Hello! Welcome to the Metallics Blog Hop…. this is yet another blog hop brought to you by the fabulous Crafty Collaborations ladies. I have been slacking on joining in a bit recently, but really wanted to make this one.
I have to admit though, that I have slightly cheeted! I made this card on my YouTube Live last night… so some people might already have seen it. But, I’m sure no one minds!
The metallic elements of this card use the very lovely Splendid Day Designer Series Paper… which is one of my current favs! Its so pretty!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this evening. Now, I don’t usually blog this late in the day, but this week’ YouTube video was pre-recorded rather than Live because today is my daughter’s 3rd birthday, and so I thought I would set the blog post to go live at the same time.
Recently I’ve been having heaps of fun with the Abstract Beauty Suite from the January-June Mini catalogue. I am in LOVE with the Designer Series Paper! I shared a card using this suite over the weekend for Inspire.Create and wanted to re-make it… so I did!
I kept the diagonal theme with the other two cards I made this week. One using more of that fabulous paper, and one without.
This card also uses the Beautiful Shapes dies to cut out the Designer Series Paper and Basic White card stock.
This week’s final card doesn’t use the papers at all, rather all the little itty bitty stamps in this stamp set, along with Blushing Bride, Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, and Orchid Oasis.

Hello all! Last weekend I attended a whole weekend of crafting with my Stampin’ sisters for a fun team retreat. We had the BEST time! I did a round up on my YouTube on Wednesday night, but I thought I would link to a few of the swaps I received here, so that you can check them out in more details….
Helzie made these fabulous cards, and YouTube video to share;
Gez made these fun chocolate boxes;
Sally made these fun boxes (I still have mine sat on my desk… although the chocolates have gone!)
Jayne’s notebook is also still on my desk, and filled with things for the Card Club!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! If it’s your first time here, please consider subscribing to the blog or my emails to hear more from me, or checking out my Instagram where I post a new project (almost) daily.
This month’s InspireINK challenge was a really challenge for me…. so much that I choose to CASE a project from a very talented demonstrator, who is MUCH better at 3D crafting than me! However, I then managed to put the bag together upside down, so this is my Oops project, but I still think its a great project and so decided to share it anyway!

I shared the Sweet as a Peach Suite a few weeks ago, and loved giving you a bit more of an over view of a group of products. There are always a stack of suites in each Stampin’ Up! catalogue, and they are a great way of ensuring you can create perfectly coordinated projects.
The Expressions in Ink suite isn’t one that you could easily miss, seeing as its on the front of this years Annual Catalogue. But it is one that could be tricky to use.
The Designer Series Paper in this suite is stunning! The colour combination of Evening Evergreen, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Mint Macaron, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz, Polished Pink, Shaded Spruce, and gold foiling, with florals and alcohol ink backgrounds. Of course, this paper is currently out of stock because it’s so lovely! However, I am keeping my eye on when it might be back, and will update my social media when its back available.
I think my favourite part of this suite though is the Ephemera pack. I have been really enjoying the gold die cuts, and those sequins are so handy for an added touch of sparkle.

Hello! So, not only do I have a blog post for you today, but its the start of a new series here at StampinByHannah AND it includes a video too! Last weekend I attended a fabulous team event focused on the fabulous Sweet as a Peach suite from Stampin’ Up! and shared part of the video below as a Make and Take.
I adore team events, and I cannot wait for the day I can see these wonderful ladies in person for a great big hug. We usually get together 3 or 4 times a year, and I’m really missing seeing them all. This weekend was so nice, seeing everyone’s faces (although only on Zoom!), and getting to chat about crafty things.
So, every so often I am going to start sharing a blog post featuring a bunch of projects all using the same group of products.
One of the joys of Stampin’ Up! is the coordination, and suites take this coordination to another level. Grab a complete suite, add inks and card stocks and create a whole heap of projects that you can guarantee all work and coordinate together!
I have added a couple of other products to the suite, the Stitched So Sweetly dies are an absolute staple in my craft room. They just add the most perfect layer and are great for sentiments and focal images. The Tasteful Labels dies are another must have set for me, adding a little extra detail to every card. I’ve also used some Gilded Gems, just for a little sparkle too!
In the catalogue I wasn’t sure about this suite, however, once I started creating with it, I just couldn’t stop. The flower stamps are so pretty, although I think I do actually prefer the large peach stamp.
The Designer Series Paper in the You’re a Peach suite is a pretty collection of peach-y images, pretty florals, and some really handy basic prints. It’s all hand watercoloured and had a really fun colour palette of; Balmy Blue, Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Mango Melody, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz, and Petal Pink.
Check out the video for a full look at the suite, as well as how to create these multi-tonal, stamped peached.

Hello! Well, this is a bit exciting actually, as I have finally managed to get myself a bit more organised, film a video, and actually have some projects ready to share.
With the start of the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue, a group of us get together and swap project ideas. I LOVE sharing these fab demonstrators with you, and so I thought I’d share them on video as well as here.
This cute notebook was handmade by Fiona at blueoceancrafts.com. How cute are the puffins?!
This card from Debs at DebsyDaisy.com is a fab use of that Bark 3D embossing folder
This fabulous pouch was created by Karen MacDonald and included an adorable little notebook
Hilary sent this very pretty card using the Bloom where you are Planted suite
This is the card shared with my by Heather Fogan from StampwithNellie.com… embarassingly, I have no idea what I did with her lovely card, I think its lost somewhere in my craftroom, but I wanted to make sure she got a mention too
This final card is the card I sent them. Keeping things super simple (and quick), letting that lovely Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper do all the talking!

Hi folks! So, I had hoped to get this post up a little earlier, but the babies had other ideas! Anyway, better late than never right? This past week I managed to get back to my Thursday night Facebook Live’s, I would love to promise this slot every week, and that is my aim, but there might be a few misses before I can get back into the swing of them properly.
Exciting things are happening at Stampin’ Up! this month as we prepare for the launch of the 2021 Annual catalogue. Now, I need to apologise at this point because I put a post out last week with a form for catalogue requests, but then had some blog-y issues and so lost all the sign ups! So, if you would like a catalogue, please pop over to my Request a Catalogue page again. I am so sorry.
I thought for my first Facebook Live back, we’d take a look at the new Stampin’ Up! 2021-2023 In Colours. I am loving these 5 colours, and cannot wait to get properly inky using them!
Aren’t these colours so pretty. The 5 In Colours aren’t designed to work together usually, but rather to slot into the standard colour collection and introduce more ‘on tread’ colours, However, this year, I think anyway, that these 5 work really well together.
Take a look at the Video replay for a look at the colours in relation to some of our existing colours.
I did also manage to make a card using Fresh Freesia and one of the new stamp and die bundles too! The Pansy Patch stamp set is so pretty and I can see heaps of fabulously coloured flowers, both stamped and/or die cut coming with this one
The stamps and colours I used this week aren’t available to customers just yet, BUT you could add any of these items to your Starter Kit if you decide to become a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and join the fun!
I can’t wait to stamp with you all again, thanks for stopping by today.

If you’ve been here for a while you’ll know I love an inky technique, and as Stampin’ Up! have recently released their own Ink Blending Brushes I had to grab a set and have a go!
I’ve done Ink blending on the blog before, but always with a sponge, and while I like using a sponge for inky techniques, these new brushes make ink blending super easy.
The Blending Brushes are super soft, and so don’t leave those harsh lines that you can sometimes get with a sponge. I find that they blend colours together really well, particularly if you are using the same brush for two colours.
This first card blends Magenta Madness, Rich Razzleberry and Gray Granite, and I used the same brush for Magenta and Razzleberry. The stamp set here is So Much Love, and its a really pretty subtle floral that I head embossed onto the card stock before ink blending.
The sentiment and card base are both Gray Granite, and I think this really sets off the pinky/purple colours really well.
The dies I’ve used on both of these cards are the Stitched Rectangles dies. I find these so super handy, and the smaller dies are perfectly sized for loads of sentiments.
The Blending Brushes come in packs of 3, which I think is really handy as often 3 colours blended works really well. This second card I’ve blended Bumblebee, Granny Apply Green and Pool Party, for a really fun look.
The Blending Brushes are really easy to load with colour, just tap them onto your ink pads to pick up a little ink. I do tend to tap off once onto some scrap paper, but then its a simple case of using circle motions to sweep the ink onto the card stock. I should add, I do usually start off the card stock and work my way on with the colour, but this is probably just a habit from using sponges.
This card also uses the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. I just love this leaf stamp, it just adds the perfect level of something-ness to a background.
