Global Design Project #415 | Patterns with Let’s Go Shopping from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Global Design Project entry. This week the theme is Pattern… and I dived straight into my pile of Designer Series Paper for this one and spotted this lovely pattern in the Let’s Go Shopping suite.

I couldn’t leave it at just one patterned though! The die cut circle is embossed using one of the Basic 3D Embossing Folders. I reached for the coordinating stamp set for the sentiment and this cute pot plant… and finished the card with a trio of Iridescent basic pearls.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #153 | Autumn with Timeless Arrangements

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge Design Team project. This week our Theme is Halloween/Autumn… but I was away at a crafty retreat last weekend with slightly limited supplies when I had the chance to create for this week, and so its not particularly autumnal, and definitely not Halloweeen-y… but you could totally make this card spooky if you so desired!

The colour combination here is Calypso Coral, Smokey Slate and Basic White. I am still really enjoying all the little floral stamps in Timeless Arrangements too!

Global Design Project #413 | Something Fancy with Abundant Beauty

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. I was really unsure about this weeks Global Design Project colour combination… and I actually do need to admit that I have tweaked it slightly! Their combination is Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Basic Black. But Cajun Crazy is a colour that doesn’t light my fire, and so I don’t actually own anything in that colour! (I know, I’m sure I shouldn’t really be admitted that as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!) Anyway, I switched it for Copper Clay which is one of the new 2023-2025 In Colours instead

This card is a sort I don’t make too often, as it uses a stamp set, a different die set, masks, and an embossing folder. BUT the combination was too good to pass up! I am really loving the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, but I hadn’t thought of inking the Sunflowers without using a Yellow…. Here they are in Pumpkin Pie with Copper Clay for the centres.

The sentiment is taken from Something Fancy, and that fabulous tag die is from Merriest Trees

Inspire.Create.Challenge #152 | Fun Colour Combination with Timeless Arrangements from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for the next Inspire.Create.Challenge. This time the lovely Jo has set us a colour combination. I have to admit that its not a combination that naturally jumped out at me, however, I really like the final look of this card and I think I could be persuaded to use these colours together again.

At first, I really struggled to think of anything to do with these colours. But the Abundant Beauty Masks were winking at me across my desk, and once I had inked the background the rest of the card came together pretty quickly.

The sentiment / embellishment is from Timeless Arrangement… I’m struggling to put this set away right now! It just makes the perfect grounding spot for sentiments. I felt that it needed a bit of separation from the background though so I added a Stylish Shapes square cut from Vellum behind… and then finished the card with a trio of 2023-2025 In Colour dots (which technically are Wild Wheat rather than Crushed Curry… but I think they still work)

Global Design Project #412 | Crushed Curry Textured Florals….

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah…. I’m not usually this late in the week for my Global Design Project make, but this week I’ve been on night shifts at the day job and so today is the first time I’ve felt somewhere approaching human enough to get into my craft room!

This week the Project is an inspiration piece…. which I have basically used a sketch.

I loved the layering and the white on white die cuts on the original card, and so have used the same here with Textured Floral. The Design Series Paper is Inked Botanicals, and while its not designed to match with Textured Floral, it works well as a pair.

The colour combination here is Crushed Curry, with Basic White, Basic Black and Lost Lagoon. I finished the card, and thought it looked a bit too white, and so added some ink splatter in Lost Lagoon with a Stampin’ Write Marker.

Ink.Stamp.Share | Cute Christmas Card using Gifts of Giving from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! I haven’t joined in with Ink Stamp Share before, but I am always up for a blog hop. This time we are showcasing our recent makes, nothing specific so there will be HEAPS of inspiration if you follow the links at the end of this post.

I had SO much fun making this card. Using Gifts of Giving and colouring this cute Santa using Stampin’ Blends. Then the background which uses Embossing Paste and the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, which I also inked onto a scrap of Vellum.

InspireINK | Halloween inspired Birthday Card…

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this months InspireINK blog hop. This month we have a colour combination;

I’m sure those into Halloween will have heaps of ideas with this combination, but for me its a bit of a struggle. In the end I’ve opted to make a card I have made before… just in a different colour combination.

This is my ‘go-to’ card design for those tricky to make Male birthday cards. Super simple stamping with Rays of Light and a sentiment from Biggest Wish.

Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop | Autumn with Timeless Arrangements

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. This month our theme is Autumn… and this card came together colour combination first! Using Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry and Copper Clay.

The stamps and dies here are from Timeless Arrangements. I absolutely adore this bundle, it makes really stunning cards really easy! I did do a bit of tone on tone masking and stamping in the background, but I think its got a bit lost on the Blackberry Bliss card stock… oh well, I’ll just have to make this card again using a different colour combination! What a shame!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #151 | Sketch challenge with A Walk in the Forest…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge. This time we have a fabulous sketch… actually, before I get to the challenge itself, Jo has just done a fabulous re-brand on the Inspire.Create blog. Please hop over and check it out!

I did change the sketch a little bit here… rotated by 90 degrees, and I’ve changed the sizes of the boxes.

The Designer Series Paper at work here is from A Walk in the Forest, which is a set linked to the Stampin’ Up! Make a Difference campaign which gives £2.50 to charity for each pack of paper purchased!

The presents are from the Merriest Trees stamp set, and are so super cute!

Global Design Project 410 | Gift of Giving

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Global Design Project entry! This week its a Sketch Challenge, and rather that using the boxes as suggested, if switched it for some repeat stamping with Gift of Giving instead.

I’m not totally sure I’m sold on this colour combination; Granny Apple Green, Parakeet Party and Poppy Parade… its a bit too Christmas-y for me! However, I do LOVE the repeat stamping on this one.
