Hello! I am so excited to be doing another Sunday Colour Splash this week! This is my weekly challenge to you… each week I post a card on a Sunday, along with the colours I have used and I would LOVE to see what you create! Sale-a-bration Wednesday | Inside the Lines with a gorgeous Butterfly

Oh yes, it is Wednesday… and time to talk some more about Sale-a-bration! oh how I LOVE this sale! It is just awesome!

Now, I know that the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper is totally designed for you to colour in…. but I am loving using it as it is – I will have to have a go at colouring soon though, I’m sure this card would look AMAZING with the paper coloured…..

Did you know that you can get this fabulous Designer Series Paper for FREE? just by spending £45 before the end of March! Isn’t that just so cool, and how often to you get to choose your own free gift…. not often enough!

The stamp set and the die I have used on this card come from the Annual Catalogue, they are firm favourites of mine but haven’t had much use recently. The Butterfly Basics stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Butterflies thinlits dies, and that butterfly is stunning die cut from Basic Black card stock. I have manage a pop of metallic on this card with some loops of Copper Metallic Thread.

Timeless Textures | I knew you could

Congratulations Knew you could Card using Timeless Textures from Stampin' Up! UK

I think it was the beginning of last month, I mentioned that I had chosen Timeless Textures as a reward for helping out at Stampin’ Up! OnStage back in November. It has taken me this long to get round to using it! I feel so bad, because I LOVE it, its such a great combination of textures and floral prints, and I really don’t know why it took my so long to get it inky!

For all this stamp set appears grunge-y in the box, you can get some very girly, cute stamping out of it! I have CASe’d myself with this one, using the same layout as THIS card from OnStage 2015.

The flowers are stamped in Basic Black and I added colour with the Watercolour Pencils and a blender pen <3 while the background(s) are stamped with splatter stamps from the set

I love this sentiment, it’s from the Sale-a-bration set Designer Tee – so you could get it for FREE when you spend £45 this month! Awesome!

Sale-a-bration 2017 wedding card using Delicate Details from Stampin' Up! UK

Are you Loving this years Sale-a-bration?!

It’s it just the most awesome event, heaps of free goodies just for grabbing your crafting essentials (or something a bit special too) I am loving the selection of Sale-a-bration items this year. But I think one of the sets that will likely stay in my long term collection is Delicate Details…. I can see some gorgeous wedding stationary being made with this one, and you could even get the stamp set for free when you buy the card stock! Awesome!

How pretty is this card? and super easy to do to, I added 3 of the boarder stamps from the set to a large clear block, and then stamped them repeatedly using Versamark ink. Then added white Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it. The background was added in Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder using the Sponge Brayer. The Congratulations sentiment is taken from the So In Love stamp set (which comes bundled with the MOST gorgeous dies ever!)

Balloon Adventures | It’s Your Birthday!

I have mentioned before about how much I am loving playing with the Balloon Adventures stamp set, so much that is has its own Birthday Card Club! This great club gives you 4 birthday cards a month for 6 months, and includes all the stamps, card stock and embellishments you need to make them, along with a list of instructions too! Today is the last day to sign up to Club, and I will be sending out your stamps and your first pack of card kits at the end of next week!

I think my favourite bit of this card (other than that great die cut!) is the ribbon! You all know that bow’s are totally not my greatest skill, but this ribbon makes bow tying so much easier. It’s the brand new 1/8″ Taffeta ribbon in Emerald Envy, that coordinates with the Party Animal suite. I will put the full suite in the product list at the end of this post.

Sale-a-bration Wednesday | December Thank You Cards

Sale-a-bration thank you card using So very much from Stampin' up! UK

I am LOVING this Sale-a-bration! There are so many great products to get for FREE when you shop! you can check them out my clicking on the Sale-a-bration picture on the right (or at the bottom if your on a mobile device) of this blog post.

I made a stack of these for my December Customers. They are super simple to put together, and I made all the flowers during an hour long team call with my team leader a few weeks ago. I will quite often craft on calls to team members, or my team leader, also long as they are quiet crafty jobs! (ie: no big shot work!). The flowers on these cards use the Faux Suede technique, where you punch out the shape, and then manipulate the card stock back and forward until the layers of card stock separate. This then shows the fluffy fibres of the card stock and looks like suede! I did a Make It Monday a few weeks ago on this technique, complete with a video for you to enjoy!
