A Fruity Thank You

Customer Thank You Cards using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

If you have ever placed an order with me you will know that I love to send a Thank You card to my customers. If you have ever shopped using my Code Club Code, you will know that you guys get even more! I just LOVE to spoil my customers, you are all awesome, and I wouldn’t be here without you.

I made a stack of these Thank You cards last week for the ladies that attended my Catalogue Launch Party at the beginning of the month. They also got cake and a notebook on the night too.

These cards feature the stamp set that is going to be my Stamp of the Month in July – Fresh Fruit! I have been LOVING making heaps of samples using this set, saying that there is fruit to be seen here! Just pretty flowers…

The colour combination was totally inspired by the matching Designer Series Paper – Fruit Stand – and I have used Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Watermelon Wonder on these cards. The Thank You was stamped first in Peekaboo Peach and masked off using a bit of sticky note, then the flower and leaves were added, and the cards finished with a strip of Designer Series Paper.

Make It Monday using Thankful Thoughts Swirly Scribbles From Stampin' Up! UK

I LOVE a rainbow! I have been trying to get this card made for a few weeks, ever since the Rainbow Challenge Tag appeared on YouTube – Thanks to Dawn Woleslagle of WPlus9!

The Swirly Scribbles thinlits are super awesome! I am obsessed with that die cut, and the other swirly bits and pieces – they make a great accent to any card. I’ have die cut it here in Basic Black as the card is so bright and colourful, but it looks good in any colour

Pootles Team Blog Hop Annual Catalogue Jar of Love Stampin' Up! UK

Thank you so much for joining us for our Pootler’s Team Blog Hop! This time we are celebrating the launch of the 2016 Annual Catalogue. I’ve had a sneaky peak of everyone’s projects and I know that you are going to love them ALL! As demonstrator’s we have had this new catalogue in our hands now for 2 months, and when I first clapped eyes on the front cover I wanted the fabulous flowers on the front cover. Those flowers are from the Jar of Love stamp set (page 75) and I love them even more in real life than I did when I first saw the front cover!

This card was really simple to put together, a little time consuming with all the die cutting, but well worth it! The flowers in the jar are super clever, they are one stamp, that stamps 2 flowers (well, 2 stamps I suppose as they are 2-step stamped) and then the die cuts them into two seperate flower pieces – Awesome! I actually think that I love the dies more than I love the stamps in this bundle – I mean that large jar has 2 dies; one for the outside edge and one of the middle!

I do have a slight confession to make, the Smoky Slate Bakers Twine which I have used to create the bow has retired, usually I take everything on the retiring list off my shelves and out of my drawers before you can’t buy them any more, but somehow this piece of twine got missed – and I hadn’t realised it had gone until I had finished writing this post! Oops!

Hello Team Member Card using Pop of Paradise from Stampin' Up! UK

I love spoiling my new Team Members, and always send out a special Welcome to the Team pack to each person that chooses me to become their Team Leader. My ‘Welcome Pack’ always includes a card and usually a special little something from me, sometimes its a notebook, sometimes sweeties, but this month I’m sending products! Pinkies Blog Hop | Annual Catalogue Launch

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop! We’re showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using products from the new Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalogue. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

I just love this cupcake! I’m a sucker for a 2-step stamp set that this one even has coordinating dies (that come bundled together for 10% off!) I made this card last week with the ladies that came to my Catalogue Launch Party, we had so much fun stamping and adding Wink of Stella to this 0 Calorie treat!

The cupcake is stamped in two parts; the cake base and then the icing. The cake base is stamped in Sahara Sand and Tip Top Taupe, while we used Perfect Plum (stamped off once), Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry to create the icing.

Once we had the cupcake stamped, we die cut the pieces using the coordinating dies and added them to the card over the loops of Copper Metallic Thread with a few dimensionals.

Sending a Smile Your Way

I have a new obseccion. I’m letting you know this now so that you are warned that you are likely to see heaps and heaps of this thing in the next few weeks. I LOVE the new cooper embossing powder! Love Love Love! It is so pretty and a great alternative to Gold.

This card was super easy to make. If I am remembering correctly it was one of the first cards I made with the Love and Affection suite, and I love the copper accents. Not only does it use the copper embossing powder but the Designer Series Paper also has copper foiling details too! I have also recently received the copper metallic thread too, and it is stunning!

Global Design Project #040 | Jars of Watercolour

Thank You watercolour Card featuring Jar of Love from Stampin' Up! Uk

Hello! I cannot believe it has been weeks since I joined in over at the Global Design Project! I have missed it, this weeks challenge is to CASE the Designer. This type of challenge always makes me a little nervous as the girls and guys over at GDP are so super talented, but I’m giving it a go

I love the stamp set Shawn De Oliveira has used on this card, and I almost used it as well. But I was totally drawn to the layout of this card, with the offset panel. So I thought I would use that instead.

Jar of Love was one of the stamp sets I knew I HAD to have when I first looked at the catalogue, those jars are just so adorable! I was actually making a different card when this one sort of appeared as if from no-where (I’ll be sharing the other card here on Saturday!)

That watercolour background was so easy to create; add ink to a large acrylic block and use an Aqua Painter to pick up the colour, and wash it onto the Watercolour Paper. I repeated it several times to get an intense wash of Flirty Flamingo.

I cant get enough of that pretty side panel either, stamped on Pool Party ink onto Pool Party card stock for a great tone on tone effect – similar to what Shawn had done with his card too!

I couldn’t use Jar of Love without using a jar could I?! so this one is stamped in Smoky Slate, with Pool Party ‘water’ and a bow of Flirty Flamingo. That ‘Thanks’ is in the same stamp set, is stamped in Smoky Slate too.

Designer Series Paper Shares

Hello! I am super excited to announce this years Product Shares. I am starting off with the Designer Series Paper but let me know if you would be interested in getting samples of ribbon or other embellishments too!

There are so many great packs of Designer Series Paper in this years Annual Catalogue, how do you know which one you want to buy first!!! grab a piece of the action by joining in one of my Paper Shares.

Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is awesome, it coordinates perfectly with not just the Stampin’ Up! range of colours, but also some great stamp sets, Washi tapes and other accessories. This year there are 4 packs of Specialty Designer Series Paper, 6 packs of standard Designer Series Paper and 3 Designer Series Paper Stacks.

This years Designer Series Product share includes a piece of every single pattern of Designer Series Paper in the 2016 Annual Catalogue, including the Specialty Designer Series Paper packs and 6×6 paper stacks. That is a whole heap of paper! You will receive a 6×6″ sample of each pattern, except for those single sided sheets where you will receive a 3×6″ sample.

Please note that this share does not include the In-colour or colour families paper stacks.

How It Works

In order to run the Paper share I require 8 participants per group. Please use the form below to register your interest. Once I receive 8 interested individuals I will drop you an email and request payment. I am only able to process the order once I have received your payments so there will be a 24 hour cut off, if you haven’t provided payment within this time your place will be offered to the next person.

The Cost

So, if you were to buy each pack of cardstock yourself it would cost you over £135! however, to get a share of each pack of Designer Series Paper will cost £25 including Postage and Packing. Each pack of paper will be packaged seperately, with a label on each with the name of the paper and the colours used too!

Oh! Jar of Love How You Light Up My Life!

I am so sorry for the super corny title of this blog post, but I have been sat at my desk for about 10 minutes trying to think of something and that was the best I could do! I’m writing this first thing on Monday morning (for all you are reading this on Tuesday!) and its a strange week for me, I’m a lady of leisure this week as I finished my previous day job on Saturday, and don’t start the new one until next week. I am so excited for this new challenge! but instead of having an easy and relaxing week off I thought I would plan heaps of stuff for you instead! Right, time for the card! We made this card last week at my Catalogue Launch Party. We had a great time making this card, and those little fireflies – so cute!

I have been playing around with card sizes recently and this is 4 x 4″. We stamped on the card base first with Bermuda Bay ink on Bermuda Bay card stock, before using the Bermuda Bay to stamp the jar on a 3 3/4 x 3″ piece of Whisper White. The sentiment was hand cut, but that bow is die cut using the coordinating framelits.

I had been struggling to find colour combinations for Peekaboo Peach, I’m just not a orange girl! but I really enjoyed this combination of Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach, Smoky Slate and So Saffron.
