Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another fun Global Design Project Challenge. This week its a fabulous sketch, which specified a Slimline card. This is not a style of card I make often, but I really enjoyed making this one.
I die cut 3 of the circles from the Stylish Shapes dies to create 3 masks for the circles, and then blended Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Sweet Sorbet through them. If you look really closely you can see the little stitch marks! The punched flowers are from Petal Park and are stamped in the same 3 colours.

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today. Today I have a fun card for you for Inspire.Create.Challenges. This challenge is a fabulous colour one; Black, White, and then a colour of your choice…. so I’ve gone for Coastal Cabana.
This fabulous stamp set was designed in collaboration with my wonderful friend Sam Hammond Donald (Pootles) who I am actually on a retreat with as this blog post goes live. So, she will actually be getting this card this weekend too!
Don’t forget to head over to the Inspire.Create.Challenges blog post and check out what the Design Team have been creating, and add your own creations too. I cannot wait to see what colour you add to Black and White!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today, for Kylies International Blog Highlight. While you’re here I would be honored if you would pop over to Kylie’s page and vote for my little card this month. Thank You <3
So, the theme of the Blog Highlight is always the same, it’s a Thank You…. and I LOVE a thank you card! I haven’t used this stamp set for AGES, but picked it up to make a Mother’s Day card last week, and remembered how much I love it, and seeing as its with us for another year, I decided to get it inky again for this blog post. I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest last week, by a lady called Andrea, and so I changed it up a bit and created this!
I will admit, this card took me about an hour and a half to create (mostly because I coloured those Succulents with Blends), but I LOVE the way it’s turned out. The background uses the coordinating Potted Succulents dies, and I would STRONGLY advise using some Adhesive Sheet on this one!
The die cut in the centre is sadly retiring soon, but it was available when I checked over the weekend although I wouldn’t hang about it you want it. The centre piece is actually a piece of Basic White card stock, that I’ve coloured using Crumb Cake ink and a Blending Brush!
The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I’ve used one of the labels dies from Potted Succulents to die cut it. Finished with some loops of Linen thread and a trio of the Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels.
Thanks SO much for stopping by today, and don’t forget to vote over on Kylie’s blog post. Before you leave StampinByHannah today, please do consider subscribing to my emails, or following me on Instagram!

I love a simple card, and this card came together in minutes using the Springtime Impressions dies. I am so happy that these are carrying forward into the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue, along with the coordinating stamp set; Abstract Impressions. However they are currently available as a bundle that is retiring, so if you want to save 10% and get the bundle price you need to do so before the end of the month.
For all the butterfly die is quite intricate it’s not one I’ve ever had an issue die cutting. Here I’ve simply die cut it from a scrap of Whisper White and adhered in in the middle to a piece of the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment is taken from the coordinating Abstract Impressions stamp set and has been heat embossed in White onto a scrap of Basic Black card stock. I love sentiments like this, they really pop on a card.
I’m sure you could add more layers, ribbon and embellishment to this card, but I wanted to keep things pretty simple today. I would love to hear what else you would add, let me know in the comments below!

Every now and again I get requests from family and friends for a special card for a special occasion. Recently some of my work colleagues requested a Thank You card, and this is what I made….
Now, I have a confession to make with this card….. it uses 4 different stamp sets! Yes, I know, but my excuse is that it is a big 8 x 8″ card, and I needed to fill the space! So, step by step…
I stamped the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts in the centre of the card using Sweet Sugarplum ink
The Fresh Fig Flowers came next, taken from Lots of Love – I love this stamp set! and I added leaves in Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, and Sweet Sugarplum too
Then the Blushing Bride leaves filled in the gaps (the stamp is also from Lots of Love)
The card was still missing something, so I grabbed one of the stamps from Oh So Eclectic. This fun stamp is either tiny bird foot prints, or little flowers…. I can’t decide… but it is stamped in Sweet Sugarplum
But there was still something missing…. yes, some gold embossed splatter from Awesomely Artistic! Perfect
So such a big card, it needed some stamping on the inside too. I took each element from the front and stamped it inside.
I do hope the lovely lady that received it enjoyed it!

Hello! I feel like its been ages since I have filmed a proper Make It Monday! This weekend I have been filming and making like a crazy woman…. June is busy with James having a couple of weekends off, and a crafty retreat later in the month – meaning that I needed to get some serious work done ready!
This is my Thank You card for the wonderful ladies and gentlemen that shopped with me in May. They are super simple to stamp, as you can see from the video, they were quick to make! They use 3 of the 5 new In-Colours; Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink. The stamp set is Oh So Ecletic…. which I have had for a couple of months but never managed to get inky! I know, it’s shocking, but I was waiting for the matching thinlits dies! Oh, well, they arrive this week so expect to see many many more cards with this stamp set really soon!
Measurements:
Card Base – 10.5 x 29.7 cm (half a sheet of A4) scored on the long side at 14.85 cm
Designer Series Paper – 14.8 x 3 cm
Fresh Fig Card stock – 14.8 x 1 cm
The Designer Series Paper I have used here is from the In-Colour Designer Series Paper Stack; Fresh Florals. I am in LOVE with this paper, but I do want you to know that there it does have a ‘watercolour wash’ effect and the more solid papers don’t appear as solid colours… there has been much debate about this paper among demonstrators over the last month, I am totally in love with it, I love the watercolour effect and when you cut the paper up the effect becomes much more subtle.
I hope you love this card as much as I do, and if you have ordered from me during May you’re cards are hitting the post office today, so watch out for them arriving later in the week.

I recently cleared my craft room of stamps, dies, ribbons, punches, and anything else that is retiring at the end of May. I love this time of year…. the sun is shining (sometimes!), my craft room gets a bit of a spring clean, and we start to see prepare for the launch of the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. I won’t keep everything that I have that is retiring… I will be slowly getting rid of things probably during the summer but I will let you know when that happens!
So, I currently have a much reduced crafty stash…. which has done wonders for my creativity! Sometimes we feel we need this thing or that stamp to make great projects… but working with what is actually in your craft room rather than dreaming about this die or that stamp, I find anyway, yields much better results!
As I have removed all my retiring stamps from my shelf, I only have current and continuing products to play with…. and I am so excited for this stamp set to find it’s way into the new catalogue, along with a stunning pack of Designer Series paper to match it! This is Floral Phrases, and it has been seen in Night of Navy a LOT in the past 12 months…. just watch this space to see it in some fabulous new colours! Here I have stamped in Perfect plum.
This simple card is finished with a bow in linen thread and a trio of embellishments; two Enamel shapes – one in Perfect Plum, the other Elegant Eggplant – and a Rhinestone.
Simple and pretty, great for wedding thank yous I think!

Sorry if you were expecting a Make It Monday this week, am taking a couple of weeks off – but don’t panic, I have some great projects lined-up for you here on my blog while I’m away. Also, I have just had a delivery of Autumn / Winter catalogues – if you have shopped with me in the last 6 months there will be one on its way to you very shortly, if you haven’t shopped but want a FREE copy, just let me know on this form!
I am still loving using our fabulous August Exclusive stamp and die bundle; Thoughtful Branches. I think this card would look fabulous if you swapped out the Tip Top Taupe and replaced it with copper! I might just have to make that this afternoon! The rest of the card uses Pear Pizzazz and Tangerine Tango for a cute Autumnal look
The banner for the sentiment is created using the banner die that you can find in the Cupcake Cutouts framelits.

I am always looking for ways to get more use from the products I buy, ways you can stretch your stash, ways to get creative without buying heaps of stuff! I love crafting (and shopping), and I am lucky enough to have half a room dedicated to my hobby (and business) but its very small and I am quickly running out of room! So, time to get creative with what I own rather than buying more (even though I would love to shop!)
Last month I had the Fruit Stand pack of Designer Series paper out on my desk almost all month, and this piece of paper really called to me to be used simply on a card! trimmed slightly smaller than my card front and simply stamped with the sentiment from Thankful Thoughts I almost called this one done…
but it just needed an extra something, and some splatter of Flirty Flamingo and Gold Wink of Stella finished this one off! I love this card so much that my customers will be finding a variation of this in the post over the next week or so!
Thanks for checking out my blog today, and I’ll see you again tomorrow for something that’s not a card!

This is a special card today, I am totally inspired each and every month by the fabulous creations of the Artisan Design Team – these lovely ladies are specially picked by Stampin’ Up! and create wonderful projects each and every month. I am always so inspired by them all and just felt like sharing my homage to the ADT for this year.
Part of the creative process is always about change and development, and I am sure that we all look back on the first cards we created with utter horror, I absolutely do! I have spent many hours, days, weeks and months developing my style, and I am hoping that it continues to develop and change. I just love the process of creating something, don’t you, even if I am not always all that sure about the outcome – I still post the cards I’m not sure about, and they are usally the cards that you guys like, comment and pin most! isn’t it strange!
Anyway, I am in a rambly mood today, who know’s what tangent I will go off on for your blog post on Thursday!
This card has a card base of Sahara Sand, with a layer of Flirty Flamingo and then Whisper White. There are a few stamp sets in play here, there are some splatter in the background in Flirty Flamingo using Gorgeous Grunge, while the sentiment is taken from Floral Phrases.
The leave die cut is in Pear Pizzazz and is from the Rose Garden thinlits set.
