Hey folks! I’ve gone for a monotone card today, but a colour I don’t use all that often; Grapefruit Grove.
I have been playing with the Stitched Nested Labels dies recently, they are definitely one of my new catalogue MUST HAVE’s. They are so handy for a simple focal point, great for sentiments and just add a lovely detail to a card.
There is only one ink pad at work on this card. The background daisy’s have stamped off Grapefruit Grove while the Daisy and sentiment are stamped in full strength. I love this simple technique for a variation in colour when creating a simple card like this one.
I’ve been loving playing with the Daisy Lane stamp set this month, so much that it’s the focus of this month’s Code Club Class. To join in all you need to do is place an order using the Code Club Code!
Hey folks! Today’s blog post is brought to you by one handed typing, my little girl is having one of those days where she just needs cuddles, and so I’ve currently got a baby in one arm while I type with the other. So, I do apologise for any spelling/typing errors!
When this Stamp Set landing in my lap, the first stamp I was drawn to was the fern leaf. I could make mountains of cards with the single stamp, it’s just one of those images I cannot get enough of!
This wreath effect is super easy to create too. I would recommend added the stickers to your stamps to help with positioning. These new Cling mount stickers are really easy to apply, and stop your stamps from falling off your clear blocks.
To create your wreath:
Draw a circle on your piece of card stock using a pencil. I tend to use a circle die but you could use your glass or pen pot from your desk!
Stamp the first leaf at the 12 O Clock position on the circle, then the second at 6, third at 3 and forth at 9.
Then add stamping between the images you’ve already stamped.
Make sure that you line up the same part of the leaf with the pencil line each time you stamp to ensure your leaves are the same size all the way around your wreath
I’ve kept the colour combination a simple one here, although I did debate for a good while about whether to go for blues or greens!
The sentiment is also taken from Daisy Lane and I’ve die cut it out using the Stitched Labels dies. I LOVE this die set, its so pretty and really very versatile too

Hey folks! So, today’s card uses the stamp set from this month’s FREE Code Club Class; Daisy Lane. But, you wouldn’t know it, because there isn’t a Daisy in sight!
I just love this leaf stamp and have a couple of cards coming up that use just the leave, and no Daisy’s! Here it’s stamped in an Ombre effect across the card. Now, I did debate what colours to use, and almost went with blues, but in the end I stuck with traditional greens; Mossy Meadow, Shaded Spruce, Old Olive and Pear Pizzazz.
This card would be perfect for a male encouragement card, or change the sentiment for a lovely birthday or even a with sympathy.
Before I go today, I do just want to mention about my In Colour Club; booking closes on Saturday! There are still a couple of places available, so grab yours today!

June’s class makes 4 fun cards using Daisy Lane. I LOVE this new stamp set, not only does it coordinate with the existing Daisy Punch, but also you could choose to get it bundled with the brand new Medium Daisy Punch!
There are a couple of items I would suggest if you wish to make the cards as per the tutorials…
It took me several attempts to make today’s card, in fact it started off as a fancy fold number before I decided to keep things simple!
I did however turn the sketch around. Partly because I like to move the elements of a sketch around a little, and partly because I had managed to accidentally combine challenges 043 and 044 in my last Inspire.Create card!
This card uses one of my favourite new stamp sets in the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue, Daisy Lane. This fun stamp set not only pairs beautifully with the existing Daisy Delight Stamp Set and Daisy Punch, but also has a cute Medium Daisy Punch which it is bundled with. I love this set so much that it is the focus of my June Code Club Class too.
To add an extra something to this card I added some tone on tone stamping to the Gray Granite card base under the Basic Gray scalloped square die cut.
The daisy is taken from the new Daisy Lane stamp set, along with the Friend sentiment.
I needed to add a pop of colour to an otherwise fairly grey card, so the centre of the Daisy is coloured with a Stampin’ Blend in Light Pumpkin Pie, and I added a bow of Calypso Coral 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon.
