Hello! I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I had a short blogging break over the weekend, but I am back and getting ready for the launch of the Spring/Summer catalogue next week! there are some really exciting things coming really soon.
I wanted to let you know that I have updated my blogging calender ready for the new year, and aim to post 2 cards and 2 3-d items a week, with a return of Fancy Fold Fridays, AND more video tutorials! yay!
So, without further ado, lets get to todays card!
When I was planning for this week I thought I would set myself a challenge. So, I randomly selected four ink colours and two stamp sets with the aim of making a couple of cards for this weeks posts. This was the first card I made, using A Dozen Thoughts and Papillon Potpourri, with Gorgeous Grunge accents.
The ink colours I used were So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Rich Razzleberry and Bermuda Bay.
I have to say, I love the look of this card, but the colours wouldn’t have been my first choice of colour combinations. However, I think it works! That is one of the great things about Stampin’ Up! the colours are all designed to work together. Oh, and that the inks match the cardstock because the card base here is So Saffron too!
To finish I added some Candy dots to either side of the Sentiment (punched out with the Modern label punch), and gave the largest butterfly some bling!
