Pansy Patch Birthday Card

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah… quick post from me today, as this card took me so long to make that I ran out of time to write the blog post! Today’s card uses the Patsy dies, and Pansy Patch stamp set and was inspired by THIS card I spotted on Instagram this past week.

This card also uses a few of the new Stampin’ Up! Colours; Azure Afternoon is that bold blue, and Bubble Bath is the colour in the background. The other colours here are Balmy Blue, Parakeet Party, Granny Apple Green, and Crushed Curry.

Happy Birthday with Zany Zoo

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! Today’s card is very special, it was my daughters 4th birthday last week (the last 4 years have gone so super fast… not idea how she is 4 already!), and so I had to make her a birthday card. She LOVES to spend time with me in my craft room, and while she doesn’t join in much, she loves to watch and chat while I craft.

This card was inspired by THIS card from Jaimie Babarczy…. and it does use a couple of retired bits. The cute critter and the Designer Series Paper are both from the Zoo Crew suite, and in fact this little guy isn’t stamped at all, but actually cut from the Designer Series Paper (using a die!) instead.

The large number 4 is sadly a long retired die, but its so perfect for the kids birthdays that it’ll be a feature in my craft room for quite some time yet.

With this card being so special, it also got a stamped inside. I always mean to do this for all my cards, but in reality, it only happens to cards I am actually sending!

And she got a cute envelope too!

Congratulations card idea using Botanical Layers from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. Today I have a simple Congratulations card to share with you. I haven’t actually delivered this card at the time that this blog post goes live, BUT I don’t think my cousin (or any other member of my family!) actually follow this blog, and so I’m sure I’m fairly safe to share it!

Usually, for a Wedding Congratulations card I’m sure most people would go all out. In fact, I’ve done similar before, with layers and dimension, texture and lovely colours. However, that’s not really appropriate for the happy couple today. So, I’ve created something a bit more ‘Them’ that the norm for such an occasion.

This card uses Botanical Layers, which is a stamp set that has carried over from last year and I think it was a bit buried in last years catalogue so I’m so pleased to have it for another year. The leaves are stamped in Soft Seafoam and Lost Lagoon. While the sentiment, taken from Best Family Ever, is in Calypso Coral.

For all this card is simple, I have still ensured that it has a stamped envelope and that the inside hasn’t been neglected either.

Thanks a bunch Sweet Citrus

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. Today I am sharing another card using the Sweet Citrus stamp set and hybrid embossing folder. I really don’t know what took me so long to order this one, because its fabulous!

This card was inspired by THIS fabulous set of cards created by Mikaela Titheridge.

I really loved the pop of Coastal Cabana of Mikaela’s cards and I couldn’t not make a card with similar. I actually tired a heap of different colours for this card base, but my heart just really wanted to use Coastal Cabana too.

Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop | Graduate with Sentimental Park

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah and to the May Stampin’ Dream Blog Hop. This month we are sharing Graduation card ideas. I have used the Sentimental Park and Petal Park stamp sets for my card. Do check out the list of blogs at the end of this post and hop through to get some more inspiration.

Most of the images on this card are from Sentimental Park., but I needed a flower for the top of that leaf, and so I reached for Petal Park and the coordinating punch. The punch cuts out all three of the flowers, and here I have stacked them to create a fun dimensional arrangement.

I have created a shopping list for this card, which you can find HERE

Global Design Project #393 | For You Friend

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. I am really enjoying joining in with the Global Design Project at the moment, and this week’s challenge is colour; Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana and Smokey Slate.

Todays card uses the Love For You Stamp set and dies, along with the Tailor Made Tags and Essentials Embossing Folders.

The Card base and leaves are in Coastal Cabana, while the flowers are Flirty Flamingo stamped off once.

The card is finished with a bit of Smoky Slate ink splatter (a technique I haven’t used for ages… and then I’ve done twice in a week!)

Technique Tuesday Blog Hop | Designer Series Paper

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for the Crafty Collaborations Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. This month our technique is to use Designer Series Paper. I LOVE Designer Series Paper, I know some people struggle to cut their paper, but I really love to use it! Although, I like using little pieces… very much like on today’s card.

This card was inspired by THIS card by Kaylee Den Breejen. Kaylee’s card used coloured Designer Series Paper, but I am really enjoying using black and white at the moment, and the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper.

The stamped image here is from the coordinating stamp set, Zany Zoo, coloured using Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blends.

Hello Irresistible Blooms

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah, and to a new week. I’ve managed to blog every day so far in May… lets see how long I can keep it up for because this week is a little bit crazy! I have my first day at my new day job tomorrow, my daughter’s 4th birthday on Thursday and a Wedding on Saturday! Just thinking about getting everything done is making my head spin!

Anyway, I made 2 of the cards on this blog post back in February, but then somehow didn’t get around to sharing them with you. However, I made another one for a Instagram Reel over the weekend, and so it seemed only right that they all appear on the blog today.

These cards use the Irresistible Blooms stamp set, from the Online Exclusives. I absolutely love this set, the flowers are just so pretty and those leaf dies just add the perfect little extra something to a card.

This first card uses Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path, where the second card uses Orchid Oasis and Smoky Slate

The third card uses Calypso Coral and Memento Black.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #142 | Artistically Inked

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for challenge number 142 for Inspire.Create.Challenge. This time we have been challenged to create a project inspired by THIS card from Tammy Fite. This time I took the colour combination and floral theme as inspiration and created today’s card.

I haven’t used this stamp set for a while. This is Artistically Inked, I had great fun inking it today. The stamp in the background is stamped in Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink, and then the die from the Artistic dies is layered over the top.
