Hey folks! So, after a couple of blog posts of other bits and pieces, I’m back with another Christmas in July card! I LOVE the First Frost stamp set, and although it’s in with the Christmas stamps in the catalogue I totally use it all year around. Today I do have a Christmas Card using it, but how pretty would this be for a Birthday, or Just Because?
I always prefer less traditional colours at Christmas. I mean, I don’t mind Red and Green, but I’m always pulled more towards cooler colours; blues and silver. So, the colours here are Coastal Cabana, Pretty Peacock, Granny Apply Green and Flirty Flamingo.
The sentiment is taken from another Stamp set; Merry Christmas to All and the coordinating Merry Christmas Dies.
The Merry is die cut from Silver Foil Paper, and then the stamp is in Pretty Peacock.
Pretty Peacock is one of this years Brand New In Colours, and I am in LOVE with it! I’ve re-opened sign ups for my 2019-2021 In Colour Club, but will close it again on Sunday night, CLICK HERE to find out more and join in!

Hey folks! Wow, there was a day last week when I wasn’t sure I was going to get this card up for you today! However, my blog issues are hopefully behind me now (at least for a while) and I can concentrate back on making fun projects for you all!
This weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge is a sketch! Now, I’m not going to shared the sketch here, but you can see it over on the Inspire.Create blog and see everyone else’s fabulous creations too!
The sketch features a large circle, which I have of course substituted for this gorgeous flower from Beautiful Day. I mean, when can I leave a sketch as it is, have to change it some how!
Here I’ve stamped the flower in Memento and then coloured it using Stampin’ Blends in Blackberry Bliss and Granny Apple Green. I’m trying really hard at the moment to use my Stampin’ Blends a little more. In fact, I’ve forced myself to as there is some Blends work in this months Retreat in a Box too!
I’ve kept the colouring pretty simple, although I have used both Light and Dark Blackberry Bliss pens to create this dimensional image.
The Blends were also put to work on the embellishments of this card, as I used Dark Blackberry Bliss to colour a trio of Clear Expoxy Drops too!

Hey folks! I am super excited to be back doing some Facebook Lives! I asked on Facebook a few weeks ago about whether you’d prefer to see regular videos on YouTube or random Facebook Lives, and most people seemed to want more Lives. So, I got a bit of time this morning while James took Niamh for her first set of vaccinations (which I really didn’t want to go to!), and thought I’d jump on and share this pretty Good Morning Magnolia Thank You card with you.
I’m not going to say too much about how this card came together, as you can see that on the Facebook Live video.
But I did want to link to some information about the offers I mentioned in the video

Hey folks! So it’s day 2 of this years Christmas in July and the card I’m sharing today is one of my favourite makes in AGES and it uses the Merry Christmas to all stamp set!
There are only 2 stamps at work here; the sentiment and that pretty label stamp. The background was created by just repeat stamping the sentiment over and over down the card in Gray Granite ink. You could totally use your Stamparatus for this, but I’ve hand stamped it. Hand stamping repeatedly like this isn’t difficult, but it can take some time, particularly if your trying to make it all perfect. I wasn’t aiming for perfection however, as I prefer the slightly mess, bit wonky, imperfect look!
The sentiment itself is stamped on a scrap of Very Vanilla card stock in Memento Black ink, and then the label stamp added in Cherry Cobbler. This stamp set pairs with the Merry Christmas dies, and this label has a perfectly matching die.
To help make the sentiment really pop I’ve added a couple of layers behind it; a vellum Stitched Nested Label and a piece of the Very Vanilla Lace Trim.

Hey folks! I cannot believe that it’s July already, this year is going so fast that I can already see Christmas around the corner, so I thought I would dedicate (most of) a week to Christmas! I mean, it’s never to early to start on this years home made Christmas cards right?
The Christmas stamp sets are kind of hidden in this years Annual catalogue, but you can find them on pages 68-71. Which doesn’t seem like very much, but these 5 stamp sets pack a punch! That, and the Christmas catalogue is just around the corner. It launches in August for Demonstrators, and September for customers. So, if you want a sneaky peak, please do consider joining Stampin’ Up! with me, particularly this month when we’ve got the fabulous Extra Extra promotion going on too!
The Dashing Deer stamp set has been in the catalogue for a little bit now, and I still love it. I mean, what is not to love about that deer stamp… and the fact that it has a coordinating die too!
I’ve tried to use some non-festive items on this weeks cards, so this card also uses the Country Floral 3D embossing folder too. It adds an awesome dimension to that circle piece without being too in your face.
This card has a bit of a twist on the traditional red and green Christmas. I’ve used Shaded Spruce, which I always think is very festive, but paired it with Lovely Lipstick, which is more of a pink that a red really. I think it works really rather well!
This card is finished with the sentiment heat embossed in silver. Keeping things fairly simply for the first day of Christmas in July! Check back tomorrow for another festive card creation!

Hey folks! Sorry I’ve ended up with another double blog post day, but I had some blog issues this week which has thrown my schedule a little bit, and I had a few bits of timely information to share so I thought I would do a blog post of July Club News!

Hey folks! So, I haven’t done an in person event for a while. Partly because my day job has been crazy busy, and partly because I had a baby 8 weeks ago! However, I had an email from MIND a few weeks ago about their Crafternoon, and I thought it would be the perfect way to get back into doing events again.
So, this event is a bit special, as I’m fundraising for this fabulous charity. Also, places are extremely limited as I’m hosting this one at home around my dining room table.
What are we making? Well, I thought that a fun Home Decor framed sampler using the stunning Magnolia Lane suite would be fun! Each person will receive a goody bag worth £25 to make their project with, but there will also be heaps of goodies left over to take home too… and cake! (of course!)
Crafternoon happens on the 20th July, however with James’ shifts I’m hosting this event on the 28th so that I can dedicate the time to you rather than holding the baby! Crafternoon starts at 1:30PM and should last 2 hours.
Because places are so limited, and I need to close booking next weekend, to book your place drop an email to [email protected]. I’ll send you a PayPal invoice to confirm your spot. Don’t worry, you don’t need a PayPal account to pay, just a credit or debit card. Crafternoon costs £30 and is only available in person.
However, this fun project is also included in this months Magnolia Lane Retreat in a Box too! AND I’ll be donating 10% of my commission from the Retreat in a Box to MIND too.
Booking for both the Crafternoon an Retreat in a Box close next weekend, on the 14th July at 10PM. So, book your place ASAP!

This month’s Code Club Class uses the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I LOVE this set, and had a really fun class with it a few months ago. I was so happy when it carried forward in to the new Annual Catalogue, more change to use it!

Hey folks! There are some lovely stamp sets in the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue, but Bloom and Grow is certainly one of my favourites! I’ve not been able to put it away for long since it arrived in my craft room a couple of months ago. I’ve made some more complex cards with it, but today I thought I would share a simple Bloom and Grow creation with you.
As well as being a sucker for a good stamp set, I am a little obsessed with colour combinations, and I love this one. Just Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite and Whisper White. Simple and classic.
Bloom and Grow also has a really handy set of coordinating dies. Not only do they cut out the 3 floral images, but there are also leaves and some fun boarder pieces too.
Here the floral stamp is simple stamped in Gray Granite and then die cut, before being popped up on the card with Dimensionals. I love the look of these stamps just simply stamped, but I also love them coloured with Blends, or watercolour pencils, or inks….
I almost left this card with just the sentiment and floral die cut, but it didn’t look quite finished. So, I added a bow of Blackberry Bliss Nature’s Twine. Gorgeous!
