This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is an inspiration challenge based on a fabulous card by the lovely Verity Purglove.
I took the colour combination and the basic outline sketch of the card, and created this one.
This card uses the Art in Bloom bundle, which includes a super fun embossing folder and coordinating die. I’m going to have to do a video soon about how this works, because it would take me a very long blog post to explain I think.
It’s very pretty though, and absolutely worth it.

Hello! Oh my goodness, so, I’ve had a busy few weeks and so my blog has been a little quiet (even more than usual!), but I have good reason. So, I started back at work 3 weeks ago (and its been more than a bit crazy!), but also I’ve been completing a massive craft room overhaul! My craft room is almost done, I will be sharing that over on YouTube very soon! and hopefully that means I can get back to Facebook Live videos next weekend too
Anyway, today is Inspire.Create.Challenge day, and this week we have challenged you all to use the brand new Stampin’ Up! In Colours. I am loving these! They just feel so fresh, clean and really fun.
I’ve had a few reasons to make some projects recently, and this particular card is destined for my Stampin’ Up! Team Leader when I return some vouchers to her this coming week. I have been collecting for a while with something particular in mind, and it will finish my new craft space off perfectly!
Anyway, I digress. This card uses the 2021-2023 In Colour Designer Series Paper, along with the Evening Evergreen ink and card stock.
I can’t make a project at the moment without using the Stitched So Sweetly dies, and this card was another perfect excuse to get out the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss. The sentiment is from the Pansy Patch stamp set (another current fav), and I really enjoy the look of it stamped at the bottom of a much bigger die cut.
Do pop over to the Inspire.Create blog to check out the rest of the Design Team’s creations and to add your own In Colours creations!

This week’s Inspire.Create is a fun sketch. Pop over to the blog to see the sketch, as well as the other fabulous Design Team creations. While I do love a sketch, I also love to change things up a bit, and so I used this sketch as more of a jumping off point than a recipe!
This watercoloured panel has been sat on my desk for a few weeks, just waiting for the right project. It uses the Sweet Strawberry stamp set, stamped in Stazon and watercoloured in Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Fresh Freshia and Balmy Blue.
Because the stamped panel is such a feature, I chose to keep the rest of the card super simple, and added the heat embossed sentiment on black card stock to pick up on the black stamping.

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge theme is ‘Home Decor’, something that I don’t often venture into with my paper crafting to be honest. However, I do love a bit of decorating and accessorising my home, and when I do push myself to make something, it always makes me happy when I look at it.
I have been having a great time playing with the Pansy Patch suite from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual catalogue, and one of the cards in the catalogue really caught my eye. So, this is a CASE (copy and selectively edit) project of one in the new catalogue. I think it works well in a frame, what do you think?
The pansy’s are stamped using several stamps, but they are super easy to line up and create wonderfully lifelike blooms.
The large flower is stamped in Pale Papaya, Calypso Coral, Bumblebee (stamped off), Calypso Coral and Blackberry Bliss. While the smaller one is Polished Pink (stamped off), Polished Pink, Calypso Coral and Bumblebee. The leaves are Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.
The Designer Series Paper is from the coordinating paper pack, and I added a layer of vellum embossed using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.
The ‘Smile’ sentiment is from another stamp set, Lovely You, and is stamped in Evening Evergreen onto a scrap of Soft Seafoam card stock.
The piece is finished with a couple of the Bumblebee trinkets, which did mean I couldn’t put the glass in the frame, but I think I can live with that!

This weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge is a fabulous opportunity to use some really bold colours! I love colour, its one of the reasons I love Stampin’ Up! but these 4 in combination are a little bright, even for me!
However, I decided to embrace the bright, and keep the rest of the card super simple. I have shared a few projects using the Brushed Blooms bundle this week, I absolutely love it! It’s such a shame its not carrying forward into the new Annual catalogue.
This card is completed with a sentiment from Brushed Blooms and a die cut layered flower from the coordinating die set.
Pop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog to check out the other Design Teams ideas with this bright colour combo, and to share your own creations

So, today’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is to use a card by the lovely Jo Blackman as inspiration. Jo’s card uses some fabulous pieces of Designer Series Paper, but I’m currently in a ‘need a quick card in a hurry’ phase of crafting, and so instead of cutting all that paper, I found some paper with a similar printed effect instead!
Again I’ve reached for In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, which I am so happy to see is staying with us into the new catalogue! I am loving all the textures in this paper at the moment and I think it makes some really interesting projects
The sentiment is from Tasteful Touches, and is die cut from the coordinating Tasteful Labels dies

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah! I’ve been a bit quiet recently. I had all the good intentions at the start of March to get back into regular content, but then it all went a bit strange, and my craft room was forgotten for a few weeks.
However, I was a little bit organised, and already had this card made ready for this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge, so yay for me 3 weeks ago!
This weekends challenge is a sketch, and I love what the rest of the Design Team have created with it. Do pop over to the Inspire.Create blog to check them out and leave them all some love.
I’ve pulled out the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for this one, I just love the textures. However, when I checked the inventory on this on Friday it was low in stock, and retiring, so do be quick if you don’t want to miss it!
The Tasteful Touches however, and the coordinating Tasteful Labels dies are both carrying forward to the new catalogue! Yay!
I’m not usually madly keen on fussy cutting, but I couldn’t resist cutting that flower… and then the sentiment just sort of happened to! It took a little while, but I totally think it was worth it this time!

Do you ever buy a stamp set, and then are so intimidated by it that it sits unused? Brushed Blooms is one of those stamp sets for me; I absolutely love the painted effect florals, and brush strokes, but could I find a way to use it? Nope! So, I took this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge as an excuse to get it inky, and I really like the result.
I have to admit that I also did a fair bit of Pinterest scrolling before making this card too, and so there is some other external inspiration.
The colour combination here is really classic; Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Basic White. So pretty! and the card was really simple and quick to put together.
I am loving using those Stitched Rectangle at the moment and so they had to make an appearance on this card too.
The theme this time for Inspire.Create is Anything Goes! So, why not hope over and add your latest creation for us to see!

Hi all! Gosh, it’s been a mad couple of weeks. Poor baby boy had to have his 8 week vaccinations, and that’s basically had me sat on the sofa cuddling him for the past week, leaving me with no time to craft. However, I did manage to find 10 minutes a couple of weekends ago to have a quick colour of the fabulously fun Darling Donkeys for this weeks Inspire.Create.Challenge.
The theme this time around is ‘Cute Critters’ and we have so many in the Stampin’ Up! catalogues at the moment, I can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
This Donkey is stamped in Memento Black ink, and coloured using both Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends, with a hint of Dark Mossy Meadow and Dark Poppy Parade for that rose.
Darling Donkeys is one of the current Sale-a-bration stamp sets, and is available for free when you spend £45 before the end of February.
I’ve paired this chap with some of the new Colour Family Designer Series Paper in Gray Granite. This paper will be available in the next Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue, or you can get it now if you grab a Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit.
Do check out the Inspire.Create.Challenge blog for more inspiration and to add your own Critter Creations!

Hello! So, this week’s inspire.create.challenge is a theme, and we’ve got a bit of a spin on floral, in that the theme is Garden. I will admit I’ve gone down a bit of a floral route with Painted Poppies, and possibly more meadow than Garden, but I really like this fairly simple card design.
The Poppies are stamped in Memento Black ink, which is my absolute favourite Black ink ever I think. It’s so crisp, and a true black tone, plus its great to use with Stampin’ Blends, which is what I have done here. The Poppies are coloured with both light and dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend pens. Instead of laying down a flat colour, I’ve added the colour in dots which gives this lovely textured look.
The bottom edge is a cut die, cut from Basic Black card stock, such a pretty finish.
