In Colour Card Ideas… and a video!

Hey folks! Not only do I have a couple of fun card ideas, I am super excited to be sharing a video with you today. I asked on my Facebook page earlier in the week about whether you would like to see some random Facebook Lives, or regular video uploads, and the opinion was pretty mixed! So, I’ve decided that I’ll film when I can, and if I get in the odd Facebook Live too then that great! Anyway, yesterday James was home and so was able to look after Niamh for a little bit while I made today’s cards and video.

Simple Designer Series Paper card using Bloom and Grow from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I have seen this type of card a couple of times recently, and I thought it was such a great way to share the new In Colour Designer Series Paper with you! I love the patterns in this years colour family Designer Series Paper stacks. They are just so easy to use. Each colour family, plus both sets of In Colours have a pack, all with the same patterns, and I might just have to have them all!

The sentiment on this first card (yes, I have 2 for you today!) is from Bloom and Grow. I am in LOVE with this stamp set, I can’t decide if its the pretty florals or the sentiments that’s getting my vote, but I can’t put it away none the less!

This card comes together really quickly, after you’ve done a bit of die cutting with the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I’ve matted it all on a card base of Terracotta Tile, and then matched the stamping and the Faceted Dot Embellishment.

Card Ideas Video

The second card uses the same idea as the first, but I’ve stepped it up a bit and paired it with the Well Said stamp set and Well Written dies. These have only recently found their way into my craft room, but I have to say I am loving using them!

Needlepoint Nook Double Fronted Card | Facebook Live

This week’s Facebook Live is a bit of a waffle-y one… I’ll warn you from the get go! But I’m super happy with the card, so I hope that you enjoy!

I’ve got a few things going on at the moment; 2 fabulous card classes in March and my Stash Builder Club too… so before we jump to the video I thought I would give you a quick over-view

  1. March Card Class using Needlepoint Nook launches tomorrow! So check back to the blog for that!
  2. My March Facebook Live Online Card Class launched earlier in the week. I am super excited about this one, I have 5 fun cards already made using the Painted Seasons Bundle from the Sale-a-bration 2nd Release that I cannot wait to share with you. There are 2 options for this class; either Class only, or class and cardstock pack. Check out THIS blog post for all the information!
  3. Stash Builder Club… I LOVE this club. I did it a couple of years ago, and was reminded about it yesterday! Needlepoint Nook Double Fronted Card using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

This fun fold, Double Fronted Card is super easy to make and is a lovely way to Jazz up a special card.

Measurements:

Highland Heather Card Base: 21 x 14.85 cm, scored at 10.5 cm. This is a standard sized card using A4 card stock, then cut 5 cm off one side

Very Vanilla: 20.5 x 14.3 cm, scored at 10.25 cm (or just folded in half!)

Sale-a-bration | Facebook Live

Oh yes, it’s Sunday, and that only means on thing here at StampinByHannah…. it’s Facebook Live Day!

Cute Notecard using Hello Cupcake Stamp Set FREE during Sale-a-bration from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This week I thought I would take the opportunity to recap this year’s Sale-a-bration offers… and make 3 cards using the Hello Cupcake Stamp set.

This first card was my attempt at #simplestamping. I think this card would make a great quick make for that neighbours birthday you’ve forgotten, or change the sentiment for a fun Thank you or Just because card for your milkman or UPS man!

The second card was a slightly stepped up version of that cute note card. I swapped the card base for Mint Macaron Card Stock and added a layer of Very Vanilla. If you want to know my card measurements, I almost always us the same, you can find the over on my Standard Card Measurements Page.

Facebook Live

I mentioned in the video there are 3 parts to Sale-a-bration:

  1. Shop – Ever time you spend £45 (on anything on the Stampin’ Up! website) between now and the end of March, you earn a Sale-a-bration credits which you can swap in for fun Stamp Sets like the cute Hello Cupcake Set I used today. The 3rd card is further stepped up, with a fussy cut cupcake and embossed circle… but it’s not quite as stepped up and my original design which also has Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and a heat embossed sentiment.
