Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Bright and Beautiful Sketch

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Crafty Challenge Blog Hop this month we have a fun sketch… Which I haven’t added a version of here, just because my card is basically the sketch!

I really love this colour combination (and the Bright and Beautiful Suite!); Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst and Bubble Bath. I did almost add Lemon Lolly in as well, but it just didn’t quite look right. The two panels at the top of the card are both in the pack of Designer Series Paper, while the fringe edging at the bottom is cut using a die.

Have you noticed the card base? I couldn’t make my mind up about whether the background should be Azure Afternoon, or Berry Burst… So I used both!

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | A Subtle take on Textured Florals…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another Crafty Challenge. This month we had 5 items to aim for; Subtles, Standard Horizontal, Ribbon, Masking and For You. I did my best, and I think I hit them all…

I used the Subtles collection here, pulling out Petal Pink, Lemon Lolly, Soft Seafoam and Pool Party, with the Textured Floral Stamp set. The sentiment was stamped first and then masked off with a bit of Sticky Note tape, before I stamped the floral images.

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Colour Combination with Textured Floral from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Crafty Challenge blog hop. This month Stefanie set us a colour combination, from a picture. I’ve had to make a couple of edits due to available colours.

So, Pale Papaya became Petal Pink and Pacific Point became Blueberry Bushel. Also, I don’t own a Cajun Craze ink pad (its just a colour I am all that keen on, and I only buy what I love!), so I switched it for Pecan Pie.

This is the first card I have made with the Textured Floral stamp set, and so I have used one of the cards from the catalogue as inspiration, mostly for the layout of the floral spray. The sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel onto a piece of Basic White, and die cut using one of the Something Fancy dies. Before I took the die cut out of the die, I added a hint of Tahitian Tide ink with a Blending Brush.

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Masking with Rays of Light

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Crafty Challenge Blog Hop. This month we had 5 different options, and I’ll admit at this point that I didn’t hit them all! We had In Colours, Masking, For You, 3×3 and Designer Series Paper.

I cut a piece of Basic White into a 3×3″ square, and masked off a 2″ circle in the centre. I then stamped the Rays of Light background stamp in Orchid Oasis, ink blended some Tahitian Tide on the edges and ink splattered some Parakeet Party.

The Hello is taken from the Biggest Wish stamp set, which I stamped and heat embossed before fussy cutting.

A simple card, but one for any occasion.

Crafty Challenges | Colour Challenge with Happy Forest Friends

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for the Crafty Challenge blog hop. This month Stephanie challenged us with a colour combination that I found incredibly challenging! I really don’t know why I found it so hard… other than these being colours I really don’t use all that often, but I did manage to pull something together in the end

I pulled the Happy Forest Friends suite for this one… I think inspired by the greens and brown in the colour combination.
