InspireINK | Advent with the Kindest Gnomes!

InspirInk Blog Hop Header Stampin' Up! team blog hop

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this weekend for the fabulous InspireINK blog hop. This month we are celebrating all things Advent as we are now firmly in the countdown to Christmas! I have to admit, I was skipping this month, however, I was in Sainbury’s yesterday and spotted the very cute Daily Milk Little Robins… and just had to make cute box to put them in!

This very dinky box is one I have shared before… although it was back in 2017! Gosh, that feels like a very long time ago… before we moved house or had children. It’s super easy to put together, and opens from the bottom so you don’t need to worry about how to keep the top closed.

I’ve gone for a Pool Party box, and used the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper to decorate. Keeping it simple, mostly because its a bit last minute… but also, because this paper is so gorgeous it needed to be centre stage!

Measurements:

Card stock; 17 x 15 cm

Score on the long side at; 4. 8. 12 and 16 cm

Score on the short side at 2, 6, 10 and 13 cm

Inspire.Create.Challenge #130 | Full of Love

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today, for what, for me, is a bitter sweet blog post. Today is the 130th Challenge with Inspire.Create.Challenge, but also my very last challenge as the challenge coordinator. I have absolutely LOVED running the challenge for the past 5 years, but life is super busy and I just don’t have the time and energy to dedicate to it anymore. So, today I hand over to the delightfully wonderful Jo Blackman.

So, today’s card is for the wonderful Inspire.Create Design Team, both past and present, who have supported both the challenge and me over the years.

This card uses the Full of Love stamp set. I stamped a bunch of these envelopes last week, and fussy cut them ready for me to create something. Honestly, I just fancied doing some fussy cutting that evening. So today, when I sat down to make my card, I just had to colour it in! Of course, I have used a bunch of Stampin’ Blends to do that; Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Orchid Oasis and Crumb Cake.

The card base is Sahara Sand, and I added a Basic White layer with some Orchid Oasis ink blending underneath the Full of Love envelope.

Please pop over to the Inspire.Create blog and check out the rest of the Design Team’s creations this week.

You can find the Supply List for this card HERE

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today… I thought I would use the Global Design Project for this weeks Stampin’ Inspiration video again this week. They have a fabulous colour combination challenge of Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie… and I couldn’t resist!

Lovely You is one of my craft room staples; with cute little images and pretty sentiments, I could use the set all day long.

Quick and Easy card using Lovely You from Stampin' Up! for the Global Design Project with StampinByHannah

The other thing about this stamp set is that it is currently on Sale as part of the Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Sale that started yesterday and goes through the 18th November. There’s discounts off stamps, dies, embossing folders and Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue. Very Exicting!

Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop | Painted Poppies

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah today for the Stampin’ Dreams blog hop. This month our theme is ‘In Memoriam’ and so the only stamp set I could reach for was Painted Poppies. I love this stamp set for sympathy cards, its just so perfect.

One of the reasons I love the Painted Poppies stamp set so much is that it has 2 step stamping, with a couple of more solid images that you can use to ” colour” those floral and leaf stamps.

The coordinating dies are also fabulous, and I’ve paired it here with the Peaceful Moments for the sentiment

Stampin’ Inspiration | Hand Penned Petals for Global Design Project

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah. This evening’s YouTube Live was so much fun… although I did make a bit of a boo boo! You can’t see it on the final card though, so really, unless you watch the video you wont know what I did wrong.

Anyway, today’s card is inspired by 2 fabulous challenges. 1. This weeks Global Design Project, and 2. The 30 Days of Christmas Card Making colour combination.

I haven’t used the Hand Penned Petals stamp set for ages… but I thought it would work well for this, particularly with the hint of watercolour on that flower.

The colours here at Polished Pink, Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia, with a bit of Crumb Cake for some balance

International Blog Highlight | Thank You Sun Prints

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah… I haven’t joined in with the Blog Highlight for a little while, and I’ve really missed it! So, here we are, back again with a fun Thank You card I made on Sunday afternoon.

I love the Natures Prints stamp set and the coordinating dies (especially that wreath!) but I really struggle to get it used. So, I turned to a sketch I’ve used fair bit this year, of a layer of card stock and a layer of Designer Series Paper… and then had a play about with where the wreath could/should be…

The Sun Prints suite only has a few colours; Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Starry Sky. Here I’ve used Gray Granite as the card base, and then stamped in Night of Navy.

Can you see, there are 5 Rhinetones on this card? But they are subtle as I’ve coloured them with a dark Night of Navy Blend pen. I love the effect!

If you love this card as much as I do… please consider voting for it over on Kylie’s blog.

Quick and Easy Christmas Card using Kindest Gnomes from Stampin’ Up!

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for a quick and easy Christmas card idea. Sunday night is usually Facebook Live night… but this week I chose to prioritise spending an evening with my husband (it doesn’t happen often) and so I pre-recorded this weeks video instead.

This week I thought we could have a play with the Gnome dies from the Kindest Gnomes bundle. These cute a very cute ‘no stamp required’ Gnome. Here I’ve used Night of Navy and Basic White card stock along with a scrap of the Story Book Gnomes Designer Series Paper.

I just cannot get enough of the Stylish Shapes dies… the stitched edge detail one both the inner and outer edges just makes me happy. These basically have a permanent spot out on my desk… I hardly ever actually put them away, and I feel like I use them on just about every card!

Inspire.Create.Challenge #129 | Christmas Season

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah this week… this week’s Inspire.Create.Challenge is a theme… and we are going Festive! I LOVE making Christmas cards, but am not great at cards that you can mass produce. So, I thought I would make something simple that you could easily make heaps of!

This card uses the Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember stamp sets, and the following colours; Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red and Shaded Spruce.

The card base is Early Espresso with a layer of Crumb Cake before I added that stamped piece of Basic White.

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop | Hues of Happiness

Hello! Welcome to StampinByHannah for this months Crafty Challenge Blog Hop! This months Challenge was a sketch, which I haven’t played with all that much to be honest. I knew I wanted to use Designer Series Paper for the stripes, but then took a little while to pick a suite…. I am so happy that I settled on Hues of Happiness, I LOVE this suite!

Hues of Happiness Thank you card using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

The stripes of Designer Series Paper are layered onto a panel of Basic White card stock, which I have die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies for that stitched edge and then popped up on a heap of Dimensionals. The layer behind is stamped with the coordinating Happiness Abounds stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.

Hues of Happiness Thank you card using Stampin' Up! products with StampinByHannah

The sentiment uses the Amazing Thanks dies and is cut from Basic White and Bermuda Bay card stock. And the card is finished with a trio of Glossy Dots.
