StampinByHannah Inspire.Create.Challenge 018 Lemon Zest Sunshine Birthday Card
As we head towards summer here in the UK we are all hoping for some more Sunshine… but you know, you can always make your own! For me Sunshine says Bright colours and fun…. and I hope that my card for Inspire.Create.Challenges fits that brief!
It has been FAR too long since I pulled this stamp set off my Stamp Shelf! Lemon Zest is so fun… and it has a coordinating punch… but it’s one I have really struggled to use! So, this is a bit of a two part challenge for me this week, one, to make a card that says ‘Sunshine’ and two, to make something with this fabulous Stamp Set!
The card itself is Old Olive, with layers of Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White, a splatter of Old Olive ink… and then I’ve gone to town with circle dies!
It’s always really easy to forget what sentiments a theme’d stamp set like this contains… but how lovely is that Happy Birthday?

As well as the Lemon Zest bundle this card uses the Stitched Shapes Framelits – these are such a must have for the new catalogue by the way. There are 5 lemons / limes stamped and punched then arranged in the die cut space. To get the sentiment on the lemon I stamped the lemon first, the used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment before I punched out the shape, cool huh!
