Pride Blog Hop | Artistically Inked Rainbow

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah and to the Crafty Collaborations Pride Blog Hop for 2023. I absolutely LOVE a rainbow, and so couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make a rainbow project.

Pride means different things to different people, for me its about everyone being welcome, and I hope that everyone feels welcome here.

Saying this, I have used a rainbow of colours I haven’t used before on this card! I was inspired by a post from Helen Read at AllThingsStampy on Instagram, and she suggested a rainbow of Poppy Parade, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Blueberry Bushel and Berry Burst.

Today’s rainbow uses the Artistically Inked stamp set (and oldie but a goodie in my collection!) and the coordinating Artistic dies.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #142 | Artistically Inked

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for challenge number 142 for Inspire.Create.Challenge. This time we have been challenged to create a project inspired by THIS card from Tammy Fite. This time I took the colour combination and floral theme as inspiration and created today’s card.

I haven’t used this stamp set for a while. This is Artistically Inked, I had great fun inking it today. The stamp in the background is stamped in Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink, and then the die from the Artistic dies is layered over the top.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #128 | A Spooky Colour Combination…

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for another Inspire.Create.Challenge. This week is a fun colour combination, perfect for October crafting; Basic Black, Basic Gray, Gorgeous Grape and Pumpkin Pie.

I’m not into Halloween, its not something that has ever been a part of my autumn (This is changing now I have two small children, and my husband is a BIG fan!)… and so I haven’t gone down the Halloween route with this colour combination, rather sticking to something a bit more floral.

This card uses the Artistically Inked stamp set (which I LOVE, but haven’t had off the shelf for ages!), for all of the stamped elements.

The card is finished with a trio of Classic Matte Dots.

Don’t forget to add your own creations to the link up over on Inspire.Create.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #117 | Guys card idea using Beautiful Shapes from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another Inspire.Create.Challenge! This week we have a Masculine theme; something I think a lot of use struggle with. When I’m making cards for men, I try to steer clear of florals, ribbon or lots of embellishments, and try to stick to simple stamping. Saying that, this card isn’t all that simple!

Masculine Happy Birthday using Beautiful Shapes from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I love the Abstract Beauty suite, and the dies are particularly great! These fun nesting hexagons are great for a geo-metric guy card. The base layer has ink blended hexagons; I die cut a sheet of window sheet using 3 of the dies, and use it as a mask.

Then the top layer, I added a few different ink colours onto a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper, and then once it was dry, used the same hexagons to die cut the shapes. This card uses two of the new In colours; Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party, along with Pacific Point, Soft Seafoam and Basic Black.

Geometric Happy Birthday using Beautiful Shapes from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The sentiment is from Artistically Inked and is heat embossed in White onto Basic Black. This card is finished with a trio of Adhesive Backed Hexagons.

Don’t forget to pop over to the Inspire.Create blog for more masculine inspiration and to add your own projects to our link-up!

InspireINK | Best of 2021

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

This month’s InspireINK blog hop is a ‘Best of 2021’ theme. I don’t think this year has been what anyone has expected, its been challenging, surprising, upsetting, and to be completely honest with you I can’t wait for 2022 to start and us to leave 2021 well behind.

There are of course some good things about 2021, I finally got my craft room into some sort of order (although it’s not yet finished!), and I did manage to get some creative time back. I thought I would share my favourite make of 2021 for this months InspireINK Blog Hop, this fun card using Artistically Inked!

I’m going to have to get this stamp set back out, I haven’t inked it in ages and I absolutely LOVE it!

What is your favourite make of 2021? Share it with me on Facebook or Instagram!

InspireINK | Winter Birthdays with Artistically Inked

Hello! Gosh, I cannot remember the last time I joined in with this blog hop! I feel super guilty as its one I actually help to run… but life keeps getting in the way. Anyway, I managed to get some creative time recently, and got cards made for a few different challenges, so I’m slightly (ever so slightly) ahead for a hot minute!

InspireINK is a group of super talented stampers, and I think we are all from the same Stampin’ Up! team too. I recently got to spend the weekend with some of these ladies, and I think that has also helped to spur me on to remember to get my act together with joining in..

Anyway, this months theme is ‘Winter Birthday’…. and initially I had planned to make a birthday card using a Christmas stamp set. But, then I saw a card on Instagram and I got inspired into using leaves, and so this card arrived on my desk!

Happy Birthday handmade card using Artistically Inked from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

These leaves (and the sentiment) are from Artistically Inked, which I have to say, while I LOVE it, had had never thought of using these colours with it! Does this happen to anyone else when your using a stamp set from a suite, that you just get stuck using the colours from the Designer Series Paper?!

Here I’ve used Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz for a Autumnal / Winter-y feel.

Leafy Birthday Card using Artistically Inked from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I’ve even used a technique I have done for ages on this one… ink splatter! I grabbed my Stampin’ Write marker in Pear Pizzazz to add a bit of background interest.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

Do hop on to another one of the InspireINK blogs using the links below for more Winter-y Birthday inspiration, and I hope to see you around here again soon.

Suite Highlight | Expressions in Ink

I shared the Sweet as a Peach Suite a few weeks ago, and loved giving you a bit more of an over view of a group of products. There are always a stack of suites in each Stampin’ Up! catalogue, and they are a great way of ensuring you can create perfectly coordinated projects.

Expressions in ink handmade birthday card using Artisitically Inked from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The Expressions in Ink suite isn’t one that you could easily miss, seeing as its on the front of this years Annual Catalogue. But it is one that could be tricky to use.

Pretty faux alcohol ink birthday card using Expressions in Ink from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The Designer Series Paper in this suite is stunning! The colour combination of Evening Evergreen, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink, Shaded Spruce, and gold foiling, with florals and alcohol ink backgrounds. Of course, this paper is currently out of stock because it’s so lovely! However, I am keeping my eye on when it might be back, and will update my social media when its back available.

I think my favourite part of this suite though is the Ephemera pack. I have been really enjoying the gold die cuts, and those sequins are so handy for an added touch of sparkle.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #094 | Thank You Artistically Inked

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge theme is Thank You. I love a thank you card, a cute little something to say thanks often speaks louder than the words written inside. I have been playing with the Expressions in Ink suite recently, and I am loving the Artistically Inked stamp set. It so pretty, but not cutesy, floral but not flower-y, just lovely.

Because this stamp set has lots of lovely little details, I have chosen to keep the colour palette simple; just Just Jade, Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Gold and Basic White. The background stamping is one of the stamps from Artistically Inked (possibly my favourite!), stamped in Just Jade.

This card is one of those layered ones that I really love. Layers of stamping, die cutting, bit more stamping, some embellishments. Layered, but clean.

I did take some time to fussy cut the heat embossed sentiment on this one. I did stamp it in Just Jade on Basic White and cut it into a rectangle, but it just didn’t look quite right.

Please pop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog to see more Thank You card inspiration from the Design Team, and add your own creations too!
