Hey folks. I’ve got another simple stamping card for you today, again using the fabulous Daisy Lane Stamp Set.
Before I get onto the card, just a quick reminder that this month’s Code Club closes tonight, so get your orders in to join in with this months Free class
There are lots of lovely images in the Daisy Lane stamp set, and this cute daisy is probably my second fav behind the lovely Fern leaf.
Here I’ve repeat stamped the daisy using a few different Subtle family colours; Mind Macaron, Pool Party, Blushing Bride and Highland Heather.
I do love a simple, stamped card, and keeping this one simple the sentiment is stamped and punched out using Pretty Label Punch.

Hey folks! I’ve gone for a monotone card today, but a colour I don’t use all that often; Grapefruit Grove.
I have been playing with the Stitched Nested Labels dies recently, they are definitely one of my new catalogue MUST HAVE’s. They are so handy for a simple focal point, great for sentiments and just add a lovely detail to a card.
There is only one ink pad at work on this card. The background daisy’s have stamped off Grapefruit Grove while the Daisy and sentiment are stamped in full strength. I love this simple technique for a variation in colour when creating a simple card like this one.
I’ve been loving playing with the Daisy Lane stamp set this month, so much that it’s the focus of this month’s Code Club Class. To join in all you need to do is place an order using the Code Club Code!

Hey Folks! These Inspire.Create.Challenges are coming around awfully quickly at the moment, so quickly that it’s almost time for me to whip a whole new batch of challenges! (someone remind me to add that to my never ending To Do list!). This fortnights challenge is a pretty simple one, to use one or more of the new Stampin’ Up! In Colours
I love this years In Colours; not only to they pair beautifully with the existing Stampin’ Up! colour families, but they also work so well as a 5 way colour combination on their own.
I have already shared 2 fun cards using this colour combination, and today’s card is one that could easily be a sister to one of those! One of my current favourite die sets is the Well Written dies, they just add an extra special something to sentiments, but also they make a card all on their own.
Do pop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog to see the other In Colour creations of the Design Team and add your own too!

Hey folks! Today’s blog post is brought to you by one handed typing, my little girl is having one of those days where she just needs cuddles, and so I’ve currently got a baby in one arm while I type with the other. So, I do apologise for any spelling/typing errors!
When this Stamp Set landing in my lap, the first stamp I was drawn to was the fern leaf. I could make mountains of cards with the single stamp, it’s just one of those images I cannot get enough of!
This wreath effect is super easy to create too. I would recommend added the stickers to your stamps to help with positioning. These new Cling mount stickers are really easy to apply, and stop your stamps from falling off your clear blocks.
To create your wreath:
Draw a circle on your piece of card stock using a pencil. I tend to use a circle die but you could use your glass or pen pot from your desk!
Stamp the first leaf at the 12 O Clock position on the circle, then the second at 6, third at 3 and forth at 9.
Then add stamping between the images you’ve already stamped.
Make sure that you line up the same part of the leaf with the pencil line each time you stamp to ensure your leaves are the same size all the way around your wreath
I’ve kept the colour combination a simple one here, although I did debate for a good while about whether to go for blues or greens!
The sentiment is also taken from Daisy Lane and I’ve die cut it out using the Stitched Labels dies. I LOVE this die set, its so pretty and really very versatile too

Hey Folks! I mentioned a week or so ago about how much I love the new Bloom and Grow stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I’ve had a heap of fun playing with it, and have a stack of cards already made with it that I’ll share over the coming weeks and months. Today’s card is fun mix of heat embossing and watercolour…
I couldn’t wait to have a play with some watercolouring and this stamp set, and although I will be doing some more detailed watercolouring of this stamp, today’s card is more of a loose watercolour wash effect.
The stamp set has 3 pretty floral, almost boarder, stamps. All three are quite different but all would work for this card. Here I’ve heat embossed the stamp in Copper Stampin’ Emboss powder onto a piece of Watercolour Paper.
I pulled out 3 bold colours for this watercolour; Rich Razzleberry, Shaded Spruce and Blueberry Bushel. This watercolour effect is really easy to create using an Aqua-painter. Just get that water-y ink onto the card stock, clean the brush and on with the next colour; leaving colours to mix together on the paper and dry with hard edges.
The sentiment is also from Bloom and Grow and has been heat embossed in matching Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

Hey folks! These should now be safe to share, particularly as I posted them last week (If you shopped with me in May, and didn’t get your card, do let me know!)
These cards were an absolute pain to photograph, and I really have not done them justice at all because the notecards are just gorgeous! But, I just had to share them with you anyway.
These note card come in THE most gorgeous tin too! I am planning on collecting a few of these tins over the coming year, not that I know what I’m going to put in them!
The circle in the centre was die cut out from the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper and then layered onto a couple of other die cut circles. I did add a die cut circle on the inside of the card too to hide the glue!
The sentiment is taken from the Free as a Bird stamp set which coordinates with the cards and Designer Series Paper.
I kept this month’s card simple, because really the note cards do all the talking! If you love the Bird Ballard suite though, do check out this months Crafty Selection Box for even more inspiration!

Hey Folks! I’ve got a slightly different style of card for me today (and another video… Yes! That’s 2 in less than a week!). I do love playing around with ink, whether that’s stamping, watercolouring, ink blending… etc.
I’ve been having an absolute blast crafting with my June Crafty Selections kit. This fun monthly kit contains a wonderful mix of Designer Series Paper, embellishments and more, and comes with a jam packed sheet of inspiration too!
You can get all the details about this month’s Crafty Selection Box HERE. Booking for this month’s box closes on Wednesday at midnight, and I would hate for you to miss out.
I’ve added a couple of bits to this months kit to create this card, in particular the Free and a Bird stamp and die bundle. I just can’t get enough of these birds, the are stunning simply stamped on their own, but really start to sing when they are coloured. This time I’ve used Blends, but I have a plan to watercolour them soon too!
The Stitched Nested Labels Dies are definitely a new favourite in my craft room. They’ve started to appear on a whole lot of projects, and I can see them being a staple for a long time to come!

Hey folks! Not only do I have a couple of fun card ideas, I am super excited to be sharing a video with you today. I asked on my Facebook page earlier in the week about whether you would like to see some random Facebook Lives, or regular video uploads, and the opinion was pretty mixed! So, I’ve decided that I’ll film when I can, and if I get in the odd Facebook Live too then that great! Anyway, yesterday James was home and so was able to look after Niamh for a little bit while I made today’s cards and video.
I have seen this type of card a couple of times recently, and I thought it was such a great way to share the new In Colour Designer Series Paper with you! I love the patterns in this years colour family Designer Series Paper stacks. They are just so easy to use. Each colour family, plus both sets of In Colours have a pack, all with the same patterns, and I might just have to have them all!
The sentiment on this first card (yes, I have 2 for you today!) is from Bloom and Grow. I am in LOVE with this stamp set, I can’t decide if its the pretty florals or the sentiments that’s getting my vote, but I can’t put it away none the less!
This card comes together really quickly, after you’ve done a bit of die cutting with the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I’ve matted it all on a card base of Terracotta Tile, and then matched the stamping and the Faceted Dot Embellishment.
Card Ideas Video
The second card uses the same idea as the first, but I’ve stepped it up a bit and paired it with the Well Said stamp set and Well Written dies. These have only recently found their way into my craft room, but I have to say I am loving using them!
The 5 new In Colours work so well as a colour combination, they really are a great addition to your crafty stash. I have a fun In Colour Club about to start and there are a couple of places left! You can find out all the details and sign up HERE. Booking closes tomorrow night (15th June) and midnight.
