So, I have a heap of Valentines Inspiration for you this week, and today is no exception! I was looking at my stamp shelves last week in preparation for today, and I spotted the Jar of Love stamp set. I haven’t used this properly in ages, and I had totally forgotten that there are some really cute heart dies in the Everyday Jars framelits… and this card was born!
Aren’t those hearts adorable?! There are a combination of stamped hearts and die cut ones, all in Blushing Bride. I’ve also varied the dimension of the hearts, with some flat and some popped up onto a Stampin’ Mini Dimensional.
Isn’t this colour combination just perfect for Valentines… I think it would make lovely Wedding Invitations too!
That ribbon… it’s a Sale-a-bration freebie! The shimmery ribbon comes in a triple pack; Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Basic Grey (and they are all different widths too!), and is available as your free gift when you spend £45 during Sale-a-bration

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Fun Heart Happiness Card
This week I have a whole week of Love themed projects and a whole heap of Valentines inspiration. Today’s card is one you might recognise from Saturday, but I loved it so much that I just HAD to make a video!
I can’t decide which is my favourite version of this card; the Night of Navy and Gold, or this Fresh Fig and Silver (I am a purple and silver girl at heart!). My favourite part of this card is the Glimmer paper Amazing! I am in LOVE with this die so much… It’s taken from the Celebrate You Thinlits dies, which you can find as part of Sale-a-bration. Have you checked out the Sale-a-bration goodies yet? They are totally awesome! There are two tiers of products this year; Level 1 items can be chosen as your Free gift when you place a £45 order, while Level 2 items (which is what this die is) can be picked as your Free gift when you place a £90 order.
There is a fair bit of Heat Embossing on this card. I will admit I have a bit of a heat embossing addiction at the moment (Did you see my January Facebook Live… ALL the cards had Heat Embossing!). This is one of those WOW techniques for me, I just can’t help be totally memorised by watching a dull looking powder turn into shine-y loveliness! I do have a couple of Heat Embossing top tips:
Use your Embossing Buddy! – This is one of those items that you never buy because pretty stamps take priority right?! but seriously, this thing is amazing… rub it across your card stock before you start, and it stops the powder sticking where it shouldn’t
Take your Embossing Powders out of the tiny pots! – I store my Embossing Powders in larger tubs, it stops me making such a mess!
Get your Heat Tool good and hot before you start trying to melt your powders … it stops your card stock warping quite so much
Ok, so that is my card for today. I have a super cute card for you tomorrow, so please do check back! Oh, and have you signed up for my emails yet…. I have a fabulous card for my subscribers today too!

StampinByHannah InspireInk Blog Hop Sparkly Amazing You…
Oh I am so excited about today’s blog post! You might remember last year, I took part in a monthly blog hop called Simply Sketched Saturday? Well, I co-run this monthly event with my lovely friend Sam, and we have changed things up a bit. (Can I just take a moment to look at our awesome new logo… its so damn pretty!)
This month’s theme is Sparkle, Shimmer and Shine… and I CANNOT wait to see what the girls on the team have made! We have 17 InspireINK blogs taking part this month, and you can see them all by clicking the NEXT button at the bottom of this blog post.
Ok, so I have a confession to make about this card… it wasn’t my first creation for today’s blog hop, but I am SO glad that I didn’t settle for the card I had, because I LOVE this one! You can see the first version (very quickly) in my Make It Monday video this Monday, when I might just be making another version of this fabulously sparkly number!
There are two stamp sets at work on this card; Heart Happiness and the lovely Amazing You, as well as the Celebrate You Thinlits which coordinate. The large hearts are simply stamped in Night of Navy while the stamp does all the work to get that multi-tonal effect. The little hearts are then stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder
The sentiment is the star of the show here though, with Amazing die cut from Gold Glimmer Paper (I cannot get enough of Glimmer paper, or this die, at the moment!), and the other words taken from Amazing You heat embossed in White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
I hope that you have enjoyed stopping by StampinByHannah today, and hope to see you here again soon! Please do hop along and see the rest of the InspireINK team…

StampinByHannah Techniques How to assemble a custom sentiment with Amazing You
This week’s techniques video is probably less about the technique and more about the card…. actually there are two techniques in this card, but I wound rabbit on too long about the other one!
This card was inspired by the lovely Holly Stene and THIS card which I spotted on Instagram. I have recently started to ‘save’ my favourite ideas on Instagram ready for inspiration at a later date, but this time I think this card was so imprinted on my brain that I only went into my ‘saved’ feed to work out who made the original!
So, two techniques for the price of one?! Yep, first lets just quickly mention those flowers…. and stamping with Stampin’ Write markers! I LOVE using my markers to colour my stamps and get multi-coloured stamped images. Check the video for my top tips!
The second (and main) technique is about that sentiment. The Amazing You Stamp set and Celebrate You thinlits dies (both available for FREE during Sale-a-bration by the way!) are a great way to customise you cards. The combination of the stamps and dies allow you to create your own sentiments… and there are heaps of possibilities! I’ve used ‘Lets Celebrate You’ today, but would love to see your sentiment ideas in the comments below!
I have a fabulous class planned with this stamp and die set, for FREE, in February. You can find all the information about my upcoming classes and events HERE, and you can find out more about my Facebook Live Online Card Classes over on my Facebook Page.

I have something a little different for this weeks Thoughtful Thursday… Did you know that Stampin’ Up! raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charities every year? They have partnered with Ronald MacDonald House Charities both here in the UK and around the world, and release a fabulous stamp set each year with £2 from each sale going to the charity. Here in the UK that has been taken a step further and over recent months Stampin’ Up! UK have hosted two wonderful sponsored card making event weekends to make cards for families. Ronald MacDonald House Charities UK run 15 houses for families with children in hospital up and down the country, allowing families to stay close to there children.
This year’s stamp set is called Sharing Sweet Thoughts, and is available until June. This fun set coordinates with another set in the Annual catalogue; Jar of Love, as well as the Everyday Jars thinlits dies. Saying that, I haven’t actually used any dies on this card… but that ladybird was too cute not to fussy cut!
If you would like to support the work of Ronald MacDonald House Charities, all you need to do is purchase a copy of this pretty stamp set! While you in my Webstore, I would LOVE you to check out the Sale-a-bration goodies too!

I am loving Sale-a-bration this year! Sale-a-bration is the biggest event in the Sale-a-bration calendar… it has 3 fabulous parts; Shop, Host and Join.
Each week on a Wednesday I am focusing one a Sale-a-bration goody, and this week it’s Heartfelt Blooms!
This stamp set is special stamp set, not only can you choose it as your free item when you spend £45 before the end of March, but also it is part of a brand new line of stamps from Stampin’ Up! Disinktive stamps are a brand new style of stamp that layers ink down at different opacities, giving you a fabulous dimensional image.
This card uses a fun technique I hadn’t tried for a while; Spotlight Stamping (see what I did there?!). I stamped the Heartfelt Bloom twice, once in Smoky Slate and one in Rose Red. Then, I took the 1″ circle punch to the Rose Red one. These punch outs are then lined up with the Smoky Slate image, to create spotlights! Fun yes?!
This gorgeous stamp is is available for FREE during Sale-a-bration. All you need to do it spend £45 in the Online Store (that’s the Spring Summer or Annual catalogues, or even the Clearance rack!). There are 12 other free items if this one does float your boat, 2 of which are extra special and require a spend of £90 before you can choose them for free. When you shop using the Online Store, Stampin’ Up! will prompt you to add your Sale-a-bration items, and tell you how many you can have. They call the items you can choose for a £45 Level 1, and those requiring a £90 spend Level 2. You will earn a Sale-a-bration item every time you hit £45 in an individual order, meaning that if you spend £90 you can either have TWO Level 1 items or ONE Level 2. If you spend £135 you can choose THREE Level 1 items or ONE Level 1 item PLUS ONE Level 2!
This gets even better when you spend £150 as you will get to choose your Sale-a-bration items AND then spend at least £15 worth of Stampin’ Up! Rewards on anything in either the Spring Summer or Annual catalogues including the Hostess Exclusive stamp sets. But, when you place an order of £200 you get 4 Level 1 items, PLUS 10% of your order in Stampin’ Up! Rewards AND an extra £20 to spend on anything in the Spring Summer or Annual catalogues!
Don’t forget to shop using the Code Club Code to receive some great FREE goodies!

StampinByHannah International Blog Highlights Truly Tailored
It’s that special day of the month again… Kylie’s International Blog Highlight. I LOVE taking part in these events, partly because I get to see heaps of creative ideas from loads of other Demonstrators around the world, but also because Kylie always comes up with a cool theme! This month is no exception, and I am sure that everyone has made some fabulous projects. This month we are sharing our favourite products from the Spring Summer (Occasions if your outside of Europe) catalogue and Sale-a-bration!
I LOVE the Truly Tailored Suite in the Spring Summer Catalogue. Initially I was drawn to the colour combination, although I did spend far longer than I would care to admit trying to see the Crushed Curry on the papers printed in the catalogue!
It is definitely there though, and using a bit of Crushed Curry Bakers Twine on this card has really helped to pull it out of the papers.
I hadn’t really thought about it until I came to right this blog post, but I think my choice of papers is my subconscious speaking to me…. because I really need to hurry up and pick my new glasses! I promise I’ll share a picture of them on my social media when they arrive!

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Body Shop Self Closing Bag Tutorial
It was my Birthday a few weeks ago, and one of my Sister-in-Laws (I am not giving my brother any credit for any presents ever again!) gave me a whole bunch of Body Shop goodies. One of the things she gave me was some gorgeous hand cream, and I just HAD to make a cute bag for it!
This Self Closing bag is really simple to make. However, I did manage to get in wrong the first time… using the wrong blade on my trimmer to trim rather than score my Designer Series Paper! #fail!
Measurements:
Designer Series Paper: 6 x 4 1/2″ (15 x 12 cm)
Score on the SHORT side at 2 and 4″ (5 and 10 cm)
Score on the LONG side at 1″ (2.5 cm) on the side that you want to be at the bottom of your bag
Put your Designer Series Paper into your Simple Scored with the SHORT side at the top, and the skinny strip before the score line, at the top… and score at 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 inches (or 4.5 and 9.5 cm)

StampinByHannah Facebook Live Online Card Class Replay Beautiful Day
This past Tuesday was my January Facebook Live Online Card Class. I am LOVING doing Facebook Live, and had a few people join me live this month. I am planning a free class in the first 2 weeks of each month in 2018, and you can find all the upcoming dates on my calendar.
The first card in this months class is a super fun CASe of a card in the Stampin Up! Spring Summer Catalogue. CASE stands for Copy and Selectively Edit and is basically a nice way of saying that I took quite a lot of inspiration from Stampin’ Up! with this one! I am LOVING using Brusho and had a lot of fun colouring this butterfly.
Brusho is great but there is a bit of a learning curve… and I’m still not sure I’m completely satisfied with how I am using it. However, here the water was added first, and then Brusho sprinkled over. I would suggest having both an Aqua-Painted and a Stampin’ Spritzer to hand when using Brusho. You can find my Introduction to Brusho video HERE!
The second card in this class doesn’t use Brusho at all! For all the Beautiful Day stamp set has been designed with Brusho in mind, there are heaps of ways to use it without colouring it! I have already shared THIS card which uses Beautiful Day and Stampin’ Blends.
You can get your complete card kit for this class (excluding the stamps and Brusho) by shopping with me during January. All you need to do to claim your kit is to add the January Code Club Code to your order at checkout.
The 3rd and final card in this months Facebook Live Online Card Class is this one… which I didn’t actually complete during the class! (I mean… who finished all their cards in class right?!).There is also yet another Heat Embossed sentiment BUT I did trim the sentiment down, by chopping off the ‘Always’!
Before I go, I do just want to mention the fabulous Sale-a-bration joining offer… This fabulous offer is more than just £130 worth of Stampin’ Up! products for £99, with 2 extra stamp sets for FREE. Joining Stampin’ Up! is like being part of a special club, filled with crafting inspiration, events, and fun! If you have written your wish list and it comes to more than £90 please do consider grabbing a Starter Kit and becoming a part of my team. For more information check out my Joining Page or FAQ’s!
I do hope that you enjoyed class this month. If you did, please do consider signing up for my Stamp of the Month Club, this month we are playing with the Petal Palette Stamp set.

StampinByHannah Techniques Coordinated Die Cutting with Petal Palette from Stampin’ Up!
This weeks technique is something I have been wanting to do for a month or so, following a video shared by Jennifer McGuire. The technique is Coordinated Die Cutting, and is a fun way to look at your stamps and matchin dies
The cards I am sharing today are fairly simple, keeping the technique front and centre. Creating coordinating die cut windows really called to me when I first picked up this stamp and die set, but I know that you can do this with lots and lots of die sets.
The trick to this technique is a simple sheet of vellum, and ensuring that your two layers of card stock and your Vellum are the exact same size. However, once you have all card stock cut, the actual creation of the card is a quick process (as you can see, this video isn’t massively long for once!)
The ribbons used on this card are both from the same pack. The Sale-a-bration Shimmer Ribbon Pack contains 3 colours of shimmery ribbons in Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Basic Gray. Each ribbon is a different width as well as a different colour, but they are all shimmery and very pretty. This pack of ribbon is completely FREE with a £45 order during Sale-a-bration.
