Inspire.Create.Challenge #124 | Colour with Natures Prints from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge. This week we have a fabulous Colour Combination for you. Pop over to the Inspire.Create blog to check out the colours, see the rest of the Design Teams projects and add your own makes too!

I thought I would use the Nature’s Prints bundle for this card… I absolutely adore that wreath die, its so pretty and delicate. Here I added swatches of colour onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper and then die cut the wreath after.

The green’s in the colour combination are added at the bottom, with the fern stamps… and a bit of Garden Green ink splatter using a Stampin’ Write Marker.

Completed with a heat embossed sentiment on a Stitched rectangle die cut from Crumb Cake card stock, and a bow of Linen Thread.

Happy Birthday Splendid Day | Global Design Project #365

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah… I know, I dont usuallly blog this late. I am trying to be more organised with my posts, but right now I just need to blog when I can. So, here we are, with me writing a blog post a 7PM on a Friday evening (gosh, I lead an exciting life!)… Anyway, I made this card last night for the Global Design Project CASE Challenge this week, using THIS fabulous card by Emma Goddard as inspiration. Now, Emma’s card uses my current fav Ray of Light stamp, but I have managed to resist using it on my project (although… I do think it would make a great background here, maybe that’s a card for next week!)

Happy Birthday Splendid thoughts card using Biggest Wish from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I used Emma’s card layout and colour palate as inspiration, but used the Splendid Thoughts stamp and die bundle, and Biggest Wish for the sentiment

Instead of reaching for Ray of Light, the background is a ink blended soft circle of Pear Pizzazz ink, and added a splatter of Tahitian Tide ink.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #123 | Hues of Happiness

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for another Inspire.Create. sketch challenge! I LOVE this sketch idea, and the Design Team have made some fabulous projects. Hop over to the Inspire.Create blog, and add your own projects to the link up. We’d love to see them!

This card was inspired by Verity Pursglove, as a Design Team we add our projects to a shared folder and she’d used ink blending on the panel on her card. This inspired me to look at doing something rainbow, which led me to the Hues of Happiness suite and so this card was born!

I’ve stamped onto the Designer Series Paper with Night of Navy ink… I think this really adds something to the paper.

The sentiment is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and I stamped it twice in Night of Navy to allow me to fussy cut all the parts.

This card is finished with a trio of Pastel Pearls.

You can find the full supply list HERE, along with links to the products in my webstore.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #122 | Happier Than Happy

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week… You might have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet recently. I’ve been studying for my Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification for my day job, and last week I finally handed it in. All finished! Such a relief! Of course, we’ve had other drama’s since then that have stopped me getting into my craft room, but I’m hoping that they will all be resolved this week and I can get back to regularly scheduled crafting.

Anyway, that’s enough of my waffle… this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is to make a project inspired by THIS fabulous card by the very lovely Denita Wright-Smee. Usually, I take these inspiration challenges and use them a bit like a sketch, but this time I thought I would use the same suite and use that as my jumping off point.

Happier than Happy Cute childrens birthday card using Happy Forest Friends from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This is the Happy Forest Friends suite, and Happier than Happy Stamp Set, from this years Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. I know that it is designed for children’s cards, but I just think this whole suite is too cute not to share!

The background is a piece of the Designer Series Paper, and I’ve added some stamped and die cut toadstools, the fabulous big brown bear and a bow of linen thread. Simple, and quick, but oh so cute!

You Are Amazing | Pride Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today, for a really fun blog hop celebrating all things pride! When I first signed up to do this hop, my first thought was rainbows… but then Rainbows of Happiness retired at the end of May… and so I had a bit of a re-think.

I stuck with the rainbow idea though! I probably need to move the Ray of Light stamp away from my desk, feels like I’m using it on every project at the moment, but it was just too perfect not to use it for this one. I added the rainbow colours to the stamp on at a time using a Blending Brush, and stamped it using my Stamparatus. It has got a bit muddy… but I think it still works. What do you think?

I kept my Stamparatus out to stamp the sentiment from Amazing Phrasing, to make sure it was super black, and finished the card with a trio of black Classic Matte Dots!

You can find the supply list for this card HERE.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #121 | WooHoo Amazing Phrasing!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah, for an inspire.create.challenge this morning. I absolutely love the colour combination for this week’s challenge, totally inspired by the brand new Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! Now I could have used that paper for this challenge, but no, instead I reached for a Sale-a-bration stamp set I haven’t inked yet; Amazing Phrasing!

Stampin' Up! colour combination

For all this colour combination is taken from a pretty Festive paper… it’s really great all year around, and so this week I have a birthday card… but without the Happy Birthday!

alternative birthday card idea using Amazing Phrasing from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I of course, couldn’t not pair Amazing Phrasing with Ray of Light (I am having such fun with this stamp!)… here I used sticky notes to mask off the top and bottom of the card stock panel and then stamped it using my Stamparatus and Pale Papaya ink.

The WooHoo is stamped in Poppy Parade and then fussy cut, but because its a simply enough shape it was really quick to do. The other parts of the sentiment were stamped in Bermuda Bay and Pool Party, and then I used a trio of the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to finish.

Amazing Phrasing is currently available for Free with a spend of £90 during July and August, and you can find the supply list for this card HERE.

Don’t forget to hop over to the Inspire.Create blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have been up to with this colour combo.

Christmas in July | Is it Christmas Yeti?

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today, for a fun festive blog hop! I am loving taking part in loads of blog events again this month, I’d got a little out of the habit of blogging, but its coming back to me!

This month, Stampin’ Up! launched the July-December Mini Catalogue, and while it has some festive goodies in it, it’s not exclusively winter-y like previous years. Saying that, I do have a Christmas card for you today…. I mean, it is Christmas in July after all! Actually, you might have caught sight of this card already over on my YouTube… as I shared it as part of a catalogue launch event a few weeks ago, but it’s too cute not to get a spot on the blog!

Cute Yeti Christmas Card using Yeti to Party from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah for Christmas in July

Yeti To Party is such a cute stamp set, and great for a fun Christmas card this year. I’ve paired it here with the Whimiscal Woodland 3D Embossing folder, and some Sale-a-bration papers.

Check the video to see how it came together…

Thanks so much for stopping by today, do keep hopping on the blog hop for more Christmas inspiration!
