This week the fabulous Design Team over at Inspire.Create are sharing a whole load of Sale-a-bration inspiration. I’ve been struggling to come up with anything for this one… which is silly because the Sale-a-bration goodies on offer this year are AWESOME! I eventually settled on using the ever so pretty Lovely Lattice stamp set, although did have a disaster with Brusho before this card was born!
The Lattice stamp was stamped twice in Versamark onto Crumb Cake cardstock and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss powder. I then coloured 3 of the flowers on one of the images with Watercolour Pencils, and added some green leaves on the other image.
I have to admit that these flowers are not the easiest to fussy cut, however I think it’s worth it for the overall effect.
The card is finished with a sentiment stamped on Vellum and punched using the Classic Label punch, a trio of Glitter Enamel dots and full bow of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

It has been AGES since I took part in one of Kylie’s International Blog Highlights, and I’ve really missed it! I’m just recovering my full crafty mojo and blogging rhythm after having a (more than) pretty rough early pregnancy, moving house and Christmas, and so Kylie’s theme of Encouragement was just right up my street!
I am LOVING the Foil Sheets that are FREE during Sale-a-bration this year. You get 8 12×12″ sheets, 4 in Lovely Lipstick and 4 in Grapefruit Grove. It’s so pretty I can’t bring myself to cover it up, so here I’ve used it as part of the focal point of this card.
The card only uses 3 colours, because I really wanted that foil sheet to sing. So the whole card is just Lovely Lipstick, Basic Black and Whisper White.
The sentiment is taken from the stamp set Amazing Life, and it has been heat embossed in White onto a scrap of Basic Black. I love this look for cute little sentiments, it really makes the sentiment pop!
This card is finished with a bow in Lovely Lipstick ribbon and a trio of Glitter Enamel Dots
If you love this card, please would you pop over to Kylie’s blog and vote for me, and your other favourite Encouragement creations over on the Blog Highlight. Thank you so much.

One of my favourite things about being a part of Stampin’ Up! is being a part of a fabulous group of like minded people. As a team we have so much fun together, not just when we get together at team and Stampin’ Up! events, but all year around on our Facebook groups. As a team we organise regular events including our recent Blog Hops (for the launch of the Spring Summer Catalogue, and the start of Sale-a-bration!) but also a fun card swap!
Card swaps are usually a BIG part of in person events, but because we only get together a few times a year, we often arrange extra ones to share our creativity and spark someone else’s imagination. Recently, we did a swap based on the new catalogue, I hope to share the cards I received with you soon, but today I thought I’d share the card I sent out
I made 6 of these cards, and they came together surprisingly quickly! Partly due to the fact that I can be pretty organised when it comes to mass producing cards, but also because this stamp and die set has a couple of clever features! The trio of flowers are stamped with one stamp, and die cut with one die, so they are super quick. Also the pretty label, takes two steps, the die collection has a die which cuts the stitched marks, but its actually cut out with a punch! Awesome!
Video Tutorial
My favourite part of this suite though is the fun stitched details. A few of the dies have stitched marks on, and you guys know how much I love a stitched die! But also the stamps and Designer Series Papers also feature pretty stitched details, and actually look like you’ve hand stitched your projects… just with a stamp!
One thing though, this is a stamp set that requires a gentle application of ink, as if you over ink you’re at risk of loosing that pretty stitched details. I would suggest stamping onto some grid paper to get your hand in before you stamp onto your projects with this one!
Want to join in with our next team card swap? All you need to do is join our fabulous team! Sale-a-bration is a great time to grab a Starter Kit and join Stampin’ Up! with a kit that costs you just £99 but allows you to choose £170 worth of Stampin’ Up! goodies, or you could choose a kit that costs £125 and gives you a fabulous Craft tote bag too! You can find out more about joining during Sale-a-bration HERE, or you can join right NOW!

I am in love with the cute Hey Love stamp set, and these adorable Treat bags which Stampin’ Up! have featured as a You Can Make It in the Spring Summer Catalogue. I love these You Can Make It ideas; quick and easy makes complete with a shopping list! Awesome! You can find them in each catalogue, or HERE in my Stampin’ Up! webstore
The shopping list for these cute bags can be found at the bottom of this post, but I have also added a few extra goodies that I used to make these my own.
The cute Gorilla (now known as Paul!) is really easy to colour with Stampin’ Blends. Actually, there are only two colours of Blends pens used on this treat bags; Light Smoky Slate and Light Flirty Flamingo. To add dimension each Paul is outlined first with the Smoky Slate, then coloured in with the same pen. To add more dimension I also added an extra layer of colour to areas that would be in shadow.
Before I go, I do just want to remind you of that you only have 7 days left to book your place on this months Craft Class! This month we are making a whole stack of cards using the pretty Flowing Fountain stamp set, and there are 3 different kit options as well as the usual In Person or Online! Book your place HERE!

Before I get into this week’s Just Add Ink card (yes, I would LOVE to do this challenge every week…. we’ll see how that goes!) I just wanted to say a massive Thanks to the Design Team who picked my card from last week as their winner!
This week’s challenge is a fun sketch, and the Design Team have made some fabulous cards which really do show off how different cards can be, even when they all have the same basic layout.
Last week I had a bit of a tidy up of my craft room. It’s incredible how quickly craft rooms descend into a completely disastrous mess isn’t it?! I’ve been in my new room now for about 6 weeks and it already needed a dig out. Anyway, I pulled out some of my sets of dies that I haven’t used for ages, and put them next to my desk so I wouldn’t forget about them again. I’m, sadly, one of those people who needs to see things to remember to use them. I’d be no good with one of though pretty craft rooms where everything lives in a cupboard!
This card uses the Beautiful Promenade stamp set and coordinate Beautiful Layers thinlits, and the stitched shapes framelit circles, because I can’t make a card without them!
There is a stitched circle behind the pretty die cut centre piece, although my camera hasn’t picked it up awfully well (I’m still playing with the new photography set up!).
This card also uses the very pretty Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets, which are FREE with a £45 order during Sale-a-bration. Now, I know that these aren’t available in all markets because they have been SO popular… but at the time of writing you can still get them in the UK!

Usually I’d be going Live on my Facebook Page about now… but I’ve been struck down with a horrible cold, and this morning my voice is not at its best. So, instead I thought I would do a sort of update blog post and share a fun card for this weeks Just Add Ink challenge.
Urgent ordering news…
Stampin’ Up! announced to Demonstrators early this week that these two punches (Butterfly Duet and Cake Builder) have been SO popular that they are struggling to keep up with demand, this combined with Chinese new year which causes issues with shipping, means that they are expecting these two be SOLD OUT within the next 2 weeks! They wont be back in stock til probably the end of March… so if you want them, grab them sooner rather than later.
Also, the Fabulous Organza Ribbon that is (was) free with a £45 order during Sale-a-bration has SOLD OUT and so wont be back! There are, of course, a heap of other goodies still available to spend your Sale-a-bration credits on!
Just Add Ink…
I felt like taking part in a new challenge this week, and Just Add Ink popped up in my Facebook Feed!
This week’s challenge is to create a project inspired by this stunning photograph of cake. Once I had stopped day dreaming about cake, I took the cake image and the colour combination and created this card…
The cakes are stamped in Stazon Ink onto Shimmery White card stock. The cakes are taken from the Piece of Cake stamp set, which coordinates with that Cake Builder Punch from earlier. Each cake was then loosely water-coloured using the following colours:
The centerpiece cake was stamped on a separate piece of Shimmery White card stock, water-coloured and punched out before being layered onto a Stitched Circle and scalloped circle die using Dimensionals.
The card is finished with a trio of Self-Adhesive Sequins from the Gingham Gala suite.
Check back tomorrow for a fun Video Tutorial for the cute Butterfly Bag I shared on Saturday

It’s a bit of a busy day here today, with two blog hops in the space of 3 hours! However, I couldn’t miss the InspireINK blog hop this month, with their theme of Romance. The Hey Love stamp set is one of my new catalogue favourites (so much so that I have a whole Facebook Live using it tomorrow!)
There are some really lovely love themed products in this years Spring Summer Catalogue, particularly the Designer Series Papers, but they didn’t inspire me as much as the Hey Love stamp set! One first look through the catalogue back in November I was totally taken by this adorable gorilla and his other loved up chums!
Here I’ve grabbed my Stampin’ Blends in Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo to colour him in. I’ve kept my colouring simple with mostly flat colour and a few shadows added with the Dark Smoky Slate pen, but you could totally go to town on this guy!
This card was layered up with the layering Circles dies and a heat embossed sentiment, but it was missing something. I knew I had a simple heart stamp somewhere, turns out it was on my desk the whole time in the Piece of Cake Stamp Set, and so I added a trio of trio’s of hearts in Smoky Slate!
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the team have created for this theme. To find out, use the NEXT button to hop along to the next blog in our hop…

Oh, yes, today the team are blog hopping again! This time to celebrate the start of Sale-a-bration! I am in LOVE with the free goodies you can earn as part of Sale-a-bration this year, and don’t even get me started on the tote bag that you could add to a Starter Kit!
I’ve been playing with the Butterfly Gala suite a lot this month as it formed the basis for my first Card Class of 2019, and so I thought I would carry on with a theme… and use the coordinating FREE Designer Series Paper for a cute bag.
These papers are stunning, with a pretty pastel palette on one side and black and white on the other, PLUS they coordinate with the fabulous Butterfly Gala Stamp and Punch Bundle too…
I’ve got a quick Video Tutorial for this one coming on Monday so do check back
Do check out the rest of the team’s Sale-a-bration inspiration…
