Hexagon Twist Fold Card | Video Tutorial

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for the video tutorial for the card I shared here yesterday.

This card is SO fun… check the video below for all the details.

Measurements;

Cardstock – 21cm x 20.7cm (8¼” x 8 1/8”)

Score on the 21cm side at 10.5 cm (4 1/8″)
Score on the 20.7cm side at 1.2, 7.3, 13.4 and 19.5 cm (½”, 2 7/8”, 5¼”, 7 5/8”)
Score two diagonal lines as shown in the video.

2 pieces of Designer Series Paper that measure 5.7 x 10.1 cm (2¼ x 4”)

2 pieces of Designer Series Paper that measure 5.7 x 9.8 cm (2¼” x 3 7/8”) – Then cut these pieces diagonally from the top right to the bottom left corners

Create the Belly Band; Card stock measures 6 x 23.7 cm (9-3/8″ x 2-3/8″), and a piece of Designer Series Paper that measures 10.2 x 5.5 cm

Inspire.Create.Challenge #141 | Fancy Fold Card Idea…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge project AND the first of a two part weekend of posts!

I LOVE a fancy fold, and so when Jo let us know that ‘Fancy Fold’ was the theme for Challenge 141 I was very excited! So much so that this card had a tutorial which I will share here tomorrow, so do hop back and check it out!

This Hexagon Twist Fold card actually has a pocket that would awesome for gift card! I might have to make this one again nearer to Christmas for that.

I’ve used the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper for this card, along with the Something Fancy Stamp Set and a splash of Balmy Blue ink!

Global Design Project #388 | Farewell Hues of Happiness…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this evening for a quick card using one of my favourite suites of the Stampin’ Up! 2022 catalogue; Hues of Happiness. I just had to get this one out one last time before it retires at the end of the month. As this post goes live, the Designer Series Paper, Stamps and dies are still in stock, but they are now while stocks last!

This week’s Global Design Project challenge is a CASE the Designer; hop over to their blog to check out the inspiration card.

Instead of using the Designer Series Paper in the background, I’ve ink blended Smokey Slate and Basic Grey. But, I have used the Designer Series Paper for the flower elements… don’t you just love it when the dies cut out the paper! So fun!

Fun card idea using Irresistible Blooms from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another fun card and a video tutorial… I know, twice in a week!

This card uses the Irresistible Blooms suite, which is a While Stocks Last set of products that form part of the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives collection. If you haven’t checked them out yet, I would highly recommend popping over to the Online Store for a look… these products are gorgeous!

This card uses Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, Soft Seafoam, Blackberry Bliss and Bermuda Bay… slightly inspired by the colours in the papers, but then I added some colours too!

Fun Fancy Fold idea using Fancy Flora from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. Today I thought I would share a card I created for a recent team event, and I loved it so much I had to share it with you to!

The measurements are all listed below the video, but I just want to mention about Team events… I absolutely LOVE getting together with my Stampin’ Sisters. We have SO much fun… this time we had made 6 fun projects, ate a LOT of cake, had a lot of laughs and waited a very very long time for a Chinese take away! My team is always open, and I cannot wait to welcome some more people to my team. This year I am hoping to arrange an in person something for my team (even if it is just a Coffee and Card in my local coffee shop)… and I would LOVE you to join us. Inspire.Create.Challenge #138 | Irresistible Blooms card

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge! This time we have a fun inspiration challenge, which I have taken as a sketch idea, and used the brand new Irresistible Blooms stamps and dies… and the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Papers which are beautiful!

The background is a half and half combination of the Designer Series Paper and one of the new Basic 3D Embossing folders (these are stunning… and absolutely worth checking out!)

The flowers are stamped in Petal Pink onto Basic White card stock, and then coloured using Blending Brushes and Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink ink.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #135 | Love for You

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge sketch. Do hop over to the Inspire.Create blog and see the sketch and the rest of the Design Team’s creations (and add your own projects too!).

I have been loving creating with the Love for You bundle. The flower stamps in this one are really lovely and the words dies are just perfect.

The Designer Series Paper in the background is from Sun Prints, and uses Night of Navy. I do love a Night of Navy moment, here I’ve paired it with Balmy Blue, Soft Succulent and Blushing Bride… oh, and a hint of Gold too!

This card is finished with a trio of the Adhesive-backed Milky Dots.

Global Design Project #378 | Beautifully Happy

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another Global Design Project idea. This week their challenge is a sketch. When I saw this on Monday I jumped onto Facebook Live and made this card. I would LOVE to share the video, but the Facebook pixies are being a bit naughty and I appear to have some sort of tech issue… which I have no idea how to solve! So, I will aim to re-record the video over the next couple of days.

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Thank you Lovely Linen!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Crafty Challenge blog hop. This month we were given a number of different ideas and basically told to pick the ones we liked and felt inspired by, and then create! So that I what I did… Inspired by the terms; Sponging, Thank You, Pearls and Standard Horizontal.

I love this piece of Designer Series Paper, from Lovely Linen (Annual Catalogue) and I’ve sponged (well, ink blended because I couldn’t be bothered to dig out my sponges!), the edges with Evening Evergreen ink.

The Thank You is from Something Fancy, and die cut using the coordinating dies.

This card is finished with a little White Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon, and a trio of Iridescent Pearls.
