Inspire.Create.Challenge #105 | Christmas Season Sketch

Hello! It’s time for another Inspire.Create.Challenge sketch challenge. I absolutely LOVE this week’s sketch! It’s so fun, with plenty of scope to create something unique yet similar to another card.

I cannot get enough of the Christmas Season stamp set… and I am SO pleased that it’s not retiring at the end of this month. Do hope over to my Online Store to check out what is retiring in the Last Change Sale.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #104 | Bright and Bold!

Hello! Yes… 2 blog posts in one weekend from me, that’s almost unheard of recently. However, I recently attended a Stampin’ Up! event and have the fire back in my belly, my crafting itch has got the better of me for the time being and I am loving sharing again. I am hoping to maybe hop onto some Facebook Live’s again soon (now that the babies are both sleeping better…. but I will let you know when I have that in my diary!).

Anyway, enough rambling, this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a theme “Bright and Bold!” and so I reached for a rainbow and the Brights collection of colours.

Bright and bold card using Patterned Paper from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

To create this card you will need:

I do need to admit here that the holes in the banners are punched with a retired handheld punch, but you could use a Take Your Pick tool instead.

Each banner piece is 2 x 4.5 cm in size, and then I hand cut the banner ends using my Paper Snips. They are then popped up on Dimensionals to give them a little bit of life on the card.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #103 | Colour with Christmas Season

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge! This week is a fabulous colour combination, very festive, and so I’ve made this fun Christmas Card using the Christmas Season bundle and In Colour Designer Series Paper.

I did also add a touch of gold to this one, because I just cant resist a bit of gold embossing with a classic Christmas colour combination like this one.

The Christmas Season stamp set is also available as a bundle with the fabulous Seasonal Labels dies which I have used on this card not only for the white label die cut, but also to die cut the leaves and berries too

Don’t forget to head over to the Inspire.Create blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s creation with this colour combination and to add you own makes too!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #102 | Whimsy and Wonder

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a simple sketch, with a large circle and a banner. I would LOVE to see what you make with it, so do add your creations to the Inspire.Create blog post.

Non-traditional Christmas Card using Whimsy and Wonder from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I swapped the banner for this fun trio of baubles, and rotated the image… but that is why I love a sketch, using it as a fun jumping off point rather than a strict card recipe.

Anyway, this card uses the fabulous Whimsy and Wonder suite: a fun mix of non-traditional Christmas colours and stamps that really do create some wonderful projects. I am loving playing with this one!

Handstamped Non-traditional Christmas Card using Whimsical Trees from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The baubles are coloured using a Blender Pen and Just Jade, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee and Polished Pink inks.

Don’t forget to pop over to the Inspire.Create blog for the sketch and other fabulous creations from the Design Team!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #101 | Colour Challenge

Keeping it short and sweet for this weeks Inspire.Create blog post… partly because I want you to pop over to the Inspire.Create blog, but partly because it’s half past nine at night and this post is due to go out tomorrow morning! I’m usually a little more organised than this, but I haven’t been in my craft room at all this week and so I haven’t got this post written before.

Inspire.Create.Challenge 101 Hand Penned Petals Congratulations card using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

This week’s Inspire.Create is a colour combination challenge using; Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya and Pool Party (or the colours from the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper). This soft colour combo led me to create this soft card with the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set, coordinating Designer Series Paper and the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Pretty Floral handmade congratulations card using Hand Penned Petals from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

My favourite feature of this card is the ultra thin layer of Pale Papaya card stock that sits behind the Designer Series Paper. I just love that hint of a layer!

Please do pop over to the Inspire.Create blog and add your own creations using this pretty colour combination!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #100 | Time for a Celebration!

Good morning! Today’s post is less about the card, and more about what is behind it. Today marks 100 challenges for Inspire.Create.Challenge! I am SO proud of my little challenge blog, and the corner of the internet it sits in, and to be honest I can’t quite believe we have hit 100.

I started Inspire.Create in the summer of 2017, and I had no idea we would still be going 4 years on. We have seen a few changes in the 4 years we’ve been sharing, we’ve seen some Design Team Members come and go, we’ve changed days, and we had a little break this time last year whilst I found my feet with having 2 babies under 2. I have had plenty of change too; with a new day job, moving house, having 2 children, and a few bumps in my health. However; Inspire.Create continues to be a regular feature in my week. I love it just as much now as when I sat and created the original blog 4 years ago.

I had a bunch of plans to celebrate our 100; however life has totally got in my way (thanks to my son bringing home both COVID and Norovirus in the past few weeks, as well as a family holiday and a couple of Stampin’ Up! events). However, I would LOVE it if you would hop over to the Inspire.Create blog today and give he Design Team some love. Please consider making a card to celebrate and sharing it with us too.

Here’s to the next 100!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #099 | Inspiration Challenge

This week Inspire.Create.Challenge is inspired by a card I created earlier in the year. You can find the original card HERE.

Last time I wrote a blog post, which was about 2 weeks ago, things around here we a bit bonkers; the kids had Covid, and my day job was busy! Nothing has slowed down since I post that! For all we have put Covid behind us, my son brought a sickness bug home from nursery with him on his first day back…. work has gone from mad to insane, and I am not even going to attempt to share what’s happened with my husband. However, I am not on holiday for a couple of weeks, and am looking forward to TWO in person, crafty events, and our family summer holiday.

Because things around here are so busy, I have started to really crack on with making Christmas Card this year, in the hope that I might be ready to send a few by the time December rolls around. This card use the Merriest Moments bundle, which is one of those special Hybrid ones that has dies and an embossing folder. I am hope to get a video together over the next few weeks to show you how it works. But, for today, you can see that it looks lovely used as a standard Stamp and die set.

Check out the Inspire.Create.Challenges blog for more inspiration, and to add your own projects too!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #098 | Sketch Challenge with Whimsical Trees

Hello! Oh my goodness. It’s been 2 weeks since I got any blogging or crafting time, thanks to everyone in my house developing Covid-19 and work going from crazy to just outright ridiculous! Anyway, I am here this week with a blog post from Inspire.Create and hopefully an email to!

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a sketch, and I really enjoyed creating with this one. The Stampin’ Up! July-December catalogue features some really lovely Designer Series Paper, and I reached for the Whimsy and Wonder suite for this piece of Mossy Meadow spotty paper. As usual this is double sided patterned paper, however, this paper has an iridescent foiling on the other side and a fabulous stripe that I also wanted to share a hint of!

There is another piece of Designer Series Paper on this card. Can you spot it? Yes, those cute little stars are die cut from the Be Dazzling Designer Series Paper which is FREE during Sale-a-bration! This paper is stunning! I shared a video of it on my Instagram last week, did you see?

The cute stamped tree and sentiment are from the Whimsical Tree stamp set, and are stamped in Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen.

Do pop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s creations and to share your own makes too!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #097 | Lovely You

Welcome to StampinByHannah and another Inspire.Create.Challenge. This week is a fabulous colour combination for you to try. I think colour challenges are my favourite to be honest, just a great way to inject something different into your crafting.

Quick and easy cardmaking with Lovely You from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This time we are playing with Bumble Bee, Calypso Coral, Just Jade and Night of Navy. This is such a classic colour combination, but one I overlook all the time. The stamp set I’ve pulled out here is Lovely You. I just adore the fonts in this stamp set, ad those cute little images are super handy.

Cute floral card using Lovely You from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I will admit to fussy cutting on this card, but it really wasn’t too tricky to cut out those cute little flowers and leaves.
