So, for those of you who have never been here before, Hi! I’m Hannah and I live in Stockton-on-Tees, in the North East of England. I was thinking about a good way of describing Stockton-on-Tees and struggled slightly, but some pretty cool things have be invented here including the Friction Match, it is the site of the first public railway, and where the second series of Benefit Street was filmed. I think that’s enough about where I live…..
This card is actually a CASE of myself! When I went to make a card for this totally cool blog hightlight thingy I really struggled to come up with anything (I’m really fighting with crafters block at the moment, I’m blaming working 44 hours a week as a nurse on a dementia unit, I’m just really tired!). So, I was in my craft room a few days ago, starting to panic about not having anything made yet, and I spotted THIS card from a blog hop a few months ago sat on the card display, and so I thought I would make it again!
I love getting inky, and so this technique is one of my favourites, there are actually four colours in ink blended on this this card; Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Rose Red, and then I used Sahara Sand to tone the PINK down a little.
The little pieces of Designer Series Paper are scraps from English Garden, layered along with a piece of the gorgeous white Metallic Glitter tape from Sale-a-bration.
