Congratulations card idea using Botanical Layers from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. Today I have a simple Congratulations card to share with you. I haven’t actually delivered this card at the time that this blog post goes live, BUT I don’t think my cousin (or any other member of my family!) actually follow this blog, and so I’m sure I’m fairly safe to share it!

Usually, for a Wedding Congratulations card I’m sure most people would go all out. In fact, I’ve done similar before, with layers and dimension, texture and lovely colours. However, that’s not really appropriate for the happy couple today. So, I’ve created something a bit more ‘Them’ that the norm for such an occasion.

This card uses Botanical Layers, which is a stamp set that has carried over from last year and I think it was a bit buried in last years catalogue so I’m so pleased to have it for another year. The leaves are stamped in Soft Seafoam and Lost Lagoon. While the sentiment, taken from Best Family Ever, is in Calypso Coral.

For all this card is simple, I have still ensured that it has a stamped envelope and that the inside hasn’t been neglected either.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, but before you leave StampinByHannah today, please do consider subscribing to my emails, or following me on Instagram!

Congratulations with Bloom and Grow

Hey folks! I don’t know about you, but I make a LOT of cards and then never seem to send many. I even forgot a friends birthday a couple of months ago, but its OK, because I sent her this pretty card as a Congratulations for getting a new job. One of my current favourite stamp and die sets is Bloom and Grow (I’ve share it a fair bit here!) and I couldn’t resist getting it out again for this card.

The floral spray is stamped in Memento Black ink because I’ve coloured this one in using Blends. Although, there isn’t actually any blending! The colours used are; Light Blackberry Bliss, Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light Call Me Clover, Light Pool Party and Light So Saffron.

The Congratulations sentiment isn’t from Bloom and Grow though, it’s actually from Well Said… which (along with the coordinating dies) is an absolute staple in my craft room at the moment!

I love getting a text message to say that my card has arrived, and it’s always nice to surprise someone with something that says ‘I’m thinking of you’.

Every single one of my customers receives a little handmade something when the order; often it’s a card, and sometimes is a little something extra.

First Frost Congratulations

On Saturday I shared 3 fun cards based on a challenge set by the InspireINK team, however they weren’t the only cards I made for the challenge! Today’s card was my original creation…

Pretty Congratulations card using First Frost from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This card uses the First Frost stamp set and coordinating Frosted Bouquet framelits. This set was originally part of the Stampin’ Up! Christmas catalogue last year, but its just so versatile, and is perfect for more occasions that just Christmas.

Here I’ve stamped the background in Night of Navy, and then used 2 different ink pads (Highland Heather and Mango Melody) to ink up one of the floral sprays which is then die cut and popped up on Dimensionals.

The card is finished with a stamped sentiment from the same stamp set and a trio of trio of jewels!
