Inspire.Create.Challenge #123 | Hues of Happiness

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for another Inspire.Create. sketch challenge! I LOVE this sketch idea, and the Design Team have made some fabulous projects. Hop over to the Inspire.Create blog, and add your own projects to the link up. We’d love to see them!

This card was inspired by Verity Pursglove, as a Design Team we add our projects to a shared folder and she’d used ink blending on the panel on her card. This inspired me to look at doing something rainbow, which led me to the Hues of Happiness suite and so this card was born!

I’ve stamped onto the Designer Series Paper with Night of Navy ink… I think this really adds something to the paper.

The sentiment is from the Happiness Abounds stamp set and I stamped it twice in Night of Navy to allow me to fussy cut all the parts.

This card is finished with a trio of Pastel Pearls.

You can find the full supply list HERE, along with links to the products in my webstore.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #122 | Happier Than Happy

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week… You might have noticed that I’ve been a bit quiet recently. I’ve been studying for my Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification for my day job, and last week I finally handed it in. All finished! Such a relief! Of course, we’ve had other drama’s since then that have stopped me getting into my craft room, but I’m hoping that they will all be resolved this week and I can get back to regularly scheduled crafting.

Anyway, that’s enough of my waffle… this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is to make a project inspired by THIS fabulous card by the very lovely Denita Wright-Smee. Usually, I take these inspiration challenges and use them a bit like a sketch, but this time I thought I would use the same suite and use that as my jumping off point.

Happier than Happy Cute childrens birthday card using Happy Forest Friends from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This is the Happy Forest Friends suite, and Happier than Happy Stamp Set, from this years Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. I know that it is designed for children’s cards, but I just think this whole suite is too cute not to share!

The background is a piece of the Designer Series Paper, and I’ve added some stamped and die cut toadstools, the fabulous big brown bear and a bow of linen thread. Simple, and quick, but oh so cute!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #121 | WooHoo Amazing Phrasing!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah, for an inspire.create.challenge this morning. I absolutely love the colour combination for this week’s challenge, totally inspired by the brand new Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! Now I could have used that paper for this challenge, but no, instead I reached for a Sale-a-bration stamp set I haven’t inked yet; Amazing Phrasing!

Stampin' Up! colour combination

For all this colour combination is taken from a pretty Festive paper… it’s really great all year around, and so this week I have a birthday card… but without the Happy Birthday!

alternative birthday card idea using Amazing Phrasing from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I of course, couldn’t not pair Amazing Phrasing with Ray of Light (I am having such fun with this stamp!)… here I used sticky notes to mask off the top and bottom of the card stock panel and then stamped it using my Stamparatus and Pale Papaya ink.

The WooHoo is stamped in Poppy Parade and then fussy cut, but because its a simply enough shape it was really quick to do. The other parts of the sentiment were stamped in Bermuda Bay and Pool Party, and then I used a trio of the Fine Sparkle Adhesive Backed Gems to finish.

Amazing Phrasing is currently available for Free with a spend of £90 during July and August, and you can find the supply list for this card HERE.

Don’t forget to hop over to the Inspire.Create blog to see what the rest of the Design Team have been up to with this colour combo.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #120 | Home Decor with Storybook Gnomes!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week! I am super excited for July, I have LOTS planned… but first I thought it only right that we kick of the month of July with a bit of Christmas in July, and a festive Home Decor project!

This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is designed to push your papercraft boundries a little, and the theme is Home Decor! I would LOVE to see your Decor makes, just add them to the end of the Inspire.Create blog post and inspire me to make something else for my home.

Storybook Gnomes Home Decor frame IKEA papercraft using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

This project uses the Storybook Gnomes from the new July-December Mini Catalogue, and while it is festive, I think I could get away with this sitting out in my living room for most of winter. The toadstool is die cut from the Designer Series Paper, but the gnome is stamped and coloured using Watercolour Pencils. (side note: did you know, July is Watercolour Month… I’ll be sharing more about that soon!)

Inspire.Create.Challenge #119 | Botanical Layers and In Colours

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this weekend. This week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a colour combination… featuring the new 2022-2024 In Colours.

I LOVE these 5 colours, they are so bright and fun, and they work really well together too. Here I’ve used all 5 colours, and paired them with the fabulous Botanical Layers Bundle which is a Stamp and Vellum combination. I have a YouTube live planned with this one, because I think it’s so unusual, but really lovely to work with.

Thinking of You using Botanical Layers from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This card has a Starry Sky card base, with a Basic White layer which I have added all 5 of those In Colours to using a Blending Brush. Then a layer of the Lovely Layers Vellum from that Botanical Layers bundle, which I have added some extra stamping to using the Botanical Layers Stamp set and some embossing power.

The sentiment is from the stamp stamp set, and is layered with a piece of the In Colour Glimmer Paper.

Head over to the Inspire.Create blog to see the rest of the Design Team’s creations and to add your own In Colour makes too!

Congratulations handmade floral card using Hues of Happiness from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

This card was born from a scrap! Can you believe that?! The Designer Series Paper is from Hues of Happiness and I have had great fun hacking it apart… and this piece just seemed perfect for this card.

The flowers are from Happiness Abounds, and are stamped in Night of Navy for a really simple outlined look, then I’ve finished this card with a fussy cut sentiment and a trio of Glossy Dots!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #117 | Guys card idea using Beautiful Shapes from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for another Inspire.Create.Challenge! This week we have a Masculine theme; something I think a lot of use struggle with. When I’m making cards for men, I try to steer clear of florals, ribbon or lots of embellishments, and try to stick to simple stamping. Saying that, this card isn’t all that simple!

Masculine Happy Birthday using Beautiful Shapes from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I love the Abstract Beauty suite, and the dies are particularly great! These fun nesting hexagons are great for a geo-metric guy card. The base layer has ink blended hexagons; I die cut a sheet of window sheet using 3 of the dies, and use it as a mask.

Then the top layer, I added a few different ink colours onto a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper, and then once it was dry, used the same hexagons to die cut the shapes. This card uses two of the new In colours; Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party, along with Pacific Point, Soft Seafoam and Basic Black.

Geometric Happy Birthday using Beautiful Shapes from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

The sentiment is from Artistically Inked and is heat embossed in White onto Basic Black. This card is finished with a trio of Adhesive Backed Hexagons.

Don’t forget to pop over to the Inspire.Create blog for more masculine inspiration and to add your own projects to our link-up!

Thank you Abstract Beauty using Hello Beautiful from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

I have been playing with the Abstract Beauty suite this past week, while I wait for my Annual Catalogue order to arrive! I absolutely LOVE the Hello Beautiful stamp set, but the Designer Series Paper is gorgeous with all that fabulous gold foiling.

This week’s sketch had me a bit stumped if I’m honest, however I do love this card. I think I might make another version for this week’s YouTube video though… so do watch out for that!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #114 | Inspiration with Blessings of Home from Stampin’ Up!

Welcome to StampinByHannah today for a fabulous inspiration challenge with Inspire.Create.Challenges. This week’s challenge is inspired by the lovely Kate Bolt, hop over to the Inspire.Create.Challenges blog to see the original inspiration card.

I’ve used Kate’s card as a sketch, but also as inspiration to use the Heart and Home suite. I LOVE this suite, particularly the Designer Series Paper… although I haven’t used it on this card.

Pretty birthday card using Blessing of Home from Stampin' Up! with StampinByHannah

To cretae this card you will need:

Usually you would use Memento to stamp when you’re colouring with Stampin’ Blends, however as Stampin’ Up! inks are water based they also work with the markers. So, here I’ve stamped the floral image 4 times in Basic Gray ink, and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends
