Technique Tuesday Blog Hop | Watercolour with Irresistible Blooms from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another Technique Tuesday Blog Hop! I know, I sort of dropped the ball on blog hops in February… but April I am back, and raring to go! Things have been a little busy, and I’ve had a massive change in my day job (as in I’m currently waiting to start a new one, going back to shifts. I am SO excited!). Anyway, so that’s sort of meant that I haven’t had much brain space for crafting or blogging… but I know that I’m about to have more time again, and that feels amazing!

So, this month’s technique is Watercolour! This might be my most favourite technique… I just love getting inky and messy (in a controlled sort of way!), and making something totally unique every time. I’ve used the Irresistible Blooms stamp set and dies from the Online Exclusives, these are sort of limited edition and so if you LOVE them, I’d move fairly quickly to make sure you’re not disappointed.

Each of the flower was stamped and heat embossed in White before being watercoloured using a Stampin’ Up! reinker and a bit of water to keep the colours really vibrant. I’ve used Poppy Parade, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue and Gorgeous Grape.

InspireINK | New Year New Project with Hand Drawn Dots from Stampin’ Up!

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah and our first InspireINK blog hop of 2023! This month we are celebrating all things new with a fun theme of New Year New Project. So, I’ve reached for my absolute favourite new stamp in my craft room… Hand Drawn Dots! This is one of those stamp sets that leapt out at me the first time I looked through the new Stampin’ Up! catalogue, it just HAD to have a spot on my stamp shelf.

Hello card using Hand Drawn Dots from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

While I was on a theme of favourites, it felt only right to pull my all time favourite Stampin’ Up! colour; Blackberry Bliss, and a set of dies that landed in my room this week that I hadn’t used yet; Alphabet a la Mode. These dies are AWESOME! I would highly recommend getting some Adhesive Sheet to use with them though because they are very thin.

The Dots are stamped in Rich Razzleberry, whilst the rest of the card is Blackberry Bliss. I felt that it needed a little more texture and so I added some ruffles of White Seam Binding ribbon behind the letters. The head embossed sentiment is from Thanks a Bunch (Which is FREE as part of Sale-a-bration!)

Pootlers Team Blog Hop | Share a Milkshake…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for our Team Blog Hop to celebrate the January-April Mini Catalogue from Stampi’n’ Up!

I have been having heaps of fun playing with a few of the new products, but the Share a Milkshake Bundle was just the most obvious choice to share with you today. I absolutely LOVE sharing time with my team mates (although I don’t think I have ever shared a milkshake with any of them… never say never though!)

I have sort of ended up with ice-cream / 1950’s diner colours here… completely by accident! The card base is Flirty Flamingo, while the Ice Cream Glass is Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay (both stamped off).

I love a few bits of this bundle… don’t get me started on that net die cut! But, how cute is the Milkshake top, with the little slit in it, just perfect for the straw! LOVE!

Share it Sunday | More fun with Kindest Gnomes!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Share it Sunday blog hop. I have had parts of this card floating around on my desk for a while. I actually coloured the Gnome and the Toadstool at the last in person team event, which was back in September! Last weekend I co-hosted a virtual team stamping day, and managed to get them onto a card.

As well as the Kindest Gnomes stamp set and Gnome dies, this card uses the Stylish Shapes dies and Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper, with a hint of in blending in the background

InspireINK | Advent with the Kindest Gnomes!

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this weekend for the fabulous InspireINK blog hop. This month we are celebrating all things Advent as we are now firmly in the countdown to Christmas! I have to admit, I was skipping this month, however, I was in Sainbury’s yesterday and spotted the very cute Daily Milk Little Robins… and just had to make cute box to put them in!

This very dinky box is one I have shared before… although it was back in 2017! Gosh, that feels like a very long time ago… before we moved house or had children. It’s super easy to put together, and opens from the bottom so you don’t need to worry about how to keep the top closed.

I’ve gone for a Pool Party box, and used the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper to decorate. Keeping it simple, mostly because its a bit last minute… but also, because this paper is so gorgeous it needed to be centre stage!

Measurements:

Card stock; 17 x 15 cm

Score on the long side at; 4. 8. 12 and 16 cm

Score on the short side at 2, 6, 10 and 13 cm

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Yeti to Party

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for a fabulous Crafty Challenge blog hop! This month we were challenged to create with an unusual colour combination; Basic Black, Garden Green, Fresh Freesia and Smokey Slate. I really love these colours together, but I would NEVER have come up with putting them together.

One of my favourite stamp sets from this years July-December Mini catalogue is Yeti to Party, and so I double challenged myself to come up with a card that used both the colour combination AND that fabulous Yeti! And I think I succeeded!

The yeti and presents are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and then coloured with a combination of Stampin’ Blends and Stampin’ Up! Ink and a blender pen.

I am also LOVING this embossing folder; Whimsical Trees, which I have embossed in Basic White and then added some Fresh Freesia ink over the top with a Blending Brush.

You Are Amazing | Pride Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today, for a really fun blog hop celebrating all things pride! When I first signed up to do this hop, my first thought was rainbows… but then Rainbows of Happiness retired at the end of May… and so I had a bit of a re-think.

I stuck with the rainbow idea though! I probably need to move the Ray of Light stamp away from my desk, feels like I’m using it on every project at the moment, but it was just too perfect not to use it for this one. I added the rainbow colours to the stamp on at a time using a Blending Brush, and stamped it using my Stamparatus. It has got a bit muddy… but I think it still works. What do you think?

I kept my Stamparatus out to stamp the sentiment from Amazing Phrasing, to make sure it was super black, and finished the card with a trio of black Classic Matte Dots!

You can find the supply list for this card HERE.

2022 July – December Mini Catalogue Blog Hop | Splendid Day

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! I am SO excited to start sharing some of the goodies from the July-December mini catalogue with you all… and what a better way to kick of the catalogue that with a blog hop! I have a heap of blog events coming this month, giving you LOTS of inspiration, so do keep watching for more….

Today thought, I wanted to share something that’s not particularly festive… I know that we all think of Christmas when it comes to the “Autumn-Winter” catalogue, but now that it starts in middle of summer, Stampin’ Up! have changed things a bit and we have a beautiful suite that really lends itself to weddings!

If you’ve seen my Instagram recently, you’ll know I’m a bit obsessed with this background stamp! It’s called Ray of Light and its actually in the Annual catalogue, but it works so well with so many different stamp sets, that I couldn’t help but pair it with Splendid Day for a fun Celebration card.

This card is monotone… a look I really LOVE… in Basic White and Soft Sea Foam. So pretty!

Check out the Supply List for this card HERE!
