Week in Review – Welcome to July!

Isn’t this year flying by! Things are really hotting up around here; not only am I now 5 weeks away from my Big Day, but we are in the middle of a heat wave AND Stampin’ Up! have given us some awesome hot hot hot deals this week!

What have I been up to?

Well, we really are into full Wedding Countdown mode here! Just 38 days to go! I’m still working on Orders of Service and the Seating plan, but we are nearly there now. I took James last Friday to buy his Wedding Suit, he had such a great day. We walked into the suit shop, said “Black Suit Please” and the shop assistant appeared with the correct size! James couldn’t believe shopping could be that easy! I doubt it will ever happen again though

I’m super busy this week at the day job, looking forward to a week off next week, when I can get everything in order ready for the 8th August! I’m starting to get excited now. People keep asking me if I am nervous, I’m really not, I’m more nervous about falling over halfway down what is quite a long aisle than I am saying the big ‘I Do’! I’m sure that will change!

Right, that it for me today, I’m off to enjoy our one day of summer!

Classes and Workshops

Have you seen that I have added an extra tab under ‘Classes and Workshops’? I thought it might be nice for you to see at a glance all the classes I currently have available for the following month!

There is now less that a week until booking closes for my July technique class. This month we are using An Open Heart to make 5 (yes, that’s more cards that usual!) gorgeous cards for all occasions.

What have I been up to?

Well, heaps actually! I worked at the day job last weekend, so have been spending the first few days of this week playing catch-up. I have a super exciting post coming on Saturday that I have been working really hard to sort out, which is now ready to go! eeek! I am so excited about that one! As well as planning for Team Training, and starting to get ahead with the blog ready for being away for 3 weeks!

Wedding plans are also really taking shape now, less that 7 weeks to go! We’ve been on a bit of a crash diet this week, trying to get ready for that bikini on the honeymoon! I must get back to the shop to try my dress on again. My Orders of Service are arriving today so I really should get on with making the covers, but I think I’ll save that for Sunday when the madness has calmed.

What a great selection again this week! I used the Decorative Dots Embossing folder in yesterdays project! and I may just go back and order some more! The And Many More stamp set is a great addition to your stamp collection with really useful sentiments for all occasions from birthdays to valentines, mothers day to graduation.

I have 3 events in July, my usual Technique Class – each month we feature one stamp set, this month we are using An Open Heart – A brand new Kit Class – making that wonderful Perpetual Birthday Calender – and a Stamp-a-Stack – a brand new class where we make 10 cards in two hours (2 of 5 designs) this months theme is Birthday!

Family Life!

This week has been super busy here at crafty towers! We are now 7 weeks away from our wedding, so at the weekend I headed to Alton Towers with some friends for my Hen celebrations! We had such a great day even if it did rain continuously! But that just meant no queues and more rides.

I only have 2 days off from the day job this week, today and tomorrow as so am cramming in some much needed crafty play time with some brand new products that landed on my doorstep last night, as well as some much needed wedding planning time; orders of service and table plans are the order of the day I think!

Can’t wait to speak to you all again next week!

I had such a busy week since the last time we spoke, I managed to survive a long weekend at work (always a miracle!), complete an order of 75 Orders of Service for a customer, re-design the website (do you like it? I think I’m in love!), as well as the usual mass of blog posts, videos, projects and customer orders.

I have a heap of things to tell you about today! Yesterday was the launch of the brand new Stampin’ Up! catalogue! Yay! I am still sending catalogues out for free (provided you are in the UK) just complete this form for a copy, or there is a digital PDF download version available in the sidebar. My monthly newsletter is due to hit your inboxes today (or tomorrow depending on some external factors – like how fast YouTube is feeling today!), you can subscribe at any time by using the link found at the end of all of my blog posts.

You guys already know what a fan of tag topper punches I am, this ornate one is carrying over from the Spring/Summer catalogue, and is a great addition to your punch collection. Stampin' Up! UK Teesside Classes and Workshops Cardmaking

I have updated the Classes and Workshops page. You can now see a full list of Classes, Workshops, and events through until the end of the year. If you live locally to me and have ordered a catalogue, this timetable was also included.

I have changed my classes slightly this time, and will be holding a Techniques Class each month, with Kit classes and Stamp-a-Stack events in some months. Unfortunately there will be no classes or events in August as I get married and go on honeymoon, the blog will still be updated regularly during this time.

I think that’s probably enough information to bombard you with today, I’m working this morning, but am looking forward to a girly lunch and shopping afternoon, followed by a gym session with James. I have recently challenged him – he thinks he can get me to run 5K by the time we get married, for all I’m the one doing the training, I’m not sure!

We are now less that a week away from the launch of the brand new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue! Yay! I’ve been sending out catalogues this week, but still have some left, so if you want a FREE copy there are two ways to get one!

1. Come to my Catalogue Launch Party! – 3rd June 2015 – 7pm – in Stockton-on-Tees (at my house!) – RSVP via Facebook, and I will contact you all with my details. I love doing these events, we have a bit of stamping, some bargains, and the chance to see some of of the new products before anyone else!

2. Or, if you can’t make it to the party, fill in my Request a Catalogue form, and I will post one out to you 🙂

 

News

Things are super busy around here at the moment; new catalogue launch time is always a little crazy, but I’m also finishing up an order of 75 Orders of Service, prepping to make another 70 Orders of Service for my own wedding, sorting out flowers and hen parties, trying to organise James and fit in my full time job! But it’s all good fun! I’m hoping to start sharing some more of these type of blog posts over the next few months, on a Wednesday, live blogging style!

Weekly Deals!

Oh yes, Its Wednesday!

Our Festival of Trees journey will continue a little later today! but first, it is of course Weekly Deals Time!!!!

How awesome are these deals!!!! I adore the two thinlit dies on offer this week! I have been eye-ing up the circle card thinlit for AGES! this may be the perfect opportunity to grab it! (seeing as I have an order in the waiting already!) These two thinlit dies create flip cards, and come complete with a selection of other dies to embellish your card with!  The framelits this week are also great! The Cannery set, coordinates with Perfectly Preserved – an older stamp set you may have in your collection, but is now only available in digital stamp form. The floral frame though coordinate with Daydream Medallions, which is gorgeous!
