It’s a bit of a busy day here today, with two blog hops in the space of 3 hours! However, I couldn’t miss the InspireINK blog hop this month, with their theme of Romance. The Hey Love stamp set is one of my new catalogue favourites (so much so that I have a whole Facebook Live using it tomorrow!)
There are some really lovely love themed products in this years Spring Summer Catalogue, particularly the Designer Series Papers, but they didn’t inspire me as much as the Hey Love stamp set! One first look through the catalogue back in November I was totally taken by this adorable gorilla and his other loved up chums!
Here I’ve grabbed my Stampin’ Blends in Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo to colour him in. I’ve kept my colouring simple with mostly flat colour and a few shadows added with the Dark Smoky Slate pen, but you could totally go to town on this guy!
This card was layered up with the layering Circles dies and a heat embossed sentiment, but it was missing something. I knew I had a simple heart stamp somewhere, turns out it was on my desk the whole time in the Piece of Cake Stamp Set, and so I added a trio of trio’s of hearts in Smoky Slate!
I can’t wait to see what the rest of the team have created for this theme. To find out, use the NEXT button to hop along to the next blog in our hop…

Oh, yes, today the team are blog hopping again! This time to celebrate the start of Sale-a-bration! I am in LOVE with the free goodies you can earn as part of Sale-a-bration this year, and don’t even get me started on the tote bag that you could add to a Starter Kit!
I’ve been playing with the Butterfly Gala suite a lot this month as it formed the basis for my first Card Class of 2019, and so I thought I would carry on with a theme… and use the coordinating FREE Designer Series Paper for a cute bag.
These papers are stunning, with a pretty pastel palette on one side and black and white on the other, PLUS they coordinate with the fabulous Butterfly Gala Stamp and Punch Bundle too…
I’ve got a quick Video Tutorial for this one coming on Monday so do check back
Do check out the rest of the team’s Sale-a-bration inspiration…

I had a moment last week where I realised I am almost NEVER on time with my submissions for the challenge blog that I founded… until now! So, when I realised, I immediately ran up to my craft room and made today’s card with the items on my desk. I was prepping for my January Card Class (which was last night) and had made a heap of cards using the fabulous Gingham Gala suite and Butterfly Gala stamp set.
This week’s challenge is a super simple sketch… share what you do with this over on the Inspire.Create Blog!
I have been having loads of fun creating butterflies in different colours, coloured in different ways, and layering different stamps together to create different looks. This butterfly is stamped in Gray Granite, and then the solid colour of the wings is stamped with two separate stamps inked up with Highland Heather stamped off once. The sentiment was then stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in Gold over the top.
The butterfly was then die cut using one of the Stitched Shapes dies and layered with a piece of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper and some of the GORGEOUS Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets (FREE) from Sale-a-bration.

Hello! well… I usually post these blog posts slightly earlier in the day, but I’ve been busy prepping for my first Card Class of 2019 on Tuesday, filming a couple of tutorials and taking a bunch of pictures for upcoming blog posts… so things have been a little delayed today.
It’s Sunday, Facebook Live day here at StampinByHannah, and this week I thought I would give you some of my Cling Mount Stamp Top Tips!
Stampin’ Up! changed the formulation of the stickers that go on the backs of your red rubber stamps with the launch of the Spring Summer catalogue. These new Cling stamps are SUPER sticky, so there is NO chance that your going to have that awful moment where your freshly inked stamp falls off the block onto your 99% completed project ever again.
Cling Mount Top Tips
Get those stickers on your Stamps! I NEVER used the clear mount stickers (because they just didn’t work!) but these are ace
Once you’ve got your sticker on the stamp, its not coming back off, so use the outside edges of the stamp to ensure perfect alignment of the sticker and the stamp
New Cling stickers are SUPER sticky; I find that removing some of the inital stickiness by putting the stamp on and off of your trousers / top / cardigan can be useful
Add a little bit of Washi Tape to one end of your new Cling stickers to help you get your stamps back off your blocks. Please do not that the stickers are so sticky that you are at risk of ripping your stamps when taking them off of blocks or out of the case
Use the flat end of your Take Your Pick tool to get your stamps off your block
Have lots of fun using them!
I only made one card on this morning’s Facebook Live, but I do think it was a good one…
Flowing Fountain is one of those stamp set in the catalogue that is so easily missed, which is such a shame because it’s so pretty. I’ve actually taken inspiration from the catalogue for this card, as it uses the same technique as used by Stampin’ Up!
You can find all the card measurements over on my Standard Card Measurements page.
Do pop over to my Facebook Page, and be sure to Like it so you don’t miss my weekly Facebook Live’s (every Sunday at 11AM)

Oh yes, it’s Sunday, and that only means on thing here at StampinByHannah…. it’s Facebook Live Day!
This week I thought I would take the opportunity to recap this year’s Sale-a-bration offers… and make 3 cards using the Hello Cupcake Stamp set.
This first card was my attempt at #simplestamping. I think this card would make a great quick make for that neighbours birthday you’ve forgotten, or change the sentiment for a fun Thank you or Just because card for your milkman or UPS man!
The second card was a slightly stepped up version of that cute note card. I swapped the card base for Mint Macaron Card Stock and added a layer of Very Vanilla. If you want to know my card measurements, I almost always us the same, you can find the over on my Standard Card Measurements Page.

I mentioned in the video there are 3 parts to Sale-a-bration:
Shop – Ever time you spend £45 (on anything on the Stampin’ Up! website) between now and the end of March, you earn a Sale-a-bration credits which you can swap in for fun Stamp Sets like the cute Hello Cupcake Set I used today. There are 2 items that require 2 credits, or a £90 spend at the back of the Sale-a-bration booklet
Host – Earn extra Stampin’ Rewards when you spend over £200 or host a party that spends over the same amount
Join – Become a part of Stampin’ Up!, choose £170 worth of goodies and pay just £99 (or spend an extra £26 and get the GORGEOUS Craft and Carry Tote too!) and then get at least 20% discount on all purchases, take part in team events (like yesterday’s Blog Hop) or just be a happy shopper!
The 3rd card is further stepped up, with a fussy cut cupcake and embossed circle… but it’s not quite as stepped up and my original design which also has Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper and a heat embossed sentiment.
Before I go, I just want to quickly remind you that booking for my January Craft Class closes tomorrow night at 10PM! You can find all the information and book your place HERE!

I am so lucky to be part of a fabulous team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. This month we have 2 fun blog hops jam packed full of crafty ideas and inspiration for you all. Our first Pootlers blog hop of 2019 celebrates the launch of the Brand New Stampin’ Up! Spring Summer catalogue. I am so lucky to coordinate these lovely ladies, but even I haven’t seen their creations this time, so I am SO excited to see what they have all made!
One of the things I’ve been doing in my own crafting recently is trying to keep things simple, and when Stampin’ Up! make Designer Series Paper as pretty as this it becomes super easy! Here I have used the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper, and used the colours in it (Night of Navy and Balmy Blue) and my inspiration for the rest of the card.
The stamp on this card says everything, its taken from the new Amazing Life stamp set, which I was lucky enough to get for FREE at a Stampin’ Up! event back in November. I am So Happy to have Stampin’ Up! in my life, as well as the wonderful team of ladies (and gents) some of whom are taking part in the blog hop today. I can wax lyrical about the team, Stampin’ Up! events, the discount and more… but I’ll save you from that, and let you hop through the list of projects below!

Oh. My. Goodness, It’s been a month since our last Inspire.Create.Challenge, but it’s still come around awfully quickly. This past couple of weeks I’ve been busy prepping for my January Classes and Events, and the Hey Love stamp set has been sat out on my desk quite a bit… So, it only seemed right for it to find it’s way onto my first Inspire.Create post of 2019 too
We have a fun colour combination for this challenge; Call Me Clover, Night of Navy, Pineapple Punch, Calypso Coral and Lovely Lipstick. While these bright colours make me very happy, having them all together gave me a bit of a headache. So instead I opted to use the power of White Space on this one.
Me and my husband don’t usually go for mushy Valentines Cards, and so I thought this simple design was a pretty perfect choice for him… and who doesn’t love a Crocodile wearing heart boppers!
Check out the Inspire.Create blog to check out the other Design Team Members creations and to share yours with us too!

I had SO much fun with the Brand New Butterfly Gala stamp and punch bundle on this mornings Facebook Live! I do a Facebook Live every Sunday… this week was a little rushed as I was also in the middle of icing a cake and prepping for a Sunday Roast for 10 people… but I didn’t want to miss my first Facebook Live of 2019!
This week I have been so inspired by the Butterfly Gala stamp set, particularly because it has a fabulous matching punch!
The first card I made this was was this simply stamped Thank You card, CASE’d from THIS CARD made by my lovely friend Verity! Verity made this card using Black card stock and ink, but I have to say I’m a much bigger fan of something a little softer (most of the time) and so swapped the Basic Black for Night of Navy. Check out the video for how I coloured those butterflies!

Butterfly Gala is part of the Gingham Gala suite in the new Stampin’ Up! Spring Summer Catalogue. I have a fun Launch Party taking place next weekend (with Make and Takes that I will share next week!), and a fun Card Class using the suite on the 22nd January too! I would LOVE to see you at my 2019 events
The second card today was inspired by my other friend Jill, who made THIS CARD back in December. I loved the look of the Butterflies stacked on top of each other on Jill’s card, and just had to give it a StampinByHannah twist. Here the 6 butterflies are stamped Tone on Tone in 3 colours; Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Balmy Blue. I really love this soft look, not something that would be in my usual style!

Well, Hello! Long time no see…. I’ve missed the last couple of InspireINK blog hops due to moving house and feeling pretty unwell. But today, I am back! Yipee! Joining in again with a fun Winter Thank You themed blog hop with this lovely ladies. Do click the NEXT button at the end of this post to hop to the next blog in our chain, and see more fun Winter Thank You creations!
I am keeping things pretty simple with my crafting at the moment, quick stamping, a couple of colours, fast projects… and this card fits into that quite well. The snowflake background uses 2 stamps from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set (which is in the current Annual Catalogue), stamped in 2 colours; Balmy Blue and Gray Granite.
The sentiment is actually from one of my staple stamp sets; Thankful Thoughts, although I don’t think I’ve used it before! Here its stamped in Night of Navy, and then die cut using the Layering Circle Dies. I’ve added a scalloped circle behind it in Gray Granite to give it a little extra pop!
The card is finished with a cute bow of Night of Navy Bakers Twine. Quick and Simple!
Do hop along to the next blog on this months InspireINK blog hop for another Winter Thank You themed project.
