Make It Monday | Tag Topper Chocolate Pockets

Make It Monday Chocolate pocket using the Tag Topper Punch from Stampin' Up! UK

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

Hello! Wow, where did last week go?! Oh, well, it’s Monday again – time for Make It Monday!

I spent the weekend with a group of awesome women; crafting, eating and having heaps of fun! I have rambled for hours about how much I LOVE Stampin’ Up! and this weekend was a prime example of why I love it. This weekend wasn’t a Stampin’ Up! organised event, but a team event, organised by one of my lovely Stampin’ friends. Someone I would NEVER have met without this company, and I spend the whole weekend crafting (how often to we get to do that!), it was great to reset, take time for me, and I am so ready for what the next few weeks will bring!

Pop of Paradise Tag Topper Team Swap using Stampin' Up! UK productsHow cute are these! One of the things that we do when we get together is share and swap projects – we call them swaps, and its a massive part of any Stampin’ Up! event. Now, when I go to Stampin’ Up! organised events I make maybe 50 swaps, but because this was a smaller team event I made a swap for each person – so this time I made 22 of these. Actually I made 24, but that meant that I could leave a couple to say Thank You to the housekeepers / receptionist etc at the Hotel we stayed at.

Aren’t they super cute! Each pocket contains a bar of children’s chocolate (the same brand as those eggs with the toy in the middle!) – because chocolate / sweeties are another BIG theme at these events. James laughs at me, he always knows when I’m prepping for a crafty weekend away (he never remembers, no matter how many times I tell him I’m going!) when he sees the bags and bags of sweets sat in the office!

Make It Monday Chocolate pocket using the Tag Topper Punch from Stampin' Up! UK

These pockets use the Pop of Pink Speciality Designer Series Paper and coordinating Pop of Paradise Stamp set. I did also make some using the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper too, seeing as I managed to cut enough paper for 18 pockets and then ran out of paper – Math isn’t my strong point!

Measurements:

Designer Series Paper – 4 x 4 1/2″ (10 x 12 cm)

Score on the long side at 2 and 4″ (5 and 10 cm)

Tag Topper Punch Chocolate Pocket using Stampin' Up! UK products

The pockets are super simple to put together (as you can tell, a 5 minute Make It Monday video! even with my rambling is a miracle!). They are finished with the Tag Topper Punch at the top, and a staple at the bottom. Like I said I made 24 of these and it took me about an hour, from start to finish.

I would LOVE to welcome you to our next crafty weekend! Have you ever thought about joining Stampin’ Up! and becoming a part of my team of Stampin’ Friends? check out my Join My Team page, or drop me a message today, I am sure you won’t regret it!

This Christmas | Large Giftbag

Large gift bag featuring This Christmas Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

I am starting to get ready for a very crafty Christmas this year! I have plans for heaps of cards, packaging and a scattering of decorations, baking, and maybe even some handcrafted presents this year. As usual I am on a pretty tight budget as saving for our house deposit ramps up again (I really wanted to move before Christmas this year, but somehow this year has become rather expensive what with changing jobs and travelling up and down the country to see unwell relatives and to attend weddings!), so this year’s Christmas is going to have to be a rather creative one – which of course I will share completely with you!

As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator I had the opportunity this month to pre-order some goodies from the mainly Christmas-themed Autumn / Winter catalogue, which launches on 1st September. However, due to my busy work schedule and 10 days holiday I have barely even opened the box! I know, it’s shocking isn’t it, I am hoping to get some crafty time this week to catch up!

Large gift bag featuring This Christmas Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

This gift bag is uses a combination of both Annual Catalogue products and sneak-peak goodies from the new Autumn / Winter release. The paper is This Christmas Speciality Designer Series Paper, which you can find in the Annual catalogue. This paper is gorgeous! a lighter weight that our usual DSP, but still strong enough for a gift bag for a lighter gift; I’m thinking bag bombs or chocolates here!

The gift bag itself is made using the Gift Bag Punch Board. I LOVE this gadget for a quick packaging idea, super simple – the instructions are even printed on the board itself so I can’t forget how it works! This particular bag uses the L sizes on the board, and a full 12 x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) piece of Designer Series Paper

Christmas gift bag using This Christmas Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! UKNow onto my sneak-peak! This simple gift tag uses a stamp from the Peace This Christmas stamp set (Annual catalogue) but is heat embossed in Glitter Embossing Powder – yes, that’s glitter that doesn’t come off! Yay! I’ve only had a quick play with this stuff so far, but I can safely say I would expect a VERY glittery Christmas this year if you’re coming to my house!

The other sneaky-peak is that stunning Cherry Cobbler Silky Taffeta ribbon comes in a combo pack with a spool of Emerald Envy too! so pretty.

Make It Monday | Customer Thank You Gifts!

Make It Monday featuring Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! UK for Summer Customer Thank You Gifts

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

Hello! Welcome to Make It Monday, the day of the week I release an awesome new video tutorial for you lovely people! Yay!

I am so excited about today’s post, mainly because I’m hoping that the first batch of these have arrived with the lovely people that shopped with me last month, but also it’s my 1st wedding anniversary today! I’m off to Newcastle for the day with my lovely husband who surprised me a few weeks ago by getting tickets for Chicago the Musical for tonight! 😀

Right, so what have I got for you today? Customer Thank You gifts!

Make It Monday featuring Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! UK for Summer Customer Thank You Gifts

These super cute envelopes each contain a wrapped tea bag! I took delivery of these teabags a few weeks ago, and the smell that filled my office when I opened the box was delightful, so I’m really hoping that you enjoy them as much I as I did!

So far I have two different styles of these, but I can see me making a whole heap of these over the coming weeks and months, using different Designer Series Papers, stamps and colours of card stock! The one with the pears uses the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper while the other is the Affectionately Yours Speciality DSP.

They are so easy to make with the Envelope Punch Board. I really don’t use this fabulous tool as much as I should! super handy for those awkward sized cards where a standard envelope just wont do.

Card stock – 1″ x 7″ for the belly band, plus a few scraps for the punching.

Make It Monday | Fresh Fruit Box

Fresh Fruit Fresh Stand Designer Series Paper Candle Box using Stampin' Up! UK Products

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

I have a different sort of project to share with you today. Over the past few weeks I have been sharing card videos for Make It Monday, but today I thought I would make a box instead. I was totally inspired by the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper on this one, when my pack of paper arrived I pulled out all the papers and immediately thoguht of these awesome candles that have been in my candle draw for AGES! and I couldn’t find them – I was so disappointed, but I found a couple last week and so this box was born….

Make it Monday Video Tutorial Fresh Fruit From Stampin' Up! UK

How cute are these?! and although I made them with Giant Tealights in mind I’m sure that these would also fit some of those very nice chocolate balls too.

The box is simple to put together, in a Pizza box style. I didn’t add a thumb notch on the Melon Mambo version but the Old Olive one I used my 1″ circle punch to take out a little piece at the front just big enough to put your thumb nail in for easier opening

Fresh Fruit Fresh Stand Designer Series Paper Candle Box using Stampin' Up! UK ProductsThe flower is taken from the Fresh Fruit stamp set. I’m totally loving the 2-step stamping effect of this stamp set, with the solid layer stamped off once before stamping on the project for a lighter tone, and the outline image stamped at full strength. I’m also enjoying this colour combination; Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive, very fresh – great for Summer (if it ever arrives!)

Stampin' Up! UK chocolate box video tutorial

Stampin' Up! 12 weeks of Christmas

I am so sad that this is series of Christmas projects is nearly over! We have reached week 11 of 12, so only next week to go 🙁 I do hope that you have enjoyed this series as much as I have enjoyed making it!

This week I have a fabulous box project for you, that would make a great box for home-made chocolates or truffles, or as a table gift on your Christmas table

Stampin' Up! UK 12 weeks of christmas table gifts

These are quite large boxes, and I have to admit, they are quite indulgent and use a WHOLE SHEET of A4 (or 8 1/2 x 11!) but they are a great size – 2 x 2 x 4″ (5 x 5 x 10 cm)

Measurements:

Card stock = 8 x 10″ (20 x 25 cm)

Score on the short side at 2 and 6″ (5 and 15 cm)

Score on the long side at 2, 4, 6, and 8″ (5, 10, 15 and 20 cm)

Designer Series Paper measures 2 x 8 1/2″ (5 x 22 cm)

I’m loving the belly band on these boxes, using the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper, and A Little Something stamp set.

12 Weeks of Christmas | Santa Punch Art Tag

Stampin' Up! UK Santa punch art

Stampin' Up! 12 weeks of Christmas

I will be the first to admit, punch art isn’t usually my thing, and this is totally CASe’d from another blogger, but I just loved this tag idea.

Stampin' Up! UK Santa punch art

This cute Santa is  made using a small selection of punched and a few scraps of card stock. I have two versions, on where Santa has a full head of hair, and one where he has a little bald spot going on. I’m swaying more towards baldy Santa, but I love them both!

Card stock – 2 x 8 1/2″ (5 x 21.5 cm), folded in half

On Stage Live | Team Gift

Stampin' Up! On Stage Live team gift

Hello!

As your reading this I am in Brussels at this years On Stage Live event with Stampin’ Up!®. I have been looking forward to this since last November! I love attending Stampin’ Up!® events, they really know how to throw a great party!

I am posting heaps of pictures of my travels on Instagram and Facebook, so pop over and take a look

Stampin' Up! UK On Stage Live swaps

I’ll be sharing my main swap tomorrow, but today I thought I’d share my little team gift. Us demonstrators love to share, and swap ideas and inspiration. I’ve made a few of these simple gift bags using the Gift Bag Punch Board for some of the girls in the same team as me (plus my wonderful upline Pootles!)

They just contain a few mint sweeties (all the excitement, we are going to NEED some extra sugar) and are super simple to put together, In actual fact I cut and scored these at home, ready for a bit of hotel room crafting on arrival in Brussels – don’t think these would travel well.

Stampin' Up! On Stage Live team gift

The bags themselves are all made from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper stack, and tied with a piece of Delightful Dijon (Gold!) Dotty Lace Trim. The tag is a piece of Whisper White cut to 2 x 3 1/2″ punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  The bag is the small sized gift bag, as the instructions on the Gift Bag Punch Board suggest, with Designer Series Paper cut to 6 x 10″ (15 x 25.5 cm)

I’ve pulled out my favourite Christmas stamp set again – Santa’s Gifts – and stamped Santa in Cherry Cobbler, with a Delightful Dijon present, and Soft Sky Star.
