I love the simplicity of these baskets. The eggs are yet another Lidl find – and don’t they match well with Strawberry Slush!
These baskets are finished with one of my most used stamp and punch combinations – Petite Petals. Stamped onto Strawberry Slush in Sahara Sand ink, for an almost tone on tone look.

Sale-a-bration, the biggest Sale of the Stampin’ Up! calender ends next Tuesday – 31st March 2015. Sale-a-bration allows you to select a free gift with each £45 you spend. There are a whole heap of stamp sets and embellishments available, as well as a few items from the Annual Catalogue – Fast Fuse refils, and Embossing folders! Please note that the stamp sets are while stocks last.
To qualify for a free item you just need to spend £45 (or multiples of £45) before the 31st of March – the online shop will give you the available options for you free gift before checkout.
So, I have a card today featuring the gorgeous Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper – Best Year Ever!
The sentiment is taken from Indescribable Gift, punched with the Decorative Label punch. I then also punched a label from Hello Honey Cardstock (the same colour as the card base), cut it in half and attached it on either side of the sentiment. Finishing the card with some loops of Early Espresso Bakers Twine.

I was away last week visiting some family in Bristol, and we popped out for a loaf of bread. The shop most local to my grandparents is Lidl, and I have to admit, I have never been through the door (I usual opt to drive to the nearest big name supermarket up the road), but for a loaf of bread we decided we’d give it a try. Well, it may have been the most expensive loaf of bread I have ever bought! Because I found the Easter Chocolates!
One of the many things I love about Stampin’ Up! is the colour selection, and when I spotted these eggs they called out to me in Stampin’ Up! colours – Pichachio Pudding! Crisp Cantaloupe! So Saffron!
These boxes could hold way more than the 3 eggs I have put in, but I stupidly only bought one pack! Silly me!
Measurements:
Cardstock – 5 7/8 x 8 1/4″ (14.8 x 21 cm)
Score on the long side at 2, 4, 6, and 8″ (5, 10, 15, and 20 cm)
Score on the short side at 2, 4 1/4 and 5 1/2″ (5, 10.5, and 14 cm)

Its not long now until Easter, and so this week I have a whole week of Easter themed projects all lined up and ready for you!
This is a really simple card, and actually the camera hasn’t picked up the stunning details of the glitter I have added to the centres of the flowers from the lovely Indescribable Gift stamp set, stamped here in Pool Party. I dotted the 2-way glue pen around the flowers, and added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
I love this stamp, it’s so beautiful just as a line image – here its been coloured sparingly with the Stampin’ Write Markers in Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, and Pear Pizzazz.

Ok, so I will admit I had sort of forgotten about Sale-a-bration on Sunday this week! So I apologise for the quality of the photo, but it is all a little bit last minute!
This week has been a little crazy round here – a long overdue visit to the grandparents at the beginning of the week, followed by a manic two days in the office, wedding stationary consultations, fabulous one-to-one training with my wonderful upline, a friends wedding, and a craft fair (today) has seen me slightly out of the game. I have had to cancel my Crafty Crop this month, as I just can’t be in two places at once. I’m so sorry, and but I have made a bonus blog project next week to make up for it!
So, card for today. Today is the very last card for Sale-a-bration on Sunday! I cannot believe how quickly the last 3 months have gone! you still have a week to get your Sale-a-bration orders in, and next week I shall round up all the things I have made with the lovely Sale-a-bration goodies this year
I could not let Sale-a-bration end without using the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper one last time! This time, Its sponged with Pear Pizzazz Ink, and the stamped using the Best Day Ever Stamp set.
I love the layers under the sentiment too – Decorative Label, Modern Label and then the sentiment on a 1 3/4″ circle

My fancy fold card this week is a repeat! I know, its shocking! but I didn’t do a video tutorial last time! so here we go!
Most of the instructions as usual can be found in the video, and measurements are below. I have used the Petal Potpourri Stamp set, and used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to create this lovely layered flowers, in the latest In-Colours; Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, and Tangelo Twist.
Measurements:
Cardstock – 5 7/8 x 8 1/4″ (21 x 14.8 cm)
Score on the short side at 2″ (5 cm)
Score on the long side (with that 2″ score line at the bottom) just down as far as the 2″score at – 2 1/8, 5 1/4, 6 1/4 and 7 1/8″ (5.5, 13.5, 16, and 18 cm)
Then score at 4 1/8 (10.5 cm) down the width of the card.
Fold the score lines into alternating mountain and valley folds.

When I’m creating I find that I’ll use the same products a few times on a few projects, then usually when I’m writing them all up for you guys, I split them up into different weeks. But I just had to share these cards with you!
I’ve been loving using the Something Lacy background stamp – I know it’s in the Wedding section of the Spring/Summer catalogue, but think outside of the box with me for a while. Although I love it stamped in subtle colours like Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand, I wanted something a little brighter for my customer Thank You cards this month … are these bright enough for you?
They use the latest selection of In-Colours; Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist.
The Thank You comes from the Sale-a-bration set Simply Wonderful – I am really going to miss it! It had featured on quite a number of projects recently – Don’t forget Sale-a-bration ends on the 31st March, order before then to get one of these lovelys delivered to your post box!

Just wanted to pop a quick post in today, I know, I don’t normally post on a Wednesday, but this is why!
Its almost time for my April Techniques Class! I’m calling it April, but actually its the 31st of March! As always I will be offering this as a live class on that date, but also I am offering it as Virtual Class for the whole of April, as well as you being able to select this class as a private class or party in your own home!
So, what are we making?
Featuring the Regarding Dahila’s Stamp set we will be making 3 cards with 3 different techniques, and hopefully getting nice and inky in process!
Class includes all cardstock and DSP required to make the cards, as well as full written and video instructions to make all 3 cards.
Class costs £10, or £20 with the stamp set -payable via PayPal to[email protected] (please select gift / friends, otherwise I am charged 4%!)

I love making gifts for customers, each month each customer receives a handmade card, and maybe even a little something extra! I used to send these out so they would arrive with your order, but I can’t keep up, so now, I have a posting day at the end of each month – if you have ordered recently and haven’t received anything from me, let me know! It might be that you have made a ‘No Contact’ order, in which case, you’ll need to log back into your Stampin’ Up! account and change your preferences, as I am unable to contact anyone who leaves a No Contact order – even if it is to say ‘Thanks!’
So, onto the post for today, I made these for the ladies that attended my March Techniques Class last week!
I am always writing lists, and so love a good notepad, even more when they are pretty!
They use the stamp set from my April Techniques class – Regarding Dahlias, for the stamped front cover. I have personalised each one with the attendees first initial using the Sophisticated Serifs! (LOVE!) And they are so easy to make!
Measurements:
I would suggest that you measure your notepads carefully and alter these measurements to fit.
The notepads I bought were Jotter Sized (aka: very random!). Measure the height and depth of your notepad and add an 1 1/2″ (3 cm) to find the length of cardstock you need and then take the width for the notepad for the width of cardstock.
My notebooks measure : 21 x 7 x 0.4 cm (8 5/16 x 2 13/16 x 1/8″)
and so my cover measures 24 x 7 cm (9 1/2 x 2 13/16)
Scored on the long side at 21.3 and 21.8 cm (8 3/8 and 8 9/16″)
The Whisper White layer for stamping measures 21.5 x 6.5 cm (2 9/16 x 8″)
