3D Friday | Squishy Giftbag

3D Friday Squishy gift bag tutorial using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up!

I am loving 3D Friday, I hope you are too! I shared this giftbag project a while ago (it was for a Global Design Project Challenge!) but I realised last week that I never got round to filming the tutorial… so here it is!

3D Friday Squishy gift bag tutorial using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up!

This paper of Designer Series Paper has totally grown on me through the course of this years Annual Catalogue, I wasn’t sure fruit themed paper was really my thing, but I have found that I have used it a lot over the past 10 months! This particular pattern is my favourite, and so I have struggled to use it! But the next Annual Catalogue launch is quickly approaching and so I have started my mission to use up my left over Designer Series Paper!

Measurements:

Designer Series Paper: 12 x 6″ (30.5 x 15 cm)

Score on the long side at 3 3/4, 5 3/4, 9 1/2 and 11 1/2″ (9.5, 14.5, 24 and 29 cm)

Score on the short side at 1 1/2″ (4 cm)

Flirty Flamingo mat – 2 x 2 3/4″ (5 x 7 cm)

Whisper White layer – 1 3/4 x 2 1/2″ (4.5 x 6.5 cm)

This Designer Series Paper coordinates with the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set, which is where the stamped images are taken from.

Make It Monday | Note Card Box

Note Card gift Set using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

I spent the a weekend with a few of my Stampin’ Sisters, crafting a few weeks ago, and one of the projects we made was a fabulous note card and tag box – which I will admit I still haven’t finished! But it did inspire me to make something a little simpler this week.

Note cards and envelopes gift box using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

The original box, in Mint Macaron, uses the Christmas Pines stamp set and coordinating Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper, while the video version is in Fruit Stand with the Fresh Fruit Stamp set.

Box Measurements:

Box Base – 9 1/2 x 4″, score on the long side at 1, 4 1/2, 5 1/2 and 9″ and the short side at 1″

Box Lid – 9 3/4 x 3″, score on the long side at 1 1/8, 4 5/8, 5 11/16, 9 1/4″, and the short side at 1″

Designer Series Paper – 1 piece 3/4 x 3 1/4″, 2 pieces 3/4 x 1 3/4″, and 2 pieces 1 3/4 x 3 1/4″

Note Card gift Set using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

The note cards in this set at 3 x 4″ cards, created by cutting card stock to 4 x 6″ and scoring at 3″. The Designer Series Paper is cut to 2 3/4 x 3 3/4. Have I mentioned about the Designer Series Paper yet? No! For the month of October if you buy 3 packs of Designer Series Paper, you can choose another pack for FREE! isn’t that awesome?!

Fresh Fruit Note Card Set using Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! UK

The final part of this project is the envelopes. I make no secret of the fact that I adore the Envelope Punch Board, and I couldn’t make a project with Designer Series Paper without making my own custom envelopes! The punch board lists all the measurements you need for heaps of different card sizes, and so just by looking at the board I found that for 3 x 4″ note cards, you need a piece of 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper – that means that you get 4 of these envelopes from a sheet of 12 x 12! Handy! The board then instructs you to punch and score at 2 5/8″ to create the envelope.

Island Indigo Fresh Fruit Card Set

Fresh Fruit Card Collection using Stampin' Up! Uk products

I made these 3 cards last month, but somehow I missed posting them! Shocking I know! but you still get to see them in the end, so it doesn’t really matter does it!

Fresh Fruit Card Collection using Stampin' Up! Uk productsI really wanted to make a card using Fresh Fruit that wasn’t fruity … and somehow ended up with a three card set!

Thank you card using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

Each card has an Island Indigo card base, and a mat of Very Vanilla, but I couldn’t decide which other colour to use, or then how I wanted to apply the sentiment either! So, this first card uses Flirty Flamingo, with the sentiment on a banner
Birthday card using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK
Have you worked out which bit of the Fresh Fruit stamp set I have used yet? Yes, it’s the circles, they are supposed to be the outline of the peach! I just love the look of the outline images in this stamp set, I think they work really well on their own as well as together with their solid partners.

The second card is in Melon Mambo. I decided that I wasn’t keen on the banner on the first card, and would rather use a strip for the sentiment, but then couldn’t decide if I wanted it to go all the way across the card, or just across the Very Vanilla piece

Island Indigo Fresh Fruit Card Collection using Stampin' Up! UK productsSo I tried both! I still don’t think I could pick a favourite either, this last card uses Watermelon Wonder with the Island Indigo.

Which one is your Favourite?

A Fruity Thank you….

Simple Thank You card featuring Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

Hey folks, sorry for the lack of a Make It Monday this week, but the last few weeks have been totally crazy here! For a bit of back story, I’m a nurse, but I have recently changed jobs (for the 4th time in 7 months) and am now in a management role (which I am absolutely LOVING!) but I’m working some crazy long shifts over the summer and its not leaving me a whole heap of time for you guys – so August might be a quiet affair around here; however, I’m not going anywhere, my shop is open 24/7 as always and I am always here to answer any questions you may have, just understand it might take me a couple of hours to get back to you. Right, thats enough of that, lets get on with a card shall we?!

Fresh Fruit Thank you card using Stampin' Up! UK products

This card is super simple to put together, even though it looks complex. The card base is in Peekaboo Peach, and is stamped in Peekaboo Peach on the corners. I’m loving this Designer Series Paper too, very fresh and summery, those apples are so cute!

Simple Thank You card featuring Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

I’ve been playing with masking again on this card, I stamped the Thank You first, and then stamped the fruits over the top in Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, and Peekaboo Peach with Smoky Slate outlines and dots.

My Online Card Class using this stamp set closes at 9PM tonight! I am so excited about getting this one out to you lovely people, my plan is to get it out to you over the weekend, so hopefully by this time next week you’ll be making fabulous cards like this one!

How cute are these stamps?! I mentioned yesterday about my love of 2-step stamping and this stamp set features this technique too. Each fruit stamp comes with both a line image and the solid inner, to create these fabulous fruits. Oh, and there is more to this set than just fruit, as it also includes two different sized flowers too.

And then there is the Designer Series Paper…

Make It Monday | Fresh Fruit Box

Fresh Fruit Fresh Stand Designer Series Paper Candle Box using Stampin' Up! UK Products

Make It Monday with Stampin' Up!

I have a different sort of project to share with you today. Over the past few weeks I have been sharing card videos for Make It Monday, but today I thought I would make a box instead. I was totally inspired by the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper on this one, when my pack of paper arrived I pulled out all the papers and immediately thoguht of these awesome candles that have been in my candle draw for AGES! and I couldn’t find them – I was so disappointed, but I found a couple last week and so this box was born….

Make it Monday Video Tutorial Fresh Fruit From Stampin' Up! UK

How cute are these?! and although I made them with Giant Tealights in mind I’m sure that these would also fit some of those very nice chocolate balls too.

The box is simple to put together, in a Pizza box style. I didn’t add a thumb notch on the Melon Mambo version but the Old Olive one I used my 1″ circle punch to take out a little piece at the front just big enough to put your thumb nail in for easier opening

Fresh Fruit Fresh Stand Designer Series Paper Candle Box using Stampin' Up! UK ProductsThe flower is taken from the Fresh Fruit stamp set. I’m totally loving the 2-step stamping effect of this stamp set, with the solid layer stamped off once before stamping on the project for a lighter tone, and the outline image stamped at full strength. I’m also enjoying this colour combination; Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive, very fresh – great for Summer (if it ever arrives!)

Customer Thank You Cards using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

If you have ever placed an order with me you will know that I love to send a Thank You card to my customers. If you have ever shopped using my Code Club Code, you will know that you guys get even more! I just LOVE to spoil my customers, you are all awesome, and I wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank You cards using Fresh Fruit and Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

I made a stack of these Thank You cards last week for the ladies that attended my Catalogue Launch Party at the beginning of the month. They also got cake and a notebook on the night too.

These cards feature the stamp set that is going to be my Stamp of the Month in July – Fresh Fruit! I have been LOVING making heaps of samples using this set, saying that there is fruit to be seen here! Just pretty flowers…

Customer Thank You Cards using Fresh Fruit from Stampin' Up! UK

The colour combination was totally inspired by the matching Designer Series Paper – Fruit Stand – and I have used Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Watermelon Wonder on these cards. The Thank You was stamped first in Peekaboo Peach and masked off using a bit of sticky note, then the flower and leaves were added, and the cards finished with a strip of Designer Series Paper.
