StampinByHannah Bright Floral Abstract Impressions Card
I had a really fun crafty weekend last weekend. I don’t get chance to just craft very often, but this Saturday I took all day… just to craft and play with stamps. Saying that, I did film a number of videos too, but when you think I didn’t really have much made before I started on Saturday morning, the day was really quite productive!
This card was really fun, and super quick to make! I think this layout would be great for a quick birthday card too….
The Abstract Impressions Stamp Set really lends itself to some random stamping, which is what I have done here in 3 colours. The flower image has 3 stamped layers, each one randomly stamped, pretty haphazardly over the previous. The colours here are: Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody and Grapefruit Grove (for a fruity theme!). To cut the diagonal section, I used a standard sized layer for stamping, and then cut a random diagonal line using my Stampin’ Trimmer. Then, I used the lines on the trimmer to cut another 2 cm off the bottom piece.
The layers were then lined up on a piece of Whisper White, and the sentiment stamped, before the stamped pieces were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Abstract Impressions is also available bundled with the fabulous Springtime Impressions dies. I shared THIS card using the bundle a few weeks ago.
