This is another card I should have posted last week… and really its just a sneaky peak of the sort of project you can expect in my Email Newsletters.
I try and send an email out each week, it doesn’t always happen, but the intention is there! And I am trying super hard to get a creative project into every single one… I used to send exclusive video tutorials, but for the time being I’m sticking with PDF downloads while I get to grips with late pregnancy / early motherhood!
This card uses the oh so fun Home to Roost stamp set which is FREE during Sale-a-bration (while stocks last, until the end of March).
You can find out exactly how I put this card together by downloading my latest Email, and don’t miss out on other Email Exclusive projects by subscribing to my Email List HERE!

Well, this week’s Just Add Ink challenge was a bit of a head scratcher for me! The challenge is to create something using this image as inspiration…
I noted that a lot of the Design Team had taken the blue, and that beautiful background and used the Tin Tile Embossing Folder. Which is very nice, but not something that I own (I know, I shouldn’t admit to not having everything in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue… but my craft room really isn’t big enough to hold everything!). So, I took the flowers as inspiration instead, and the layout of the image.
I did want to take some of the texture from the inspiration piece, and so embossed this fabulous die, from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits, onto a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock using the Big Shot Embossing Mats.
The floral panel on the side uses the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set, and a heap of bright and fun colours…
Pineapple Punch and Mango Melody
Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay
Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick
The sentiment is also from Abstract Impressions and is stamped in Lovely Lipstick before being punch out with the Everyday Label punch.
This card is finished with a hint of Whisper White Flax Ribbon
Do pop over to Just Add Ink and check out what everyone else has made using the fab image as inspiration!

Oh my! I was supposed to get this blog written and up for you last week….better late than never right! Actually, I’m glad I waited because it turned out I had one missing when I shared them with you on a Facebook Live a couple of weeks ago.
I love taking part in card swaps. As a team we tend to have a swap for each new catalogue, and then we also swap at Live events too! Taking part in project swaps are a great way to get heaps of ideas and inspiration, and are a fabulous way of meeting people when we all get together. The next time we all get together as a Team is for OnStage in April, I wasn’t planning on going this time as I’ll be 37 weeks pregnant, but I was convinced by my naughty team leader a few weeks ago… but I wont be swapping (can’t do everything!)
This time we swapped in small groups, so only had to make 5 cards. I made this card using the Needlepoint Nook suite, and shared a video tutorial of it a while ago.
Do you want to see the cards I received?
This card was made by Rebecca Kevan; I just LOVE those fabulous butterflies from Sale-a-bration!Christine Bettany made this cute Butterfly NoteCardThe ever talented Kaye Mellor sent this one using Memories and More from the Spring Summer catalogueTina from Germany made this card, and hand coloured the image using Stampin’ BlendsSarah Haigh was on a Needlepoint Nook kick like me with this fun card!
You can join in with our next team card swap, and our other fabulous team events… and now is great time to join the team with a fabulous Sale-a-bration Starter Kit!

This month’s InspireINK blog hop is dedicated to those special ladies, whether that’s you mum (seeing as Mother’s Day is fast approaching), your best friend, Avon lady, or the woman in the post office!
I decided to keep my card a little generic, rather than explicitly Mothers Day, but you could really easily add a different sentiment to make it suitable for what ever the occasion
I have been trying to use some of my recently unloved stamp sets. It’s so easy to get carried away with the newest stamps on our shelves, but its really not fair to the others for them to be left out… so this card uses the Time for Tea bundle from the Annual catalogue.
I’ve used the 2-step stamping technique here to create those pretty leaves. The outline stamp was stamped first in Mossy Meadow, then the solid image added after in Mossy Meadow stamped off first. Then, the leaves are die cut using the coordinating dies too!
The other elements are also take from the Time for Tea bundle, except for that stitched circle (that’s from the Stitched Shapes Framelits… one of my MUST HAVE products!)
I’ve finished this card with a trio of Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons.
Check out the rest of the Blog Hop to see more cards for that Special Lady…

I have been having so much fun taking part in Just Add Ink challenges every weekend. This week I’m a little ahead of my usual schedule as I have been off on Annual Leave this past week and so managed to get my card made on Friday!
This week, Just Add Ink has become Just Add Embossing! I have to admit that for all I often Heat Emboss sentiments, my collection of embossing folders often gets forgotten about! However, one of the new Sale-a-bration items is the most gorgeous Embossing Folder, and I spotted THIS card on Instagram on Thursday that I just HAD to CASE! So, this week’s Just Add Ink challenge was right up my street!
This embossing folder is one of those thicker ones, so the dimension is just awesome! Here, I’ve pulled one of my favourite colours of all time, Fresh Fig, and embossed it, layered it onto a piece of Whisper White and then added it to a standard sized Gray Granite card front.
Of course, I haven’t just left it there! Because although this embossing folder is beautiful, the card needed a little extra something. So, I pulled out another product I haven’t used in a while (actually so long, I had to hunt my craft room to find it!), Shimmer Paint! To add a hint of shimmer to the embossed panel, I dabbed Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint onto the panel using a rag… but you could use a sponge, brayer, or your fingers!
Because I really wanted to keep the embossing the main focus of this card, the rest is really quite simple. The sentiment (also embossed as it goes!) is taken from Needle and Thread, and the card is finished with a trio of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Oh I am super excited to share this with you this afternoon! I been toying with the idea of doing some extra classes for a while, and with the Sale-a-bration 2nd Release being so gorgeous I couldn’t resist making a class out of it!
This fabulous stamp and Designer Series Paper bundle is FREE with a £90 order, and it has some coordinating framelits coming on the 1st March too!
While I’ve used the stamps, dies and papers in this class, I’ve designed the class so that you could use an alternative bundle and papers instead!
This class will take place in an exclusive Facebook Group, with the Live video taking place on the 16th March at 11AM. During class we will be making 5 fabulous cards, with the opportunity for you to stamp along, ask questions and share your creations!
There are 2 options for this class; either Class ONLY or Class and Cards stock. I’ve chosen NOT to include the stamps for several reasons, 1. I understand that the £90 price point is high, and I want as many of you as possible to join in with this class, 2. I’ve designed the class around sketches, and so you could use any stamps you have to make some stunning cards!
Card stock pack includes 10 pre-cut and scored card bases, along with mats, layers and die cut pieces for the cards in this class, PLUS 5 Whisper White Envelopes. Every pack also includes a fabulous gift from me!
Prices:
Class Only – Access to the Facebook Group, Facebook Live video, and downloads of sketches and card designs using 2 stamp and die bundles – £10
Class and Card stock Pack – Access to the Facebook Group, Facebook Live video, and downloads of sketches and card designs using 2 stamp and die bundles – PLUS card stock to make 10 cards, die cuts and envelopes and Postage – £20
Book you place!
No Fields Found.
Booking closes on 9th March for Card and Card stock option, and the 15th March for Class ONLY.
Payments will be requested via PayPal invoice. This does not require a PayPal account, just a credit or debit card.
Invitations to the Facebook group will be issued once Payment has been received, and not before 1st March.

Sorry for the slight delay in today’s blog post… I should have written this yesterday, but I had a terrible bout of Pregnancy Fatigue yesterday afternoon and I just needed to sleep! Things are better today though, and have a day in my craft room planned, so I’m getting this written so that I can get to crafting!
I had great fun a few weeks ago at a local craft fair, it was during the snow and so foot fall wasn’t great. But, it’s OK because it gave me time to make my January Customer Thank You cards! These stamped up really quickly, the time was taken hand colouring all those cute frogs with Stampin’ Blends!
So Hoppy Together is one of this year’s Sale-a-bration free items, that you can earn when you spend £45 between now and the end of March.
I stamped the frogs in Gray Granite ink, and then used both Light and Dark Granny Apply Green Blends to colour them. No fancy techniques, just laying the colour on.
The Thanks sentiment is from one of my go to Stamp Sets; Thankful Thoughts. Stamped simply in Gray Granite onto an Everyday Label in Very Vanilla
I’ve got another craft fair this coming Saturday at the Durham Tees Hotel on Teesside Airport. Maybe I’ll see you there!

It took me two cards to get something I liked for Inspire.Create 036, and its taken me two cards again today! Sometimes creativity is really hard, and recently my crafty mojo has been somewhat Missing In Action! However, I have managed to create a fun card for today’s colour challenge, and I’m really rather pleased with this one…
This time we are creating with a rather soft colour palette, and I think that was my struggle. However, I knew I wanted to use the Incredible Like You Stamp Set. This set coordinates with a fun Card Kit, but works just as well on its own too!
I started this card by die cutting that sentiment piece using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, and then drawing around it onto my card stock in pencil. This allowed me to stamp the flowers exactly where I wanted them around the sentiment.
The flower is stamped using 2 stamps, the first stamped off and then the second layer stamped in full strength ink, both stamped in Mint Macaron.
The card is finished with some random stamping of some of the little elements in a somewhat diagonal line across the sentiment and a scattering of sequins too!
