Sale-a-bration | Precious Parcel Card Kit!

There are currently 15 fabulous goodies that you can earn for FREE when you shop during Sale-a-bration just for spending £45. One of these fabulous goodies is the Precious Parcel Card Kit…

Now, I will admit that this kit made Zero sense to me in the catalogue! But I grabbed a pack anyway, because if I couldn’t work it out I’m sure that some of you were struggling with it to!

Stampin' Up! Precious Parcel Card Kit Sale-a-bration freebie

I was pleasantly surprised by this kit. It’s so easy to put together, you will have 8 cute cards in a snap! No stamping required!

What had put me off this kit was that I had managed to miss that these cards are actually proper cards, that fold in the middle and stand up! Which they are… but they are more than that, because they also have an extra space to write in the front too

So, how can you get this kit? Well, it’s available for FREE with a £45 order during Sale-a-bration! That’s it, and its yours for FREE!

There are a few questions I hear regularly about Sale-a-bration;

Do I have to spend £45 just in the Spring Summer catalogue?

Nope… there are lots of ways of spending £45 in my online store. You could have just Spring Summer products, or you might want items from the Annual catalogue, or even £45 of goodies from the clearance rack! All orders of £45 made in my online store get to choose a free Sale-a-bration gift!

There are also a few items that require a £90 spend… these are higher priced items, bigger stamp sets, dies and a fun Stamp and Designer Series paper bundle!

If I choose a Starter Kit do I get to pick Sale-a-bration goodies too?

Unfortunately not. But, you do get much much more that just one free gift! You get a fabulous, ongoing discount, inspiration and friendship… and you get to choose £170 worth of Stampin’ goodies and pay just £99! It’s definitely the best deal!

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Precious Parcel Card Kit

When does Sale-a-bration end?

Sale-a-bration ends on 31st March 2019… but be warned that some items might sell out before that date! So, if you LOVE one of the goodies, grab it soon!

Just Add Ink 444 | I Like You Oh So Eclectic!

I can’t believe I almost forgot about Just Add Ink this week! But it’s ok… because although it’s now Monday afternoon, I still wanted to join in and share this card with you.

This week’s Just Add Ink was a bit of a head scratcher… use Poppy Parade and Powder Pink plus a colour of your choice! But which colour to choose?!

After spinning my colour caddy a few times I landed on Blueberry Bushel so my colour combination looks like this;

Then came my next dilemma… which stamp set to use?! Now, I’ve used Sale-a-bration goodies a fair bit recently, and then I’ve been playing with some of the new Spring Summer stamps too. So a lot of the stamps from the Annual catalogue have been sat lonely on the shelf! This led me to pull Oh So Eclectic! This is one of my absolute favourite stamp sets, and it has a coordinating set of dies that I also adore… so decision made!

I Like you handmade card using Oh So Eclectic from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I made a card over the weekend which I will share with you later in the week, that used Shimmery White card stock and so that was still sat out on my desk, and so this was another jumping off point for this card.

First I added a Powder Pink watercolour wash to that Shimmery White card stock and set it off to dry while I used another scrap piece to stamp those leaves in Blueberry Bushel.

Both the background die and those leaves are die cut using the coordinating Eclectic Layers Thinlits dies. This is one of those packs of dies that work well on their own as well as with the stamp set PLUS they have both cutting and embossing dies too for some fabulously dimensional projects.

Pretty watercolour wash I like you card using Oh So Eclectic from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah for Just Add Ink

The card is finished with that cute little sentiment stamped in Poppy Parade and a trio of Rhinestones.

Rooted in Nature | Man’s Birthday Card

This Man’s Birthday Card has been sat in my pile of cards to blog about for about 2 months. In fact this card was received by the birthday boy before Christmas, and I’ve only just got around to sharing it with you.

Rooted in Nature birthday card for men using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

I like to keep men’s cards simple, and I love using the Rooted in Nature stamp set for that too. Here I stamped that fabulous wood piece in Gray Granite before layering over the ribbons and sentiment.

Speaking of the sentiment, this one is from the new Itty Bitty Birthday’s stamp set, and its perfect for a simple Happy Birthday! Here I’ve heat embossed it in white onto a scrap of Basic Black card stock

Quick and Simple Birthday Card using Rooted in Nature from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This card was then finished with a couple of lengths of ribbon; Burlap and Grosgrain in Call Me Clover, and one of the lovely True Gentlemen Buttons.

Just Add Ink 443 | Colouring Flowing Fountain from Stampin’ Up!

Oh dear, I am so sorry for a lack of a Facebook Live today. But, for the second time in 2 weeks I’ve come down with a cold, and no one wants to hear me cough and splutter through making a card! However, I do have my entry for this week’s Just Add Ink Challenge to make up for it!

Just Add Ink 443 Just Choose Two

It’s been ages since I did this type of challenge! Saying this my choice was made pretty easy seeing as my last post of Embossing Paste went in the bin before we moved house… as it had set like rock! Note to self: buy some more because the stuff is AWESOME! So, that left me with Colouring and Sequins!

Just Add Ink adding colour to Flowing Fountain from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I have been loving the Flowing Fountain stamp set this month. It’s so easy to colour too! I’ve added coloured highlights using a Blender pen and Night of Navy, Mango Melody and Soft Seafoam ink to match the pretty Designer Series Paper behind.

Take care of yourself card using Flowing Fountain from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I couldn’t help but use the oh so pretty Stitched Rectangles Framelits that arrived in my craft room this week on this card. You guys know that I am such a sucker for a stitched shape and so these HAD to find a place with me! I have to say though, they are slightly awkward to use on A4 card stock as they have been designed to fit US Letter sized papers. However, by purposely positioning them off centre I think you can cover this up.

Before I go, I just want to remind you that tomorrow (11th February 2019) is the last day to book onto this month’s Card Class…. you can find all the information HERE!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #036 | Lovely Lattice

This week the fabulous Design Team over at Inspire.Create are sharing a whole load of Sale-a-bration inspiration. I’ve been struggling to come up with anything for this one… which is silly because the Sale-a-bration goodies on offer this year are AWESOME! I eventually settled on using the ever so pretty Lovely Lattice stamp set, although did have a disaster with Brusho before this card was born!

Pretty Lovely Lattice card using Sale-a-bration goodies and watercolour pencils from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The Lattice stamp was stamped twice in Versamark onto Crumb Cake cardstock and heat embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss powder. I then coloured 3 of the flowers on one of the images with Watercolour Pencils, and added some green leaves on the other image.

I have to admit that these flowers are not the easiest to fussy cut, however I think it’s worth it for the overall effect.

Let's Celebrate card using Lovely Lattice from Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration with StampinByHannah

The card is finished with a sentiment stamped on Vellum and punched using the Classic Label punch, a trio of Glitter Enamel dots and full bow of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

International Blog Highlight | Foiled Encouragement

Kylies International Blog Highlight banner

It has been AGES since I took part in one of Kylie’s International Blog Highlights, and I’ve really missed it! I’m just recovering my full crafty mojo and blogging rhythm after having a (more than) pretty rough early pregnancy, moving house and Christmas, and so Kylie’s theme of Encouragement was just right up my street!

Encouragement Card using Lovely Lipstick Foil Paper FREE during Sale-a-bration from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I am LOVING the Foil Sheets that are FREE during Sale-a-bration this year. You get 8 12×12″ sheets, 4 in Lovely Lipstick and 4 in Grapefruit Grove. It’s so pretty I can’t bring myself to cover it up, so here I’ve used it as part of the focal point of this card.

The card only uses 3 colours, because I really wanted that foil sheet to sing. So the whole card is just Lovely Lipstick, Basic Black and Whisper White.

I Believe in You card using Amazing life from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The sentiment is taken from the stamp set Amazing Life, and it has been heat embossed in White onto a scrap of Basic Black. I love this look for cute little sentiments, it really makes the sentiment pop!

This card is finished with a bow in Lovely Lipstick ribbon and a trio of Glitter Enamel Dots

If you love this card, please would you pop over to Kylie’s blog and vote for me, and your other favourite Encouragement creations over on the Blog Highlight. Thank you so much.

Team Card Swap | Needlepoint Nook Friend Card

Cute Friendship card using Needlepoint Nook from Stampin' Up! with video tutorial from StampinByHannah

One of my favourite things about being a part of Stampin’ Up! is being a part of a fabulous group of like minded people. As a team we have so much fun together, not just when we get together at team and Stampin’ Up! events, but all year around on our Facebook groups. As a team we organise regular events including our recent Blog Hops (for the launch of the Spring Summer Catalogue, and the start of Sale-a-bration!) but also a fun card swap!

Card swaps are usually a BIG part of in person events, but because we only get together a few times a year, we often arrange extra ones to share our creativity and spark someone else’s imagination. Recently, we did a swap based on the new catalogue, I hope to share the cards I received with you soon, but today I thought I’d share the card I sent out

Cute Friendship card using Needlepoint Nook from Stampin' Up! with video tutorial from StampinByHannah

I made 6 of these cards, and they came together surprisingly quickly! Partly due to the fact that I can be pretty organised when it comes to mass producing cards, but also because this stamp and die set has a couple of clever features! The trio of flowers are stamped with one stamp, and die cut with one die, so they are super quick. Also the pretty label, takes two steps, the die collection has a die which cuts the stitched marks, but its actually cut out with a punch! Awesome!

Video Tutorial

My favourite part of this suite though is the fun stitched details. A few of the dies have stitched marks on, and you guys know how much I love a stitched die! But also the stamps and Designer Series Papers also feature pretty stitched details, and actually look like you’ve hand stitched your projects… just with a stamp!

One thing though, this is a stamp set that requires a gentle application of ink, as if you over ink you’re at risk of loosing that pretty stitched details. I would suggest stamping onto some grid paper to get your hand in before you stamp onto your projects with this one!

Stitched Friend card using Needlepoint Nook from Stampin' up! with StampinByHannah

Want to join in with our next team card swap? All you need to do is join our fabulous team! Sale-a-bration is a great time to grab a Starter Kit and join Stampin’ Up! with a kit that costs you just £99 but allows you to choose £170 worth of Stampin’ Up! goodies, or you could choose a kit that costs £125 and gives you a fabulous Craft tote bag too! You can find out more about joining during Sale-a-bration HERE, or you can join right NOW!

Facebook Live | Hey Love Treat Bags

I am in love with the cute Hey Love stamp set, and these adorable Treat bags which Stampin’ Up! have featured as a You Can Make It in the Spring Summer Catalogue. I love these You Can Make It ideas; quick and easy makes complete with a shopping list! Awesome! You can find them in each catalogue, or HERE in my Stampin’ Up! webstore

Fun Valentines Treat Bags using Hey Love from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah for Facebook Live

The shopping list for these cute bags can be found at the bottom of this post, but I have also added a few extra goodies that I used to make these my own.

The cute Gorilla (now known as Paul!) is really easy to colour with Stampin’ Blends. Actually, there are only two colours of Blends pens used on this treat bags; Light Smoky Slate and Light Flirty Flamingo. To add dimension each Paul is outlined first with the Smoky Slate, then coloured in with the same pen. To add more dimension I also added an extra layer of colour to areas that would be in shadow.
