Inspire.Create.Challenge #151 | Sketch challenge with A Walk in the Forest…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge. This time we have a fabulous sketch… actually, before I get to the challenge itself, Jo has just done a fabulous re-brand on the Inspire.Create blog. Please hop over and check it out!

I did change the sketch a little bit here… rotated by 90 degrees, and I’ve changed the sizes of the boxes.

The Designer Series Paper at work here is from A Walk in the Forest, which is a set linked to the Stampin’ Up! Make a Difference campaign which gives £2.50 to charity for each pack of paper purchased!

The presents are from the Merriest Trees stamp set, and are so super cute!

Global Design Project 410 | Gift of Giving

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this week’s Global Design Project entry! This week its a Sketch Challenge, and rather that using the boxes as suggested, if switched it for some repeat stamping with Gift of Giving instead.

I’m not totally sure I’m sold on this colour combination; Granny Apple Green, Parakeet Party and Poppy Parade… its a bit too Christmas-y for me! However, I do LOVE the repeat stamping on this one.

New Catalogue Blog Hop | Merry and Bright

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for a fun blog hop… all about the new Mini Catalogue!

I have been playing with the Merry and Bright suite, its so bright and fun (and not totally Christmas-y), and this card was the top of the pile, so I thought I’d share it here. Just using a couple of the stamps, and some bright colours for a fun alternative coloured Christmas card.

Bit of a funny story with this card… I currently only have embossing powders in White and Silver, as my delightful son has poured the rest into my carpets! I really need to order some more!

Technique Tuesday Blog Hop | Simple Stamping with Gift of Giving

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this months Technique Tuesday blog hop! This month we are Simple Stamping… which sounds like it would be easy, but I don’t really think I’ve managed it with this card which includes colouring with Watercolour Pencils and Masking! But, I love it… so I’m sharing it regardless!

I’m really enjoying this new stamp set from the September-December Mini Catalogue (out tomorrow!), it great for a bit of colouring but is really lovely just simply stamped too. Here I stamped Santa in Memento Black ink and then coloured him with Watercolour Pencils. I haven’t added any water to this though, because I wanted a sketchy look.

Once he was coloured in I cut a mask from a bit of sticky note (you could use Masking paper… I just use what I had on hand!) by stamping the image again and fussy cutting it. Then used this to cover Santa while I ink blended some Real Red ink into the corner.

Inspire.Create.Challenge 150 | Case Challenge using Textured Floral

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah, I am SO excited for today’s post… as the rest of the Inspire.Create.Challenge Design Team have CASE’d THIS card! Hop over to the Inspire.Create blog to check out what they’ve created (and share your project too!)

The card we are actually CASE-ing this week, and a copy of a card I made years ago… today’s version uses the Textured Floral stamp set and Lost Lagoon, Pool Party and Pecan Pie.

The sentiment is stamped in Lost Lagoon, and backed by a circle die cut using Stylish Shapes (which I think screwed up into a ball for a bit of texture!)

Global Design Project #408 | Case the Designer with Love for you from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah… I’ve been playing along with the Global Design Project again. Actually this week, I’ve used it as a bit of jumping off point, with the Summer holidays here things are a bit busy, and I haven’t made it into my craft room for over a week! So, when I got some time this afternoon, I didn’t really know what to create… I love a challenge for this, and this week’s card inspiration is so stunning I had to have a go too.

I’ve used the Love For You stamp set and coordinating dies for this card, and a fun colour combination of Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Lost Lagoon and Blueberry Bushel (and a bit of black!)

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Bright and Beautiful Sketch

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this month’s Crafty Challenge Blog Hop this month we have a fun sketch… Which I haven’t added a version of here, just because my card is basically the sketch!

I really love this colour combination (and the Bright and Beautiful Suite!); Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst and Bubble Bath. I did almost add Lemon Lolly in as well, but it just didn’t quite look right. The two panels at the top of the card are both in the pack of Designer Series Paper, while the fringe edging at the bottom is cut using a die.

Have you noticed the card base? I couldn’t make my mind up about whether the background should be Azure Afternoon, or Berry Burst… So I used both!

InspireINK Blog Hop | Memory Keeping with Share a Milkshake…

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to the InspireINK blog hop for August. I am SO excited to see what the ladies have created for this months ‘Memories’ Challenge! I have No Idea what I was thinking when I set this as a challenge back in December… but here we are and I have done some old school memory keeping!

So, I couldn’t find any White 12×12″ cardstock (Stampin’ Up! or otherwise) in my stash, so I’ve gone with a piece of A4 Basic White instead. But this does mean I can pop it into a frame that I have floating around in my office.

I’ve used a few different products on this one, but it needed a few different bits. The Designer Series paper is from Les Shoppes and was the prefect option for a photo of my daughter eating an ice cream. I haven’t journalled on the page, and I feel like a probably should… but this photo is from our first mummy-daughter lunch dates… where aged 3 she ate a full 3 courses!

The Ice Cream theme needed a themed embellishment and so I whipped out the Share a Milkshake bundle and made this cute ice cream… complete with a few Sweet Sorbet hearts.

I almost finished the layout there, but it felt wrong without a proper title, and so I pulled out the Alphabet a la Mode dies and some Night of Navy cardstock to finish it off.

Global Design Project #407 | Waves of Inspiration

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for my entry to this weeks Global Design Project Theme Challenge. This week the theme is Water Creatures, and initially I had a bit of a panic at this one, as I don’t have any stamp sets at the moment with fish or other water-y animals on. However, I do have Waves of Inspiration and so used that instead.

I used a fun watercolour technique to create the waves panel on this card, check the video below for all the details.

I usually vlog on a Wednesday, but this week things have been a bit different and so I thought I would film this card instead.
