On Saturday I shared 3 fun cards based on a challenge set by the InspireINK team, however they weren’t the only cards I made for the challenge! Today’s card was my original creation…
This card uses the First Frost stamp set and coordinating Frosted Bouquet framelits. This set was originally part of the Stampin’ Up! Christmas catalogue last year, but its just so versatile, and is perfect for more occasions that just Christmas.
Here I’ve stamped the background in Night of Navy, and then used 2 different ink pads (Highland Heather and Mango Melody) to ink up one of the floral sprays which is then die cut and popped up on Dimensionals.
The card is finished with a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set and a trio of trio of jewels!

A few weeks ago my fabulous friend Amanda shared THIS fun card, and I just HAD to have a go at creating my own version.
I am such a sucker for a good technique, and I love some ink blending, but I haven’t done it for ages. Amanda’s card used a really pretty colour combination that I had not considered before and so I also used the same…
I used a sponge (or 4) to add Melon Mambo, Highland Heather, Mango Melody and Coastal Cabana onto a piece of Shimmery White card stock. This method of Ink Blending starts off looking quite subtle, but the more ink you add the brighter the colours become. Once I had the ink nice and bright, I took some water and dropped it onto the piece to create a fun watercolour-y look, and add some texture.
I then left it to dry, before using the Stitched Rectangles to die cut this piece out.
The ink blended panel is then popped up onto a Thick Whisper White card base with some dimensionals.
The sentiment is die cut from the Celebrate You thinlits dies which are sadly retiring at the end of May. I die cut 4 of these, and used another retiring item, the Multi-Purpose Adhesive Sheets, to glue them together and give some more dimension to the card.
This card is finished with a trio of Glitter Enamel Shapes.

Hey folks! I am so excited that I managed to get my cards made for this months InspireINK blog hop! I sadly missed last month as time just ran away from me, but this month’s challenge is just fab and I knew I couldn’t miss it!
This month the girls are creating using the above grid. The challenge is to use 3 of the colours to make a project. Now, I made one… and then I just HAD to make another, so I’ve actually got 3! But they do match, so I’m running with it!
So, the first card uses the first 3 colours on the left hand side of the grid; Highland Heather, Night of Navy and Mango Melody. I’ve actually made another card with this colour combo and I’ll share that one with you later in the week.
All my cards today have a similar look, using the Beautiful Bouquet Stamp Set and coordinating Bouquet Bunch framelits; both of which are carrying forward into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue! Yay!
The second card uses the next 3 colours in the grid; Real Red, Blackberry Bliss and Coastal Cabana.
The cards also use my favourite Stitched Shapes framelits (also carrying forward), and each card uses a different shape. The die cut shapes are popped up on Dimensionals and you can see a hint of colour from the backing card through the front of the card.
The third card is another colour combination; Granny Apple Green, So Saffron and Mossy Meadow.
The Beautiful Bouquet stamps are so pretty, there are lots of different floral images and leaves, and then many have coordinating dies too. The sentiment in this set though are where I get excited! Many of them come in pairs, so you not only have a pretty sentiment for the front of your project, but also a heartfelt saying for the inside too!
Each card is also finished with a hint of bling, because every card needs a bit of sparkle!
Check out the rest of the InspireINK team’s projects using these fab colour combinations by clinking on the images below

I can’t believe this is the last Needlepoint Nook card of the week! I absolutely LOVE this card, it’s quick and simple, and uses that white space I love so much!
The Stampin’ Up! Artisan created a fabulous blog hop using this suite last week, you can see all the fun projects over on my dedicated Needlepoint Nook Pinterest Board!
The background of this card has been stamped with one of the larger stamps from the Needle and Thread stamp set, actually it’s stamped twice as a backdrop for that cute sentiment.
Then the card is simply finished with a die cut, stamped flower in Berry Burst. You could really go to town on this one with adding jewels or pearls, or maybe some of those Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons, however I chose to keep things simple, but pretty!

Today is the 4th Needlepoint Nook card of the week… and I have another one for you tomorrow too! Did you see my pretty floral Birthday Card from yesterday? I think that might be one of my favourite cards of the week. Saying that this one uses the Stitched Rectangles… and I love those too!

For this card I have pulled another one of my current favourite products; the Stitched Rectangles dies! This have found their way onto a mountain of projects recently, but its because they are just so versatile, and an absolute crafting must have!
Again I’ve also used the pretty label punch on this card because it coordinates so perfectly with this sentiment, and just makes for such a lovely layer with those die cut stamped flowers and leaves!

Can you tell I am totally in LOVE with the Needlepoint Nook Suite? I am so sad that it is due to retire at the end of May. The Needle and Thread stamp set is super versatile and has a sentiment for just about every occasion! So far this week I’ve shared a Thank You card, and a Get Well Soon card, both using this fun stamp set.
Today I thought I would share this pretty Birthday Card…
This photo doesn’t really do this card justice, as the white layer is popped up off of that pretty Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper, and is also embossed using one of the coordinating Needle and Thread Dies.
The colours in this card are so pretty too; Old Olive, Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride and Night of Navy. I think I need to make another card using this colour combo because it is just so lovely!

I’m sharing a whole week of Needlepoint Nook cards this week, did you miss yesterday’s card? Check it out HERE!

Today’s card is a really pretty, and simple, Get Well Soon card. These are one of those cards that you never have when you need one… except this suite would be a great way of making a stack of Get Well Soon cards ready to go for some stress free wish sending!
Needlepoint Nook also coordinates with the Pretty Label punch, and this sentiment fits in their just perfectly! Here I’ve layered it against an embossed panel using one of the dies from the coordinating die set too.

I have a whole week of fun Needlepoint Nook cards to share with you this week! I am so sad to see this stamp set and coordinating dies to retire at the end of May, as I have had SO much fun making heaps of cards with this bundle.
The Stampin’ Up! Artisan created a fabulous blog hop using this suite last week, you can see all the fun projects over on my dedicated Needlepoint Nook Pinterest Board!
The fun Designer Series Paper really compliments those pretty stamped flowers here doesn’t it? Needle and Thread is one of the Stampin’ Up! line of DistINKtive stamps, this means that the stamps leave a realistic impression, but it can be a little tricky…
Top Tips:
These stamps are easily over inked; I tend to use a drier ink pad or only tap the stamp to the pad very lightly
You use could a brayer or sponge to add the ink to the stamp
Practice; use that grid paper to practice stamp before going onto your good card stock!
