I have been having heaps of fun recently playing with the Painted Harvest Stamp set! I love this set for classic looking Thank You cards, and it looks gorgeous paired with the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. However, I got myself stuck in a Yellow rut with the Sunflower stamp one day last week…. and so decided to do a bit of Rainbow stamping to get my back in a colourful mood!
This card uses one of the leaves in the stamp set… which comes as two stamps designed to be stamped one on top of the other for a really dimensional look. I messed around for ages trying to pull out the perfect Rainbow of inks, and settled on; Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Dapper Denim and Rich Razzleberry.
The Thank You stamp is taken from Thankful Thoughts and is stamped in Basic Black ink.
I made a heap of these for some very special people who have helped me recently with my business, and while I am sure that they will see this blog post LONG before I manage to get them posted I hope that they love them when they eventually arrive!

Hello! Oh I am so excited … and a little nervous about today’s project! Today marks the start of something brand new here at StampinByHannah! Today is the launch of the Inspire.Create.Challenge Papercraft challenge blog… of which I am a Design Team Member and challenge coordinator! Every other Wednesday I will be sharing a project based around the challenge here on my blog… but I would LOVE you to join in too! You can find a heap of inspiration and ideas over on the Inspire.Create.Challenge Blog, as well as how to enter!
Our first challenge uses our challenge colours! I cannot wait to see what the other ladies have made using this slightly unusual colour combo!
I have used the Cheers to the Year Stamp set here to create a fun, yet simple wedding card. I love that swirly circle stamp… when I saw it in the catalogue it reminded me of THESE cards I made last year with a different stamp set. I have stamped the circles with Calypso Coral ink, and added the heart stamp from the same Cheers to the Year stamp set in Basic Grey.
The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and has been heat embossed in White on a strip of Calypso Coral card stock.
This card is finished with scattering of White Perfect Accents that I have pealed the backing off of because the stamped layer is Shimmery White Card stock and is just slightly off white. However, the camera hasn’t pick up on these particularly well.
Do go over to Inspire.Create.Challenges to see what the other lovely members of the Design Team have created…

A few weeks ago I attended a Stampin’ Up! team training event… as was totally honoured to be asked to present a technique to the other ladies attending. First of all this scared the pants off me! I have been suffering recently with my anxiety and panic disorder, but I am trying really hard to push through… and I knew that the ladies coming would be happy and understanding! So I agreed. Then came the next problem….What technique to showcase!
I have been making heaps of cards projects recently using Fine-Tip Glue… and did a video recently on how to use this fab glue as a Mask. So… I have a heap of projects to share using Fine-Tip Glue. But I thought today’s card was particularly special…
This card started life with the background… The card base is Soft Sky, with a Soft Sky layer on the top. This layer has fab dimension thanks to Stampin’ Up!’s Embossing Paste which I have used along with the Pattern Party Decorative Masks to create fluffy clouds.
The piggy was stamped in Basic Black archival ink, and then ‘coloured in’ using Fine-Tip Glue. This takes a while to dry, and I left it overnight. Once dry I added a hint of Powder Pink ink with a sponge over the top and die cut the piggy using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits dies. The ‘She Believed She Could’ sentiment is actually attached to the bottom of this piggy stamp, but I didn’t want it underneath our flying piggy here… so I used a Sticky Note to avoid inking it when I stamped the piggy and then stamped it separately, along with the ‘… So She Did’.

Last weekend I attended a Stampin’ Up! Team Training event…. and made two different swap cards. I shared THIS ONE last week, and have the second one to share with you today. Swaps are sample cards that we make for other demonstrators when we go to events, swapping is so much fun, and a great way to see lots of different ways of using our fabulous stamps! This particular event had organised swaps, where we signed up to make a few swaps on a particular theme…. hence why I have two different cards, because I signed up for a colour challenge swap as well as a Christmas themed one.
This card uses the Santa’s Suit stamp set…. which might just be my favourite Christmas Stamp set this year, it’s so cute… AND it comes with coordinating dies! Win! The Father Christmas is a two step stamp (another reason why I love this set!), the outline is one stamp, and then there is a second stamp to colour it in! No more bad colouring! Yay!
Measurements:
Card base – Garden Green – 10.5 x 29.7 cm, Score on the long edge at 14.85 cm
Whisper White Layer – 10 x 14.3 cm
Be Merry Designer Series Paper -4 x 13.8 cm
I’ve grabbed the Christmas Designer Series Paper from the annual catalogue. The Be Merry Designer Series Paper is one of those things that you could easily be missed… but it coordinates with a gorgeous stamp set and a heap of fun embellishments. I can also see this paper for projects other than Christmas…. as it has great mix of Christmas images and basic patterns.

Hello! Welcome to another Pootler’s Team Blog Hop! We love doing these hops, sharing what we love with all of you! This time we are all sharing projects made using items from the new Stampin’ Up! Autumn / Winter catalogue. I am totally in love with this catalogue, and had a very hard time writing my ‘must have’ list this year….. but there was one bundle that was right at the top of my list…. Snowflake Sentiments!
This stamp set just screamed ‘Watercolour’ to me…. and I couldn’t help but make a Watercolour Smooshing card with it for my first make!
I love watercolour techniques (actually I love playing with techniques in general…. but watercolour is up there with my favourites!) and this one is particularly easy: Grab yourself a large Clear Block (or a tile, glass cutting matt, or other surface to use as your ‘palette’) and add ink to it…. I simply just smoosh my ink pad onto the block usually! add some water, and then pick up the ink and water mixture with a piece of Window Sheet (or one of those pieces that come with your photopolymer stamps!). This becomes your ‘brush’…. touch the Window Sheet to a piece of watercolour paper, and move it around to create some fun watercolour effects!
The background here is in Dapper Denim, Pool Party and Smoky Slate.
The sentiment can be added to your watercolour paper before or after the watercolour process…. you get different effects depending on which order you do each step in, but be sure to heat emboss your sentiment in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder to ensure it really pops through that watercolour!
This card was finished with that fun boarder die cut from the watercolour paper, and a couple of swirls die cut from Silver Foil Paper!
Thank you so much for visiting StampinByHannah today… I would be honoured if you would sign up to my email newsletter while you are here (link in the side bar!)… and don’t forget to hop along to see what the other ladies have made with products from this wonderful catalogue!

This technique is one of my stamping favourites…. 2 Step Stamping. It requires a certain type of stamp, designed especially for it, but it creates stunning results. Stampin’ Up! have a whole heap of stamps designed for 2 Step Stamping…. I will list a few at the bottom of this post… but the one I am using today is Bike Ride.
I was lucky enough to receive this stamp set for free when I attended Stampin’ Up! OnStage last April. It is a fun mix of images, all based around a bicycle…. but I know that there are lots of ways to use it leaving the bike behind. Today though, I am using the lovely bicycle to create two cards; one for the girls, and one for the guys!
This stamp set is special because its not just the bicycle that uses 2 Step Stamping, but the accessories also feature the same technique. The girls version uses Flirty Flamingo and Basic Black for the bicycle, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso for the basket, and Pear Pizzazz and Melon Mambo for the flowers. These stamps line up really easily without the need for a stamp positioning tool; like the Stamp-a-ma-jig
Both of these cards also feature a piece of the Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper… actually, its the same piece of Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper. I love that our papers are double sided, and quite often I have to debate which side I love more! I have toned down the brightness of the paper here by layering a piece of Vellum over the top, just to stop that lovely bicycle from getting lost.
One of my favourite features of this stamp set is the it comes bundled with coordinating dies…. no need to attempt to fussy cut that bike! All bundles in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue are a great deal, you get 10% off by buying a bundle compared to buying the stamps and dies separately!
The boys version uses Pacific Point, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Tangerine Tango, and replaces the flowers with a stack of books!
Measurements:
Card Base – 29.7 x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.8 cm
Designer Series paper – 7.5 x 12 cm (although it will be shorter than this in the end, due to that fun ripped edge!)
Vellum – 7 x 12 cm
I have left sentiments off these cards; partly because I couldn’t think of a sentiment I wanted to use, but also these would be great ‘just because’ cards to send a kind note and make someone smile!

I love making birthday cards for my family. Yesterday was my dad’s birthday, unfortunately he is out of the country this week with work, so instead we had a sort of farewell / birthday dinner a few weeks ago… which mum sort of sprang on me. I usually fairly organised when it comes to these special cards, but suddenly I need a card for my dad over a fortnight early!
This card uses This Little Piggy…. which I’m sure doesn’t immediately spring to mind when your thinking of men’s birthday cards, but I think it works! I did add a hint of Powder Pink watercolour to Mr. Piggy, but it was so light that the camera didn’t pick it up. This particular piggy stamp does come with a sentiment attached, I just masked it off with a piece of Sticky Note when inking the stamp with Basic Black Archival ink, but you could perform some stamping surgery and cut it off if you wanted to!
The Designer Series Paper is a strip 4 cm wide of the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper Stack in Dapper Denim. Have you noticed how much Dapper Denim I have used recently? I am currently on a bit of a use it all up mission…. I just have so much of it!
The sentiment is from Sweet Cupcake… I just love the cute birthday font, and it fits perfectly in the Classic Label punch too.
This card was finished with a spritz of Dapper Denim Stampin’ Write Marker. My dad loved it!
