a go….
The background on this card was almost a piece of Designer Series Paper… but with the Retiring List, lots of papers have already sold out and I didn’t want to share something you might not be able to get! So, instead I created by own DSP using the Playful Backgrounds stamp set, stamped in Emerald Envy and Early Espresso.
The sentiment is the main focus of this card. To create the Faux Shadow effect the sentiment is first stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with clear powder. Then, and this is where a stamp positioning tool like the Stamp-a-ma-jig is super helpful, you stamp again but offset it slightly, heat emboss again in a colour…. and as if by magic it looks super dimensional! Awesome!
The Sentiment is also on a die cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies (I LOVE these!) to give it a little extra something!
I hope you love my card project today, don’t forget to check out the video for more details about the technique.

Happy Bank holiday Monday! I hope you are all planning a lovely relaxing day, I am of course off to work today… the joys of working in Social Care! However, just because it is a bank holiday doesn’t mean that I haven’t made you a fun Make It Monday video, I hope you enjoy this one, I had loads of fun making it!
I was totally inspired by a sample I found on Pinterest, it used a totally different die set, but the idea of using swirly dies as flowers stuck. Swirly Bird currently comes bundles with the Swirly Scribbles dies (to save you 10%) but this bundle retires on the 31st May… you will still be able to get both the stamps and dies, but you won’t be getting that fabulous discount. You can check the Retiring list now, and don’t forget to use my Code Club Code for something extra special too!
Measurements:
Rose Red Card stock: half an A4 sheet, folded in half (21 x 14.8 cm, scored at 10.5 cm)
Whisper White: 10 x 14.3 cm
The Happy Birthday sentiment comes from Butterfly Basics (another set I am excited to see carry over into the new Annual Catalogue!), I love the mixture of fonts on this one…. I am such a sucker for a good font… especially when it’s stamped in pink!

Welcome to Make It Monday! I was looking at what I could film for this weeks Make It Monday video tutorial, and I realised that I hadn’t looked at any techniques for a while, and seeing as this is one of my favourites, I thought I would share it again today!
As regular readers will be well aware I love a spot of Watercolouring! and for me that is any technique that mixes ink and water. This card was totally inspired by a card in the most recent edition of Stampin’ Success – the exclusive Demonstrator magazine (one of the many benefits of being part of Stampin’ Up!), and I used the same colour combination; Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo and Basic Black.
One of the most important things to remember when using ink and water in your card making, it getting the right card stock. Stampin’ Up! have 3 great options; watercolour paper, Thick Whisper White card stock, and Shimmery White card stock – which is what I have used here. Shimmery White has glitter embedded in it, and it is so pretty in real life but its tricky to pick up in photos.
Thanks for checking out my Make It Monday post this week. Do check back to my blog tomorrow for the start of something really cool!
Don’t forget to shop using the Code Club Code to receive some great FREE product!

I was asked a question about this card a few weeks ago, and I realised that although this video has been on my to film list for months I hadn’t got round to filming it! I had great fun playing with the Carousel Birthday stamp set before OnStage last November, and even more fun when I realised that the ferris wheel stamp matches two of the circle dies from the Layering Circles perfectly!
I hope you enjoy the video… and do let me know if there is something else you would like to see. I love talking to you all about my creations, and would LOVE to see what you have made with this stamp set!
The Carousel Birthday stamp set coordinates with the Lift Me Up! Stamp and die bundle… particularly those cute cupcakes.
Right, that’s it from me for today, I have managed to write this blog post in the car…. and I’m starting to struggle with a touch of car sickness!

Oh yes, It is Monday! I hope the start to your week is made slightly more awesome by my Make It Monday Video! My week starts with hopefully a whole lot of sleep as I am on night shifts for a couple of nights (not very happy about it really… but needs must!). However, one of the great things about my little corner of the internet and my business is that my web-store is open 24/7, so even though as this goes live I will be ready for my bed, my shop is still open and ready for your orders…. I love that!
I sent these out to ladies and gentlemen who shopped with me during February (I am hoping that they have either arrived or should be arriving today!). I love sending out a little something to my customers, I hope you enjoy receiving them too!
This card is a great way to use up those bits of Designer Series Paper left over after you’ve cut card fronts or pieces for scrapbook pages out of it. I have used strips of Designer Series Paper that vary in size from 2.5 x 10 cm to 1 x 8 cm, but really you could use whatever you have in your scrap bin!
The Grateful stamp comes from the Designer Tin of cards stamp set… which I love but seem to forget to use! it’s got some lovely sentiments and font though….
This Designer Series Paper is called Urban Underground; its a lovely combination of Basic Black, Basic Grey and Delightful Dijon on a base of Very Vanilla and contains some lovely patterns. Although it is designed with those tricky men’s cards in mind I know you could get some more feminine cards out of it too. Actually while I’m talking about cards; my current Online Card Class uses this paper to make 6 great Men’s cards and you get a Sale-a-bration item of your choice for joining in… you can find all the info on my Online Card Class page, or by clicking the image below

Oh, I am so excited for this week! Tomorrow is the launch of 3 brand new and fabulous Sale-a-bration freebies!!! They are all so gorgeous, and I cannot wait to see what you make with them. I spent an afternoon last week making a whole heap of these cards using the new Glimmer Paper to make a bunch of cards for my lovely customers.
This new Glimmer Paper comes in 6 x 6 sheets, you get 12 sheets in 3 gorgeous colours for FREE when you spend £45 on Stampin’ Up! goodies. The colours in this pack are Bermuda Bay, Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron and they coordinate beautifully with the Special Reason stamp and die bundle, as well as the Succulent Garden suite and Falling in Love Designer Series Paper. Speaking of Special Reason, this is my current Online Card Class, and you could choose this new Glimmer Paper as your class freebie when you join me in class too!
These cards are an edited version of one of the cards on the front of the new Sale-a-bration leaflet. I have sent out a bunch of these, but if you don’t have one there will be one available to download from my blog tomorrow when it goes live!
These cards were do fun to make, but I did have a totally disaster along the way! I had managed to put 3 of them together before my favourite Fast Fuse adhesive ran out! I had no idea I was so short of glue, and I don’t use non-Stampin’ Up! adhesives anymore (why would I, I’m saving 25% every time I buy it!), so I was so shocked when I checked in my back-up that there was a great big gap where my Fast Fuse refils usually sit! I shared this with the girls in the team, and they all found it hilarious that I was basically trying to make cards without glue! Although they did give me some great suggestions of alternatives! So, these cards were put together with a combination of Snail, Glue Dots and Tombow!
