Neutral Christmas Card using Good Tidings from Stampin' Up!

I have a another Good Tidings card to share with you today. Have you checked out this Month’s Stamp of the Month Club? It is awesome! Not only do we have a fabulous stamp set to play with but the class for this one is fabulous too.

This is one of those cards with lots of little details. Have you noticed the Designer Series Paper? It the GORGEOUS Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, which has been stamped with the detailed leave stamp from Good Tidings.

Then there is the stamped oval, die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. The leaves and berries are stamped in Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip ink, but the bottom layer has been stamped off once for a paler tone of the same colour.

Have you spotted the hints of Gold? The sentiment is heat embossed in Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, but there is another hint too. Yes, there are 3 strands of Gold Metallic Thread wrapped around the card too.

I don’t have a specific card or project to share with you today (but seeing as it is Wednesday and I don’t normally post on a Wednesday I didn’t think you would mind too much!) but just wanted to talk about the fabulous Petals and Paisleys suite!

Petals and Paisleys Designer Series Paper Card

I am loving using Designer Series Paper at the moment (probably something to do with that AWESOME offer that is currently running!) and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share this card that I made at a recent team get together

There is no real way of describing how this card it put together. Other than that the card stock matts are cut before the layers. I randomly cut the card stock, and then cut the Designer Series Paper to fit. Once the matts and layers were cut and stuck together, I arranged them on the card. I do have one secret though, I actually intended for this card to stand up the other way, but then realised that the sentiment I had already stamped was the wrong way around! oops!

The other reason I’m sharing this card today is that this is part of my Stamp of the Month this month! I’m just loving that Designer Series Paper. It is super easy to join in with the Stamp of the Month Club; just you just need to purchase the Paisleys and Poises stamp set (or the stamp and die bundle) using the Code and I will then send you a card making kit (including some of this gorgeous Designer Series Paper) along with written instructions and video tutorials for a stack of projects at the end of the month. A Fruity Thank you….

Simple Thank You card featuring Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

Hey folks, sorry for the lack of a Make It Monday this week, but the last few weeks have been totally crazy here! For a bit of back story, I’m a nurse, but I have recently changed jobs (for the 4th time in 7 months) and am now in a management role (which I am absolutely LOVING!) but I’m working some crazy long shifts over the summer and its not leaving me a whole heap of time for you guys – so August might be a quiet affair around here; however, I’m not going anywhere, my shop is open 24/7 as always and I am always here to answer any questions you may have, just understand it might take me a couple of hours to get back to you. Right, thats enough of that, lets get on with a card shall we?!

This card is super simple to put together, even though it looks complex. The card base is in Peekaboo Peach, and is stamped in Peekaboo Peach on the corners. I’m loving this Designer Series Paper too, very fresh and summery, those apples are so cute!

I’ve been playing with masking again on this card, I stamped the Thank You first, and then stamped the fruits over the top in Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, and Peekaboo Peach with Smoky Slate outlines and dots.

My Online Card Class using this stamp set closes at 9PM tonight! I am so excited about getting this one out to you lovely people, my plan is to get it out to you over the weekend, so hopefully by this time next week you’ll be making fabulous cards like this one!
