StampinByHannah Inspire.Create.Challenges #019 Grapefruit Grove Home Decor
This week I am sharing a whole weeks worth of inspiration featuring the new Stampin’ Up! 2018-2020 In Colours… which happens to tie in quite nicely to this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenges Colour Challenge…
One of my most favourite times in the Stampin’ Up! calendar is the release of the new In-Colours…. and this year certainly did not disappoint! These 5 fun, bright colours are going to be awesome to use during the summer, and I can see some fabulous Christmas crafting coming with Call Me Clover too!
Today’s project is a fairly simple one… borne from the need to update my Office decor! I’ve had this frame in my craft room for a couple of years, I shared the original creation HERE…. but it was starting to look tired… and I could not pass up the chance to use the Exclusive Statement of the Heart stamp before it retires Tomorrow! The frame is THIS one from IKEA (I LOVE IKEA… don’t you?!)
Today is Grapefruit Grove day in my week long celebration of all things ‘In Colour’ and I just HAD to use this piece of the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and the Statement of the Heart Stamp Set from the Share What You Love Bundles, along with some of the pieces from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit, Pearlised Doilies and a hint of Vellum too!
This week I am sharing a daily PDF download of each project with my Email subscribers, feel free to subscribe HERE.
Do pop over to Inspire.Create.Challenges to see the work of the fabulous other members of the Design Team have made with these fun In-Colours…

StampinByHannah Rooted in Nature with Pineapple Punch
Oh yes…. this week’s In Colour theme continues, with a fabulous card using Pineapple Punch AND a new stamp and die bundle too!
What you you think of this colour combination? I LOVE it… you can find some more fun colour combo’s in today’s email…. along with the PDF download instructions for this card. Subscribe to my (usually weekly) Stampin’ Inspiration emails HERE!
This card also uses the Rooted in Nature Stamp and die bundle from the brand new 2018 Annual Catalogue. I am completely in LOVE with this stamp set…. I didn’t think it was going to be my thing, but I saw that many fabulously inspirational projects using it in one of the Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator only Facebook Groups, that I just HAD to have it! AND it has some GORGEOUS Designer Series Paper that coordinates with it too! You can get a sample of that in my Designer Series Paper shares….

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Fun with Beautiful Bouquet and some new colours!
Well, I am sorry that this post didn’t go out at the usual time of 7AM…. but, I do have a fabulous week of In-Colour goodness to make up for it! The reason for my tardiness this morning? Oh, there is a story! I ALWAYS share a video on a Monday, and I went to film on Saturday, and my camera completely died… dead! So, I rushed out and bought a new one (something I should have done about 18 months ago!)… but it’s meant that this weekend has been filled with learning how to use this new beast, PLUS it’s Bank Holiday so I had family stuff to do, and so this blog post got pushed. I’m sure you wont mind… particularly when I tell you what else is coming this week!
I have 5 fabulous projects for you this week, all featuring the new Stampin’ Up! In-Colours for 2018-2020. These new ink pads are available to purchase right NOW as part of the Share What You Love Bundles, they are super bright, and lots of fun! I can certainly see them getting a LOT of use in my craft room this year.
Today’s colour is Lovely Lipstick; a fabulously bold Pink… that I can already see heaps of fun colour combinations with. You can check out just a few of my Lovely Lipstick colour combinations in today’s Stampin’ Inspiration email. This week, to celebrate the launch of these new colours AND the new Annual Catalogue on Friday, I’m sending an email each day, complete with a PDF download of each blog project AND a heap of colour inspiration too! You can subscribe right HERE…. and yes, I am GDPR compliant (before you even ask! lol)
There is of course a video tutorial for this card too…. check it out to see all the details!
While I’m thinking about it, I sent a heap of 2018 Annual Catalogues out on Saturday… but I have an order in for another batch, so if you haven’t got your FREE copy yet, complete the form on my Request a Catalogue page!

StampinByHannah Stamparatus 101 Lets do the Hinge Step
Hello! Today I thought I would share the second video in my Stamparatus 101 series. This series focuses on the New Stamp Positioning Tool from Stampin’ Up!; The Stamparatus. I LOVE mine…. and I can’t wait for you to be able to get your hands on one on the 1st June.
This week we are doing the Hinge-Step…. this fun technique allows to you create fun patterns and precise stamping using one of the most unique features of Stamparatus. Check the video to see how…
Today’s card uses my favourite bundle from the Stampin’ Up! Spring Summer catalogue, Petal Palette. While it is carrying over into the 2018 Annual catalogue, the bundled price (which saves you 10%) is retiring…. so grab the bundle before the 31st May
Which version is your favourite Pink (Flirty Flamingo and Powder Pink) or Blue (Blueberry Bushel and Smoky Slate)?

I’ve said before how much I LOVE Angelina’s 3D projects, but this super quick make might be up there with my all time favourites… particularly when these cute Mini Post It note holders use the pretty Daisy Delight Designer Series paper (which is about to retire!). Click on the image to see Angelina’s video tutorial…
I LOVE this card from Sally this week. This fabulous bundle is currently available as part of the Demonstrator Annual Catalogue Pre-Order, and will be part of the new Catalogue Launch on 1st June.
I have a whole series of In-Colour makes planned for next week… but one of those makes might well have to be a CASE of this fun card. How fun are these colours?!

StampinByHannah Welcome Little One… Baby Card using Stampin’ Up! products
I have now reached that age where all my friends have got married, and have moved onto having babies! I am seeing heaps of New Baby cards in my future… now, I made this card about 6 weeks ago, before the Stampin’ Up! Retiring List was released. I was really hopeful that this set would be carried over, but alas! no! It’s leaving us on the 31st May, and actually is While Stocks Last. However, I couldn’t not share this card with you… so here we go!
This card uses the Little One stamp set. It’s so cute… I mean that little teddy in the TeePee… oh dear, I’m getting broody now! This whole card uses Blushing Bride… which is also retiring. The background is a watercolour wash with Blushing Bride ink, and then I used some of the small stamps from the set to stamp over the top.
The Teepee is stamped in Basic Grey, and then fussy cut…. although I think I would be tempted to stamp this first and mask it before doing the watercolour if I was going to make this card again.
I found this adorable cardigan to match the card (yes, it really happened that way around!) and popped them both in the post for baby. I know that they have now arrived and that this post is safe to share… do grab the cute Little One stamp set before it disappears, and I’ll see you again next time!

StampinByHannah Make It Monday Watercolour Stamping with the Stamparatus
I have been playing with the Stamparatus for a good couple of months now…. and I used it for just about every one of my OnStage Display Board samples, and it’s a pretty constant feature on my desk. I absolutely LOVE it, and I am SO excited that the full launch happens on the 1st June with the Annual catalogue, and you guys can get your hands on one.
This pretty card uses the Beautiful Day stamp set. I seriously can’t get enough of this set, it’s just makes such pretty and simple cards. I have a fun technique to share with you too… check the video to see how I stamped the flower!
The sentiment on this card is stamped in Night of Navy ink onto Vellum. Because ink can take a while to dry on Vellum I will often add a layer of Clear Stampin’ Emboss powder to seal in the colour.
I haven’t done any watercolour techniques for ages… I forget how much I enjoy messing around with ink and water sometimes!
Thanks so much for stopping by StampinByHannah today. Please consider signing up for my weekly Email tutorials too 🙂

StampinByHannah 2018 Annual Catalogue Paper Shares
Are you ready for the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue? I’ve spent this morning packing and preparing my 1st batch of catalogues ready to send out this coming week (my lovely husband has already offered to take them to the post office… not that I can remember which day he said he was going!). You can of course still order a FREE catalogue using THIS page, and I will add you to the list for the 2nd batch which will likely go out just as the catalogue launches on the 1st June.
If you don’t want a physical catalogue, but prefer a digital download I will be sending one out to my email list on the 1st June. You can subscribe to that HERE.
But today, I have something special for you… the launch of my 2018 Annual Catalogue Paper Shares.
I have two options for you… a Designer Series Paper Share, and a second Colour and In-Colour Paper Share.
So, what is a Paper Share?
There are 21 packs of Designer Series Paper in this years Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue… that would cost you £215 if you bought them all. Now, because I have seen all the paper, and I know how GORGEOUS they all are… I know that you are going to want them ALL. But I also understand that £215 on Paper is a lot of money. What a Share does is split that cost in to 4 pieces… making it more affordable for you to get a sample of all the pieces of Designer Series Paper.
So, you pay 1/4 of the price and get a 1/4 of each pack of Designer Series Paper.
I do have one disclaimer; there is one pack of Designer Series Paper that I’m NOT including the share, Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Speciality Paper is BEAUTIFUL but it is just too difficult to cut onto quarters.
Designer Series Paper Share
This Share includes 14 packs of Designer Series Paper:
Tea Room Speciality Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Broadway Speciality Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Graceful Glass 6 x 6 “Designer Vellum – 1 sheet of each of 12 Designs
Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Best Route Designer Series Paper – Cut into 6 x 6″ pieces
Garden Impressions 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper – 1 sheet of each of 12 Designs
Tropical Escape 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper – 1 sheet of each of 12 Designs
Wood Textures 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper – 1 sheet of each of 12 Designs
This stack of Designer Series Paper would cost you over £150 if you were to buy it all, but, if you join in with this paper share you can get a 6 x 6″ sample of each pack of paper for just £45 including Postage and Packing.
Colour and In-Colour Paper Share
This share includes a piece of each of the double sided Designs of the Colour Collection Designer Series Paper and the In-Colour Designer Series Paper. The Colour and In-Colour Paper Share includes 20 sheets of Designer Series Paper from each colour family. This share is based on 2 people sharing, and costs £35 including Postage and Packing.
How to Join in…
Please use the form below to sign up for a Paper Share. Please note that I will be sending invoices out between the 22nd and 31st of May, and that these need to be paid before midnight on the 31st May so that I can place the order on the 1st June. I hope (providing that we don’t have any back order issues) to have your shares out to you by the middle of June.
I can only offer Paper Shares to customers in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Austria. Although, if you are outside the UK there will be an extra charge for postage to cover international delivery.
No Fields Found.

StampinByHannah How to make a lidded box for Neal’s Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream
It’s been a while since I shared a 3D project on the blog. It really is something I’d like to do more of, it’s just not something that comes particularly naturally to me. However, this box came together super fast!
I LOVE the look of hand-made boxes with separate lids, but getting the lid to be the perfect size to fit is a little tricky. My method of doing this is to cut the lid ever so slightly bigger than needed. I used to at 1/16″ or 1mm, but now I tend to not even add that much! For the measurements of this box check the end of this post.
I have recently signed up as a Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic Consultant, and this hand cream arrived in my Starter Kit and it smells amazing! You can see the full range over on my NYROragnic webstore, or order a free catalogue using my Contact Me page.
Measurements:
Box Base:
Card stock; 9-1/2 x 7-1/4″ (25 x 18 cm)
Score on the long side at 2-1/4, 4-1/2, 6-3/4, and 9″ (6, 12, 18 and 24 cm)
Score on the short side at 2-1/4″ (6 cm)
Box Lid:
Designer Series Paper; 4-1/4 x 4-1/4″ (12 x 12 cm) — this is where you could also add 1/16″ or 1mm
Score on all 4 sides at 1″ or 3cm
The Neutral coloured box uses the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper which is carrying over into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue, while the Lemon Lime Twist version uses Naturally Eclectic which is only available While Stocks Last on the Retiring List!
Both boxes also use the Jar of Love stamp set, for that cute bug stamp, and the coordinating Everyday Jars framelits. I love the look of tone on tone stamping here, where you stamp with the same colour ink as your card stock. Very Classic.
