Hello! Welcome to the Metallics Blog Hop…. this is yet another blog hop brought to you by the fabulous Crafty Collaborations ladies. I have been slacking on joining in a bit recently, but really wanted to make this one.
I have to admit though, that I have slightly cheeted! I made this card on my YouTube Live last night… so some people might already have seen it. But, I’m sure no one minds!
The metallic elements of this card use the very lovely Splendid Day Designer Series Paper… which is one of my current favs! Its so pretty!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah… I am hoping to brighten your Monday this week with a replay of last nights Facebook Live video! Its been a LONG time since I went Live on Facebook… and well, I have to apologise for being upside down. However, I thought the card was too cute not to share again so….
The Hues of Happiness suite is just so stunning and that background die too pretty not to use. You can check the video for all the details, or if you want to shop the products you can find them in the Supply List.

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for another Inspire.Create. sketch challenge! I LOVE this sketch idea, and the Design Team have made some fabulous projects. Hop over to the Inspire.Create blog, and add your own projects to the link up. We’d love to see them!
This card was inspired by Verity Pursglove, as a Design Team we add our projects to a shared folder and she’d used ink blending on the panel on her card. This inspired me to look at doing something rainbow, which led me to the Hues of Happiness suite and so this card was born!
I’ve stamped onto the Designer Series Paper with Night of Navy ink… I think this really adds something to the paper.
The sentiment is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and I stamped it twice in Night of Navy to allow me to fussy cut all the parts.
This card is finished with a trio of Pastel Pearls.
You can find the full supply list HERE, along with links to the products in my webstore.

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week… You might have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet recently. I’ve been studying for my Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification for my day job, and last week I finally handed it in. All finished! Such a relief! Of course, we’ve had other drama’s since then that have stopped me getting into my craft room, but I’m hoping that they will all be resolved this week and I can get back to regularly scheduled crafting.
Anyway, that’s enough of my waffle… this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is to make a project inspired by THIS fabulous card by the very lovely Denita Wright-Smee. Usually, I take these inspiration challenges and use them a bit like a sketch, but this time I thought I would use the same suite and use that as my jumping off point.
This is the Happy Forest Friends suite, and Happier than Happy Stamp Set, from this years Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. I know that it is designed for children’s cards, but I just think this whole suite is too cute not to share!
The background is a piece of the Designer Series Paper, and I’ve added some stamped and die cut toadstools, the fabulous big brown bear and a bow of linen thread. Simple, and quick, but oh so cute!
Hop over to the Inspire.Create blog post to see the rest of the Design team’s work, and add your own creations too!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for a fun Blog Hop; a watercolour themed Technique Tuesday, perfect for Watercolour Month! Stampin’ Up! are celebrating all things watercolour this month and there are a heap of videos and project inspiration over on their socials…. time for us to join in and share some watercolour projects too!
I have been dying to try a watercolour wash with this stamp set since it arrived in my craft room, but for some reason I only managed to actually do it yesterday! This is the Nature’s Prints stamp set (and a piece of the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper), which I just love. The big leaf stamp is heat embossed in White onto a piece of Fluid100 Watercolour Paper, and then a wash of Night of Navy over the top. This is pretty strong watercolour, not a lot of water and a couple of drops of Night of Navy straight from a re-inker.
The sentiment is heat embossed in white, from the same stamp set, and this card is finished with a trio of the Classic Matte Dots.

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today… usually at this time on a Wednesday evening (19:30 UK time) I am going Live either on YouTube or Facebook. However, this week I am right at the end of a course I’ve been studying for for the past 3 years, and I’m spending all my spare moments getting my portfolio ready for submission. So, rather than do a Live this week, I have a pre-recorded video instead. I will be back next Wednesday, Live on my Facebook page with some fun ideas using some of the Sale-a-bration goodies…. but for now, here is my first look at the Abigail Rose suite…
When I first pull out brand new products, I will quite often turn to the Stampin’ Up! catalogue for inspiration. This card is inspired by one of the cards on the suite page in the catalogue. BUT I have made it my own by changing some of the layers and colours. This isn’t my usual style of card, but I really love it!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week! I am super excited for July, I have LOTS planned… but first I thought it only right that we kick of the month of July with a bit of Christmas in July, and a festive Home Decor project!
This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is designed to push your papercraft boundries a little, and the theme is Home Decor! I would LOVE to see your Decor makes, just add them to the end of the Inspire.Create blog post and inspire me to make something else for my home.
This project uses the Storybook Gnomes from the new July-December Mini Catalogue, and while it is festive, I think I could get away with this sitting out in my living room for most of winter. The toadstool is die cut from the Designer Series Paper, but the gnome is stamped and coloured using Watercolour Pencils. (side note: did you know, July is Watercolour Month… I’ll be sharing more about that soon!)
