Global Design Project #413 | Something Fancy with Abundant Beauty

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. I was really unsure about this weeks Global Design Project colour combination… and I actually do need to admit that I have tweaked it slightly! Their combination is Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Basic Black. But Cajun Crazy is a colour that doesn’t light my fire, and so I don’t actually own anything in that colour! (I know, I’m sure I shouldn’t really be admitted that as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!) Anyway, I switched it for Copper Clay which is one of the new 2023-2025 In Colours instead

This card is a sort I don’t make too often, as it uses a stamp set, a different die set, masks, and an embossing folder. BUT the combination was too good to pass up! I am really loving the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, but I hadn’t thought of inking the Sunflowers without using a Yellow…. Here they are in Pumpkin Pie with Copper Clay for the centres.

The sentiment is taken from Something Fancy, and that fabulous tag die is from Merriest Trees

Global Design Project #384 | Warm Welcome Birthday Card idea

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another Global Design Project Challenge entry. This week they have a fun Inspiration challenge, using this fab card by Kim Fee.

I’ve used 2 stamp sets on this card… the Warm Welcome stamp set for the birthday cake and the flowers, and Something Fancy for the sentiment. The Birthday cake is coloured using Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends.

The background of this card uses one of the new embossing folders, called the Basic 3D Embossing Folders which are available as part of the current Online Exclusive! I’ve added a hint of Mint Macaron with a blending brush to add that circular element from Kim’s card.

The card is finished with die cuts from the Something Fancy dies, and a sprinkle of Iridescent Rhinestones

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Thank you Lovely Linen!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Crafty Challenge blog hop. This month we were given a number of different ideas and basically told to pick the ones we liked and felt inspired by, and then create! So that I what I did… Inspired by the terms; Sponging, Thank You, Pearls and Standard Horizontal.

I love this piece of Designer Series Paper, from Lovely Linen (Annual Catalogue) and I’ve sponged (well, ink blended because I couldn’t be bothered to dig out my sponges!), the edges with Evening Evergreen ink.

The Thank You is from Something Fancy, and die cut using the coordinating dies.

This card is finished with a little White Crinkle Seam Binding ribbon, and a trio of Iridescent Pearls.
