InspireINK | Advent with the Kindest Gnomes!

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this weekend for the fabulous InspireINK blog hop. This month we are celebrating all things Advent as we are now firmly in the countdown to Christmas! I have to admit, I was skipping this month, however, I was in Sainbury’s yesterday and spotted the very cute Daily Milk Little Robins… and just had to make cute box to put them in!

This very dinky box is one I have shared before… although it was back in 2017! Gosh, that feels like a very long time ago… before we moved house or had children. It’s super easy to put together, and opens from the bottom so you don’t need to worry about how to keep the top closed.

I’ve gone for a Pool Party box, and used the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper to decorate. Keeping it simple, mostly because its a bit last minute… but also, because this paper is so gorgeous it needed to be centre stage!

Measurements:

Card stock; 17 x 15 cm

Score on the long side at; 4. 8. 12 and 16 cm

Score on the short side at 2, 6, 10 and 13 cm

InspireINK | Watercoloured Hues of Happiness

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s InspireINK Blog Hop! I love joining in with the ladies at InspireINK, and this month I got to set the challenge!

I know the ladies weren’t all that impressed with my bright and bold choice! So, I’m quite looking forward to hopping later to see what everyone has created!

I’ve been playing with Hues of Happiness a fair bit this past month, and so it was out of my desk when I came to make my card for this months Blog Hop. I’ve also been struggling with my anxiety recently, and I thought this a great set to do some relaxing watercolour with…. so I combined all of that, and this card was born!

All the elements of this card have been watercoloured. The leaves are in Parakeet Party with a layer of Wink of Stella for some added sparkle, and the flowers are watercoloured in Poppy Parade. I used some re-inker to get some really dark colour so its a little more dramatic. The background is Orchid Oasis… and can you spot the splatter of Crushed Curry?

Do hop around the rest of the hop using the buttons below, and I hope to see you again here soon!

InspireINK | Happier than Happy

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today, and to the InspireINK blog hop. This month our challenge was set by the lovely Janice Thomson of JazzleDazzleCrafts… and she set a really tough one; Sunshine, Flowers and Insects. So, I’ve gone a little outside of the theme, but there is an insect / butterfly on this one!

Happier than happy card using Stampin' Up! products from StampinByHannah

This card uses the Happy Forest Friends suite. I have to admit, this wasn’t something that immediately leapt into my basket, however there as some cute images in the stamp set that I just couldn’t leave behind. The Designer Series Paper is really lovely, there are some very cute-sy images, but also a bunch of really great basic patterns too.

InspireINK | Something Old Something New…

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Time for another trip around the InspireINK blog hop. This month the theme has been set by the very lovely Heidi from FlutterbyHeidi. She’s been very clever and chosen ‘Something Old, Something New’. I’ve chosen a new die set, and an older stamp set for my project.

Amazing Thanks with Forever Fern for InspireINK using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

I am bit of a sucker for this colour combination; Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Old Olive and Blushing Bride, along with Basic White, a touch of Vellum and a hint of Gold.

The leaves in the background are from Forever Fern. A firm favourite stamp set in my stamp room! I love that I can layer just about as many leaves as I can, and it still looks great! Where the sentiment is a brand new die set; Amazing Thanks. Die cut in Basic White and Blushing Bride. I always use Adhesive Sheets with this type of die, it just makes these so easy to stick down.

Natural Thanks handmade card using Amazing Thanks from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah for InspireINK

This card was almost finished, but something just didn’t look quite right. So, I added a rectangle of Vellum and a trio of Brushed Brass Butterflies.

InspireINK | Best of 2021

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

This month’s InspireINK blog hop is a ‘Best of 2021’ theme. I don’t think this year has been what anyone has expected, its been challenging, surprising, upsetting, and to be completely honest with you I can’t wait for 2022 to start and us to leave 2021 well behind.

There are of course some good things about 2021, I finally got my craft room into some sort of order (although it’s not yet finished!), and I did manage to get some creative time back. I thought I would share my favourite make of 2021 for this months InspireINK Blog Hop, this fun card using Artistically Inked!

I’m going to have to get this stamp set back out, I haven’t inked it in ages and I absolutely LOVE it!

What is your favourite make of 2021? Share it with me on Facebook or Instagram!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! If it’s your first time here, please consider subscribing to the blog or my emails to hear more from me, or checking out my Instagram where I post a new project (almost) daily.

This month’s InspireINK challenge was a really challenge for me…. so much that I choose to CASE a project from a very talented demonstrator, who is MUCH better at 3D crafting than me! However, I then managed to put the bag together upside down, so this is my Oops project, but I still think its a great project and so decided to share it anyway!

InspireINK | Winter Birthdays with Artistically Inked

Hello! Gosh, I cannot remember the last time I joined in with this blog hop! I feel super guilty as its one I actually help to run… but life keeps getting in the way. Anyway, I managed to get some creative time recently, and got cards made for a few different challenges, so I’m slightly (ever so slightly) ahead for a hot minute!

InspireINK is a group of super talented stampers, and I think we are all from the same Stampin’ Up! team too. I recently got to spend the weekend with some of these ladies, and I think that has also helped to spur me on to remember to get my act together with joining in..

Anyway, this months theme is ‘Winter Birthday’…. and initially I had planned to make a birthday card using a Christmas stamp set. But, then I saw a card on Instagram and I got inspired into using leaves, and so this card arrived on my desk!

Happy Birthday handmade card using Artistically Inked from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

These leaves (and the sentiment) are from Artistically Inked, which I have to say, while I LOVE it, had had never thought of using these colours with it! Does this happen to anyone else when your using a stamp set from a suite, that you just get stuck using the colours from the Designer Series Paper?!

Here I’ve used Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz for a Autumnal / Winter-y feel.

Leafy Birthday Card using Artistically Inked from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I’ve even used a technique I have done for ages on this one… ink splatter! I grabbed my Stampin’ Write marker in Pear Pizzazz to add a bit of background interest.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Do hop on to another one of the InspireINK blogs using the links below for more Winter-y Birthday inspiration, and I hope to see you around here again soon.

InspireINK Blog Hop | Milestone Birthday with Blossoms in Bloom

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Welcome to StampinByHannah this morning! I am so excited to be joining in with the InspireINK blog hop again. This months theme was ‘Milestone Birthday’, and the last milestone birthday cards I made were for James’ 100 year old Nannie. So, I decided I’d make another card for 100, but you could use this idea for any birthday really.

Pretty Floral 100 year birthday card using Blossoms in Bloom from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The Blossoms in Bloom stamp set is so pretty, and great for when you just need a hint of a floral. Here I stamped it in Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya, but all the colours I stamped off first for a softer look. Label dies are absolutely a staple in my craft room and these Tasteful Labels are a favourite at the moment, love the shape of this one.

Fabulous handmade birthday card using Blossoms in Bloom and Soft Succulent from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The numbers are die cut using the Playful Alphabet dies, from some Gold foil cardstock, and the card is finished with a trio of jewels.

Do pop around the blog hop, using the links below to see some more fabulous Milestone Birthday inspiration!
