Good Morning Magnolia Thanks Card and video!

Hey folks! Like I said, I have a few blog posts coming to you today, this one does include a fabulous hand stamped card and a video tutorial too using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.

Thanks you card using Good Morning Magnolia from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I have been having heaps of fun with the Magnolia Lane Suite, and have 2 fun events using it coming in the month of July! I’ll be telling you all about one of them this afternoon and then if you live locally to me keep watching for Sunday’s blog post!

Good Morning Magnolia Card Tutorial

This stamp and die bundle is stunning! Bundles are an awesome way to save some cash, as when you grab a bundle, rather than the stamps and dies separately, you save 10%.

Pretty Pink Thanks card using Good Morning Magnolia from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

One of my favourite ways to really make a card special is to use a few layers, and this card demonstrates that perfectly! So, we have…. Designer Series Paper, stamping, die cuts, ribbons and a punched sentiment piece. Of course, you could go further and add rhinestones or sequins too!

Also, how cool are these colour combinations? The blue version is Seaside Spray, Night of Navy and Blueberry Bushel, while the pink one is Rococo Rose and Lovely Lipstick. I LOVE that the two sets of In Colours coordinate this year, actually the new In Colours coordinate very well with lots of the permanent Stampin’ Up! ink colours.

A Shabby Chic Card with Free as a Bird…

Hey Folks! I’ve got a slightly different style of card for me today (and another video… Yes! That’s 2 in less than a week!). I do love playing around with ink, whether that’s stamping, watercolouring, ink blending… etc.

Free as a Bird Card video tutorial using Bird Ballard from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I’ve been having an absolute blast crafting with my June Crafty Selections kit. This fun monthly kit contains a wonderful mix of Designer Series Paper, embellishments and more, and comes with a jam packed sheet of inspiration too!

You can get all the details about this month’s Crafty Selection Box HERE. Booking for this month’s box closes on Wednesday at midnight, and I would hate for you to miss out.

I’ve added a couple of bits to this months kit to create this card, in particular the Free and a Bird stamp and die bundle. I just can’t get enough of these birds, the are stunning simply stamped on their own, but really start to sing when they are coloured. This time I’ve used Blends, but I have a plan to watercolour them soon too!

Shabby Chic friend card using Free as a Bird from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The Stitched Nested Labels Dies are definitely a new favourite in my craft room. They’ve started to appear on a whole lot of projects, and I can see them being a staple for a long time to come!

In Colour Card Ideas… and a video!

Hey folks! Not only do I have a couple of fun card ideas, I am super excited to be sharing a video with you today. I asked on my Facebook page earlier in the week about whether you would like to see some random Facebook Lives, or regular video uploads, and the opinion was pretty mixed! So, I’ve decided that I’ll film when I can, and if I get in the odd Facebook Live too then that great! Anyway, yesterday James was home and so was able to look after Niamh for a little bit while I made today’s cards and video.

Simple Designer Series Paper card using Bloom and Grow from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I have seen this type of card a couple of times recently, and I thought it was such a great way to share the new In Colour Designer Series Paper with you! I love the patterns in this years colour family Designer Series Paper stacks. They are just so easy to use. Each colour family, plus both sets of In Colours have a pack, all with the same patterns, and I might just have to have them all!

Quick and simple In Colour Designer Series Paper card and video tutorial with Stampin' Up! and StampinByHannah

The sentiment on this first card (yes, I have 2 for you today!) is from Bloom and Grow. I am in LOVE with this stamp set, I can’t decide if its the pretty florals or the sentiments that’s getting my vote, but I can’t put it away none the less!

This card comes together really quickly, after you’ve done a bit of die cutting with the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I’ve matted it all on a card base of Terracotta Tile, and then matched the stamping and the Faceted Dot Embellishment.

Card Ideas Video

The second card uses the same idea as the first, but I’ve stepped it up a bit and paired it with the Well Said stamp set and Well Written dies. These have only recently found their way into my craft room, but I have to say I am loving using them!

In Colour Happy Birthday Card using Well Said from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The 5 new In Colours work so well as a colour combination, they really are a great addition to your crafty stash. I have a fun In Colour Club about to start and there are a couple of places left! You can find out all the details and sign up HERE. Booking closes tomorrow night (15th June) and midnight.

Sale-a-bration | Facebook Live

Oh yes, it’s Sunday, and that only means on thing here at StampinByHannah…. it’s Facebook Live Day!

Cute Notecard using Hello Cupcake Stamp Set FREE during Sale-a-bration from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This week I thought I would take the opportunity to recap this year’s Sale-a-bration offers… and make 3 cards using the Hello Cupcake Stamp set.

This first card was my attempt at #simplestamping. I think this card would make a great quick make for that neighbours birthday you’ve forgotten, or change the sentiment for a fun Thank you or Just because card for your milkman or UPS man!

Handmade Birthday Card using Hello Cupcake from Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration 2019 with StampinByHannah

The second card was a slightly stepped up version of that cute note card. I swapped the card base for Mint Macaron Card Stock and added a layer of Very Vanilla. If you want to know my card measurements, I almost always us the same, you can find the over on my Standard Card Measurements Page.

Facebook Live

I mentioned in the video there are 3 parts to Sale-a-bration:

  1. Shop – Ever time you spend £45 (on anything on the Stampin’ Up! website) between now and the end of March, you earn a Sale-a-bration credits which you can swap in for fun Stamp Sets like the cute Hello Cupcake Set I used today. There are 2 items that require 2 credits, or a £90 spend at the back of the Sale-a-bration booklet
  2. Host – Earn extra Stampin’ Rewards when you spend over £200 or host a party that spends over the same amount
  3. Join – Become a part of Stampin’ Up!, choose £170 worth of goodies and pay just £99 (or spend an extra £26 and get the GORGEOUS Craft and Carry Tote too!) and then get at least 20% discount on all purchases, take part in team events (like yesterday’s Blog Hop) or just be a happy shopper!

The 3rd card is further stepped up, with a fussy cut cupcake and embossed circle… but it’s not quite as stepped up and my original design which also has Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and a heat embossed sentiment.

Christmas Countdown Video Tutorial Series StampinByHannah Stampin' Up! UK

I am in LOVE with the November exclusive goodies at the moment! I am a bit of a sucker for anything winter-y stamp set with snowflakes anyway, but these stamp sets are just so stunning. If you haven’t checked them out yet you totally should, but bear in mind that they are While Stocks Last so grab them before they disappear

Christmas Countdown Non traditional Christmas tags using Snow is Glistening from Stampin' Up!

I whipped 6 of these cute tags in a very short space of time last week, and filmed a tutorial for you to. These are destined for a few special Christmas presents for some very special people. Christmas this year is going to be very low key in our house with our house move and baby on the way, however I will be spoiling my husband with presents as he has the awful job of working night shifts all over the festive period.

The colours here are not what I would consider traditional colours, however I still think these feel very festive.

What festive makes are you making these year?

Make It Monday | Quick and Simple with Rooted in Nature

Quick and Simply Just for You Card with a tree using Rooted in Nature from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Quick and Simple with Rooted in Nature

Make It Monday banner

I love a quick and simple card, one that you can whip up in a snap, one that looks good no matter what stamp set you use (as long as it a Stampin’ Up! set, obviously!), and one that you can use for a multitude of different occasions. I think that this card fits that bill.

I have been having loads of fun using the Nature’s Poem Suite this month, while it’s my fabulous Suite Share! You can still get your share HERE! My suite shares change every month and feature a fun mix of Designer Series Paper, Card stocks, ribbons and embellishments, and while the stamps and dies aren’t included as standard you can, of course, add them as an extra.

This card had a lovely colour combination; Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite and Mossy Meadow, with a Whisper White base. Colours are super important when your making simple cards like this one, sticking to a handful of colours is an easy way of keeping things simple, coordinated and fresh.
