Stampin' Up! Flower Fields Sale-a-bration Card

I’m loving this years Sale-a-bration event. I really must day ‘Thanks’ to each and every person who has chosen to shop with me for the first time this year, I had a bumper January, and am hoping that this year is going to be awesome. I always send Thank You cards to those who choose to shop with me, with an extra special something for people who use my Code Club Code. Stampin' Up! Flower Fields Sale-a-bration Card

This card uses one of my Sale-a-bration favourites, Flowering Fields. Stamped in Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry, with a piece of the coordinating Designer Series Paper Wildflower Fields.

The ‘Hello’ is from the Tin of Cards stamp set; I’m loving this font! I’m a sucker for a good font, and Stampin’ Up! are really knocking it out of the park with typefaces at the moment, just stunning. The Hello is stamped in Rich Razzleberry on a piece of Whisper White punched out with the 1 1/4″ circle punch. I’ve done a bit of punch layering (unusual for me) with a 1 3/8″ Old Olive circle and a Rich Razzleberry Scallop Circle in the 1 3/4″ size. Very pretty

Pootlers Sale-a-bration Blog Hop!

Oh yes, its that time again! Time for a Pootler’s blog hop. This week we are celebrating the launch of Sale-a-bration – the biggest promotion of the year – where Stampin’ Up! gives you a free gift for each and every £45 you spend! (in one order!). I will admit that thought I organise the Pootler’s blog hops, this time for me it has all been a bit of a mad rush. Over the 2 weeks of Christmas I managed to get 3 days off, and so my business has had to take a bit of a back seat. However, things are slowly getting back to normal, and with the launch of the latest catalogue and start of Sale-a-bration I’m all yours again.

This card features two of the Sale-a-bration products for this year. The Designer Series Paper is called Wildflower Fields. I love the colour combination of this paper, Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Calypso Coral, Hello Honey and Old Olive, just gorgeous! I featured this paper last week as well, during my Sneak Peek feature, as I included some samples of it in my customer catalogues.

The Hello is taken from one of the limited time products also called Hello, only available until 15th February, this adorable stamp set would be perfect for children’s birthdays or new babies.

I’ve added a few sequins from the Brights Sequin Assortment that the lovely Sam (aka: Pootles) sent me last month, not only are they great colours (of course!) but there are several different shapes of sequins in the pack, circles, hearts and stars. And who doesn’t love a couple of sequins!

Sale-a-bration Sneak Peak – Day 3

Sale-a-bration is the biggest event on the Stampin’ Up! calender, its a great time for both Customers and team members to earn a heap of free goodies just for shopping! This year there are 11 products to choose from, with 3 leaving us early around Valentines day (but I know that there are some more to come!). Each time you spend £45 you get to choose one of these great items, but it gets better, because if you spend £90, you get to pick 2 products! and 3 items if you spend £135! Awesome!

This cute card uses both sides of the same Designer Series Paper, Wildflower Fields, one of the items you could choose for free! I’ve been sending a sample of this paper out with my catalogues this year (use the Get a Catalogue button if you still haven’t got one!).

Sale-a-bration Sneak Peak – Birthday edition

Before Sale-a-bration launches on Tuesday, I have a couple of sneak peak cards featuring one of the packs of Designer Series Paper that you can earn for FREE when you spend £45 between January 5th and 31st March 2016

Stampin' Up! UK Wildflower fields birthday Sale-a-bration

This paper is super pretty, the pack contains 12 Sheets, 2 of each of 6 designs, of 12 x 12 papers, and features some of my favourite colours. I love using Designer Series paper for colour inspiration, and this pack is going to inspire me for a while I think; I’m loving the colour combination; Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive and Whisper White.

The sentiment is taken from the same Suite Sayings stamp set as yesterday. This set is available in the Spring / Summer catalogue, which launches on 5th January 2016.

I’m really pleased with the way the bow turned out on this one. I adore the Bow Builder Punch, but it can be a little awkward to assemble. I usually use Mini Glue Dots to make the bow, but this time I made the effort and took the time to use Tombow glue, it was so worth it. It takes longer to use a wet glue, as you have to hold the pieces together until they are stuck, but the bow is less bulky, and super pretty once its done.

I’m Back!

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and saw the New Year in safely. I decided to take 2 weeks off over the Christmas / New Year period this year, as my day job goes completely crazy over this time (I’ve managed to get 3 days off in the last 2 weeks), but I’m back to regular posting from Monday.

Over the weekend I have a series of 3 posts featuring some of the new Sale-a-bration papers, a sample of which I have been putting into my catalogues before mailing (I still have some left, please use the Get a Catalogue button if you want one!) and thought I would give you some ideas of how to use them!

Stampin' Up! UK WildFlower Fields Designer Series Paper Sale-a-bration 2016

The Designer Series Paper is called Wildflower Fields, and its one of the 11 items you can earn for FREE by spending £45 between 5th January and 31st March 2016. I have only used a tiny piece of it on this card, but I have two other cards coming over the weekend which feature a little more. The banner was cut using the Triple Banner Punch.

The stamp is also new, its from the Spring / Summer catalogue and is called Suite Sayings, I’m in love with this one, it features a great host of different sentiments, but they all coordinate with other stamp sets in the catalogue! Awesome!
